I work events in the Bay Area and have worked in the Palantir buildings multiple times over the years, they have buildings all over Palo Alto. I was always intrigued by the company and could never really figure out exactly what they did but the guys running the company are OBSESSED with the Lord of the Rings/ Hobbit and have a Hobbitcon event every year it was interesting working those

The more data points these AI company have access to OR can generate, the more powerful these AI platforms can get. So only a matter of time before the AI gets more and more hands-free and automated, thus exponentially scalable. We need more companies like Palantir coming out of the West, because China have the datapoint advantage that will be difficult to counter.
There is a change coming in the way we interact with data. The mere fact that Palantir is already doing it is very convincing.

Thanks for DCFs, but more importantly explaining what the businesses actually do and why it's valuable.
Palantir does both: build tools and provide services for organizations to use those tools. It's not either/or; it's both.
Alex Carp is an interesting guy who has strong ethics. Palantir's platform is designed for strong protection for privacy.
I would say even $28 is an early entry!
Their international market reach is just getting started to!!
