2. I wanted a battery storage system and a multiple system transfer switch. I live in the Lancaster area of Los Angeles County. But I had to buy solar panels from Tesla before I could get 2 Powerwalls. Since I got rid of my gas wall heater and the evaporative cooler. And installed a heat pump.
   I took several loans for the whole package. I also upgraded the windows and remodeled my kitchen. Refinanced my house to pay off all loans and remove all liens on the property. Since my current loan is 2.87%, and the original loan was 7.5%. My monthly case outflow is less than the original payment. And I have a much more comfortable house. And I don't notice the power outages that happen now and then.
   Buy yes, lease or rent never!

3. This is prepandemic. A lot more people are working from home now. I was going to get Tesla, but they told me to remove $4,000 worth of trees. Too much up front costs.

7. Thank you for the enlightenment. My companion who shares the house that I own outright, just brought home a business card for a local solar company. I had mentioned an interest in putting solar panels. Shortly after this I received a call from a woman wanting me to send her my utility bills and set up an appointment. I absolutely hate high pressure sales, and I'm immediately put off when someone calls and tries to rush me through the process. I so appreciate your video, it gave me validation for my spidey sense that was screaming "scam". I'll be doing a lot more research before I even see another solar contractor!

13. 20 to 40 thousands dollars for the solar panels, I'd rather pay 200/mo or less for my electricity and have control over it myself than go thru all the crap from the government and the solar co. I have enough rules and regulations in my daily life .

15. The scam goes beyond the financial rip offs..The panels and batteries have not been perfected enough yet. The batteries sulfide prematurely and the panels fail early by not absorbing sun energy due to the glass fogging up and the contacts corroding. The equipment fails from 8 month to 14 months. Now you are stuck with a non working system. Weather damage is not cover by warranties. If you happen to loose panels during storms, too bad, the expense to replace panels is all on you.

16. You didn't cover completely the tax credit and what it may mean for some people. there are some that don't have a tax burden and so the tax credit really doesn't work for them. They may never collect because they don't have a tax to pay. But the sales people make it sound like you get a check from the gov.

19. Anyone who buys Tesla anything, including stock, BEWARE! Tesla is notorious for making changes to pricing and any other contractual obligations at anytime. Not a company you want to be involved with.

27. Brilliant Tesla. I purchased my Solar since 2021 it has been nightmare until now. Bad customer service , bad installer. Biggest regret in my life.
