Breaking!! Bitcoin Getting Banned? Potential Price Impact?? India to reportedly propose cryptocurrency ban, penalizing miners and traders. According to Reuters, India will propose a law banning cryptocurrencies, fining anyone trading in the country or even holding such digital assets, a senior government official told Reuters. The bill, one of the world’s strictest policies against cryptocurrencies, would criminalize possession, issuance, mining, trading and transferring crypto-assets, said the official, who has direct knowledge of the plan. The measure is in line with a January government agenda that called for banning private virtual currencies such as bitcoin while building a framework for an official digital currency (Source: CNBC).

God Tom you are so dry of news to bring this up. In 2017 there were so many banning including India that any hodler does not even bother reading the title thus reading the article…most of time this kind of news scaring little kids allow those who create the fear to accumulate…a bit like wall street stars saying they are bullish on a stock when they are dropping theor position on plebs listening to them…

It's alarming that they talk about cryptocurreny in general. However, I recommend you to think this trough. BTC has a problem with the distribution. In a society (where people depend on each other and currency defines ones purchase power) it is only a matter of time before systems that have an inherent problem with distribution will get banned. Surely there are also other reasons like totalitarian control and our fiat system is pretty much broken … but BTC in its current state will only make it worse.

Well they did ban 500 and 1000 rupee notes in 2016. I would never trust the Indian government.

Have u heard of DEMONITISATION?,the biggest scam ever in such a big country ,a puppet of the corporates did that,so the rich could change their ill-gotten money to legal money, same will be done for BTC, yes u r right countries are scared to loose control of power, money is power right? Gold is commodity ,yes ! So by definition if BTC is commodity, can't the definition be changed? So by banning BTC, the Indian govt actually scare mongering. So common guys give up BTC and Indian billioners can load up more IMO, complete bunch of crooks at the Top IMO, yes they want internet freedom to be scrutinized more n more , perhaps the BTC banning is a pretext, yes the MFs can do it,have no BTC but love the idea of Cryptos, alternate coins, good one Tom .can u do a video on BTC how it's valued and how the system works?

Funny how you use China as an example. Remember how everyone laughed when the Chinese government said that they were going to put up the Great Firewall and censor the internet? No one thought it was possible but look at the state of the internet in China now. Just because someone can use or exploit something doesn't mean they can't control it.
