Since this is one of the most frequently asked questions I receive, these are my top 5 favorite books I recommend for business and success. While these books aren’t the how-to types with real estate and investments, these books would give a solid foundation to wealth, business, and mindset that have made a significantly impact on me. Enjoy! Feel free to add me on Snapchat / Instagram: GPStephan -- Top 5 picks below:
Your money or your life - https://goo.gl/fmlaJR
This one really puts your time into perspective with regard to how much something costs you, compared with how much time you spend making money. If you work at $20/hour and a dinner costs you $40, the dinner is 2 hours of your time - thinking of expenses like this shows you the value of your time and learning to make the most of it.
Think and Grow Rich - https://goo.gl/SSKlyu
This is a classic that I’ve read MULTIPLE times. In fact, I likely read this one at least once per year - you can also find it on YouTube as an audiobook. Think and Grow Rich simplifies the techniques some of the most successful people have used in achieving their wealth, and what they all have in common. This is a MUST READ for anyone interested.
The Millionaire Next Door - https://goo.gl/KaDa7R
Not all millionaires live flashy lives or come from family money - in fact, the vast majority of millionaires are first generation wealthy. Most of them live very modestly, most of them are business owners, and most of them live under the radar. This book is great to put this in perspective and surveys actual millionaires and how they created their wealth.
The 4 Hour Work Week - https://goo.gl/xqmhGE
This was one of the books that inspired me to begin creating passive income. While so many entrepreneurs and business people preach “hustling 24/7, working all the time, never sleeping,” Timothy Ferris takes the opposite approach - work as little as possible. This book is a great foundation to creating passive income and leveraging your time with the resources around you.
Awaken the Giant Within - https://goo.gl/niIAEI
This is one of my favorite self-help books. Anthony Robins speaks about limiting beliefs and how to overcome the mental obstacles that could be holding you back. I’m a believer that success first starts from within, so this is a great book to realize what would mentally be holding you back from achieving what you want.
Thanks so much for watching!

Hello Graham from the past, I am looking for a good beginners book on getting started with real estate. Googling this returns too many options, flashy titles, almost feels like click bait. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks
God bless you graham❤️
can you list the book titles in the description area please.
watching this in 2021 😀
I have Think and Grow Rich and The Millionaire next door. My first finance book was Rich Dad Poor Dad. It's what started my journey. I have a total of about 25 finance books and I've read 16 of them so far. Plan to keep reading. I'm currently reading Nomad Capitalist and Think and Grow rich. I read one at work during break and the other at home in my spare time.
Great video sir keep it up
What did he mean by compilation think and grow rich? I have the original 1930 print version
wait wait wait HE USED TO HAVE AN ACCENT?
What I’m noticing is you read most of these in high school when most kids were concerned with other things. You spent time reading and truly educating yourself at a young age. I wish I learned this stuff in high school.
Some great books there. Have you read 'Think it. Pitch it. Sell it' by Pierre Coombes its a great read.
Just bought all of these! Gonna binge everything on kindle…
Bro I'm an active subscriber and watching this video from so far back makes me realise how much you've done to improve your videos
“SunCor Financial MPI review"
Hi Graham, viewer from the UK here, been loving your content for the past few years. I come back to this video a lot. I would love to see an updated version of this video. I have read a lot of books about economics, finance, wealth etc. Recently I read Capital as Power ( a study of order and creorder which i highly recommend) and Capital in the 21st century. Both of these, and many books I come across are theory based. Would be great to get your updated list of top 10 books that offer practical, actionable advice (i don't mean one's that are get rich quick).
Best, Joe
Thanks for your great video! Recently, I came across a very interesting book from an author named Ollivier Mafaya. The book is not very long, it's called "NONSENSE" and in a very straightforward way it tells about the cost of all business processes (marketing, employees, outsourcing, etc.) and how to go about it all. Interestingly, the author debunks various motivational myths in a very interesting way. The book is on Amazon, I'm ultra-curious about your opinion.
Good stuff Graham!
Congrats on your 50k subscribers bet you'll grow bigger 👏 😆 🤣
3.5 years later I found this video and I'm now diving into this list of books, thanks Graham!
December 17, 2020 during Coronavirus pandemic.
Goes to show how ahead of its time the 4-hour work week by Tim Ferris was.
Went back to find this! 🙂
Your videos have come so far.

Great work Graham! Love your videos!
Wow some of the books you've mentioned are so expensive!
Make new video on this graham!
You’re the reason I started in real estate. I’ve been a small business owner and self employed for 4 years and your videos were so informative I made a complete career change and I’ve become a millionaire before 30 ♥️thank you!!!
I’m binge watching your channel from oldest to newest in case you didn’t notice lol
I can relate to the first book This year my eyes opened and yes I’m one of the ppl that have worked 12+ yrs and have nothing to show for it 😞 As a truck driver I was eating out 3-4 times a day any where from $10-$20 a meal plus buy drinks and snacks 😱 I adds it up what I spent on food I could’ve bought a House with cash no wonder I’m old and as big as house now struggling to lose weight 😞
A book graham needs to read is how to relax imo. Its fantastic to have this drive to save and grow money, but it shouldn't come at the expense of enjoying yourself (and spending money).
At the end of the day, money is just an enabler. An enabler to do what – create memories. If someone earns 100k a year and spend 100k a year, they may not have "anything to show for it" physically, but they may have memories of the best 5 months traveling around Europe, or the memories of going on a road trip in their dream car, or the memories of eating out whenever and wherever they like with their friends, or the memories of going to every city in every state.
Spending 100% of your income is extreme, but so is only spending 2% of your income. Balance it out, relax, create some memories. We all die in the end anyway, and dying with 100 million in the bank wont be much use when youre 6 feet under.
