Hey, this is Tom Nash and back in April I Made this video. Let me pull it up on the screen so you guys can see it. April 18 2023 The share price of Palantir was eight dollars and eighty cents. It was already up 38 and I told you literally I told you this is your last chance to invest I Said it.

Now this isn't financial advice. This was not and is not a recommendation to buy or sell Palantir. It's just my own personal opinion. But I said hey, this is just getting started at eight dollars and eighty cents.

this is your last chance. And of course you know this aged like fine wine and this stock is currently at twenty dollars per share. And at this point the same people who were telling you that this is a bad idea to buy a stock that just skyrocketed 40 percent. They're not saying well.

look, this stock used to be Nine dollars. Why would I pay 20 bucks on this stock which is currently look, it's trading at twenty dollars per share. Twenty dollars per share for a stock. It used to be nine dollars per share just four months ago.

Three and a half months ago, that's too expensive to Hon We're not gonna buy that and I get it I Get it. I Get where you're coming from. But look, there's a chance that this keeps running. There's a chance it pulls back I Don't know what happens, but when you get into the psychological mindset of chasing a stock and trying to wait for pullback timing, the market is a very dangerous place.

Now, why do they keep buying Palantir when it was dropping like a stone? Look paneteer. This is when I came in November 2020 18.15 was my age. like my entry point the first video ever made volunteer was here. Stock drives up to 35 dollars per share.

Everybody says Tom's a genius I get so much love then stock drops all the way to eight dollars all the way to seven dollars in 2022. Everybody says Tom's an idiot, right? Tom's a genius A year later Tom's an idiot now Tom's a genius Again By the way, I don't know if you noticed and first of all, if you are one of the people who called me a genius, then called me an idiot and I was calling me a genius again. Please unsubscribe for my channel. I don't want you as if you were I don't want you as a follower.

It's nothing emotional, it's just you're not a long-term investor and my channel isn't going to give you any value. So if you are one of the people who are hating on me and I'll like me again, just move away to a different Channel This is a long-term investing Channel I mean I serve no purpose for you. No hard feelings at all. just unsubscribe it's it's okay I Don't mind now.

Let's so why did I not sell here at seven dollars and forty cents? Uh, you know, stocks stocks go up and down. but I dropped like this from 35 to 7. That means you know the company's done four right. I had YouTubers telling me sell this stock.

it's reputational damage you're associated with Volunteer. You have to, you know, stay away from it. We had YouTubers Famous YouTubers Who Sold volunteer just for the cloud. It was fashionable to hate on it Etc But you know I never sold.
Why? Because I had genuine belief in the company I had faith based on my due diligence my process My Method My system my own discipline which I teach by the way on my patreon Patreon.com forward slash domnash. This is literally what we teach on Patreon how to become a long-term investor in good companies over time using dollar cost averaging without emotions, without formal, without anxiety. So I was using my system to stay disciplined I have faith I have conviction I Don't care that the stock drop Very very simple. The only thing I've done through the time is dollar cost average into the stock.

No matter the price, price goes up. price goes down. Buy this stock at all times. but you know, buy more when it dips, buy a little bit less when it raises the price a little bit higher.

Very very simple. So my dollar cost average my weighted average have come down significantly because I kept on buying when the stock was lower. But now we're at another juncture here. and at this juncture by the way, all the data you're seeing on the screen now is powered by stock.

MVP So now we're in the second juncture right now because now Pilot is facing earnings again. And as you know, Palantir during earnings season is a very volatile stock. It's almost kind of manic depressive. Very, very volatile stock.

You never know where this you know it's going to go. It might dip like crazy, it might drop to 14 a share, might even go lower God for a bit or it might Spike and go to thirty dollars like So if I did, who knows. There's no way for me to tell you where this thing is going to go in the short term. It's impossible.

I'm a long-term investor, so the reason you know I stayed true to myself is because when it was, you know, seven dollars, my process didn't change. So what happens in earnings right now for me? Very, very simple. I See this company I see the numbers in December 2020 This company generated one billion dollars of Revenue Currently it's on Pace to deliver two billion dollars of Revenue at the end of this year Now, a company that doubles its revenues in three years during a pandemic. a macro environment with a lot of challenges High Interest rates, a lot of issues, and they doubled their revenue in three years during that time I Feel very confident about the stability of the business and the growth trajectory of the business.

But for me, you know it's very, very simple. if the earnings are such that the stock dips and it goes below 18 dollars and I've explained multiple times why 18 is that number. For me, if it drops below 18 per share, I'm gonna start doubling down on my dollar cost average I'm going to dollar cost average a little bit faster if the stock stays above 18 or even spikes. I'm going to keep dollar cost averaging at my normal Pace at my slower pace.
Why would I sell now? Whether it goes down or up if it goes to 14 or goes to thirty dollars, why would I sell Now Why stop buying Now When I Know this company has a lot more potential. We haven't even talked about the fact that we have many catalysts coming up for Palantir for the next year. We have the Titan deal. We have the NHS deal.

We have the S P inclusion. All these things are going to be major catalysts for Palantir over the next year. Why would they sell now? Especially when this is a bulletproof company. We've just seen it through the pandemic and through the macro environment.

They have the you know, 50 of the business coming from the Department of Defense which is an anchor they're going to get you know, projects no matter how bad the economy is. They have 111 retention rate, three billion in cash, No debt, massive pricing Power Top 20. Clients are paying 50 million per year on average 80 gross margin I Mean all that with a price to sales 20 lower than Snowflake I Mean come on, this is a no-brainer Now to me, you know this isn't for anybody. Palantir is a very unique stock.

My bottom line here is number one: Make sure you make a binary decision. The binary decision should be do I invest in the stock or not it is an expensive stock. It's price for Perfection And the only way you should be investing in Palantir. In my opinion, this isn't financial advice is if you have high conviction and you think that this is the next trillion dollar company.

If you don't see that with Palantir and you're trying to play the greater full Theory to buy it now because you think it might go up, don't do it. It's a bad idea. You're gonna be slammed. Do Not Do it Now.

Obviously all this data right here is coming from stock. MVP Go check out stock. MVP There's a discount code last 40 you can get 40 off for the rest of the lifetime of use. And if you want to learn the system of how to invest long term in a company like Palantir which is extremely volatile and isn't cheap, head on over to Putin.com Nash We have one last spot left at the Academy and you know plenty of spots on the regular five dollar uh membership which gives you full access to our Discord to all the rooms and everything.

Full access to the community. We have a palantir room dedicated for volunteer. would love to see you there in the zoom calls and all the good stuff. Love you all I'll see you in the next video.

My initial buy into PLTR was at $16 and the lowest at $7.37. The only mistake I did is not doing DCA properly but in reverse: I added more dollars at higher price than at lower. But obviously I am green nevertheless, just less green than I could be.

    Hi Tom
I love and follow you, I am a long term share holder of PLTR, and agree there is a lot to come. I am also share holder of Snowflake and you often compare both companies in term of price to sell, and sure PLTR is cheaper.
I know you are not the type to hide some crucial information but you forgot to mention the past 2 years regarnie growth is way higher for SNOW, factor that could justify this Price to sell appreciation if you compare to PLTR.
    Tell me your thoughts ?
    Thanks

I bought 10 calls at $13 strike price with 6 months to expiration when PLTR was at $11. Total purchased price for all 10 calls was $780. This stock then went way down to $7.5, causing my calls to crash 90%. I was going to sell them to be done with PLTR but decided to not. Well 2 months later, I sold all my 10 calls at $4.5 per call, resulting in about $3800 in profit. Wish I hadn't sold those calls though because they went up to as high as $7.5. Urgh….

Personally, I don't enjoy the parts of your video that you spend talking about 'haters' or people who think you're an idiot. You've got 300k subscribers Tom, if I cared about their opinion I wouldn't be subscribed

Pltr will go no where. Already a rich valuation when they are dependent on governments.

Biggest companies already running their own servers and software.

They have no diversification. Look at any large company and they have to diversify out. For a shining example

    Tesla

    Batteries
    In house production
    Relentless innovation
    Dojo
    Robots
    FSD
    Robotaxi
    Solar
    Home energy
    Insurance
    Superchargers
    Refining
Already beat every OEM with new way to design cars
    Gigacastings
    ….

Palantir has one revenue source. All the largest companies already will never use Pltr. Great company. Already priced in growth since Ai hype. Haven’t even turned a profit yet. CEO pays himself way too much.

I don’t play risky beats when there is no known market leader. Software / computers change yearly and it is not cemented Pltr will service all lower companies. If they want to or need to. Way too early to signal a sure bet when we are in the age of information and it’s just begun. High risk play. Just be warned.

PLTR is one of my smaller holdings, less than 8ish%. Backed the truck up around the $8-$9ish dip last winter (before the dip into the 6's) and waited for the run up. Last couple of months been selling weekly OTM CC on around half my shares, aim for 20%++ OTM and 20 cent contracts.

For example, hit $20 last week so I sold 15 $24 contracts for 62¢. Which dropped my DCA 30ish cents last week, (normally aim for 20¢ contracts but last week was a good week for premium, and getting assigned at $24 would be fine). If I get assigned, I make the other half "free", and start selling CSP's with the "extra" money on the "free" position. If I stay OTM I whittle down my DCA.

DCA currently in the $7 range. Hopefully dipping into the $6's in 4-6 weeks. Unless premium dries up

Hi Tom, I am an Architect but I started 2 years ago investing (and almost 1.5 years of following you). I started with $500 because is very hard to invest if you are not in USA. Now I have $890 (in open positions) I just do it for fun, I usually prefer to invest in my company (it has better returns for me 😂) also Tradestation charge me like 5 bucks for each transactions, I have lost almost $100 in fees.

    My portfolio:
I have only 30 palantir shares at $11, 1 Tesla at $200 And some other cannabis with almost $200 in loses. Lol.

If you see this coment. What would you say about this? Do you recommend to keep going?

Tom I have purchase PLTR since 2020 and just like you I have continue to purchase lots at different prices. Have never sold ! I believe this is a long term hold. I guess whether justified or not you have made critical comments about PLTR when it was down. But to your credit you have never sold. I think that is where some feel like they can criticize you on PLTR. But hey I am with you PLTR it is long term hold and it will continue to climb.

Hi from the UK. I have only recently started investing and Palantir are in my portfolio. I do not have much disposable income for investment, but do what I can. Currently I only have 25 shares but will increase this gradually over time. I do have a time target of 2031 as I am saving for my wife’s 60th birthday and want to make it a very special occasion. So currently Palantir, Sofi and Tesla are my main investments and a few elsewhere. I’m not interested in day style trading but for a more long term investment. I really like your videos and find them very informative. Thank you.

I’m buying 2 shares of Tesla and 10 shares of Palantir every week, every Friday.
Time in the market over timing the market, cost averaging.
