Here’s what you often don’t see behind almost every success story out there, and I’m sure these are things we all go through. These are a few of the struggles along the way from my perspective…enjoy! Snapchat / Instagram: GPStephan
1. The loneliness. When I first started selling real estate and working as a real estate agent, everyone was significantly older than me - and being in an office full of middle-aged people made it extremely difficult for me to relate to friend my own age. That, combined with my work schedule and different interests, made it really difficult to make friends my own age. It wasn’t easy building friendships outside of school and took a lot of time to cultivate these relationships.
2. The random things I’d give up along the way. College could have been one of them - no regrets, but I definitely wonder what it would have been like to go. But even smaller things, like investing becoming a priority, diligently saving, delayed gratification - all of this came up from time to time.
3. The stress. I’m incredibly invested in every one of my deals and don’t want to let anyone down. There’s definitely the uncertainty that I might not live up to someone’s expectations and that takes a toll.
4. The doubt. Even though I can look at anyone’s real estate deal objectively without a problem, when it comes to myself, I doubt it - just the nature of the game. So it’s definitely not easy for me to figure out which decision is best.
5. The uncertainty. I don’t know all the answers and I do my best to make the decision I believe is the best at the time, given the situation. I’m sure I’m not always right and I have no idea until after the fact.
If I’m not the only one who’s felt like this, comment below and let me know - I read them all! 🙂

Wow. Graham (or anyone who sees this for that matter), I hope you realize the value of this video. The authenticity is amazing man. I hope you realize the impact you're making on people. How you're changing people's perspectives about money. About the purpose of money. About the truth behind success. In today's world of everyone flexing their BMW's and fancy houses in Beverly Hills, your radically different viewpoint is going to change a lot of people's lives for the better. Don't stop dude!

    1. Reminds me someone… 🤔
    2. I experienced both work and university. You're right, it's that case when you regret only because you didn't experience those moments.
    3. I am the same. Also I very much believe that whatever I do should be done perfectly, from the first time. Agree about stress.
    4. Oh ye…
You are not the only one!
    Keep doing your thing! 😊

… so you're making videos as a form of therapy? Haha 😀 Nice video, thx for being human and open and share your doubts that makes us real and human. It change from the videos of the genre that tell you "YOU can do it without working and be a millionnaire, just buy my thing!" Kisses from France, Paris where the price of square meter is crazy.

It's truly an odd complex everyone who tries to reach their full potential arrives at. You want to be successful so you can be comfortable with your friends and family, but as you become successful through hard work you find yourself losing connection with the people you love. Very difficult to have your cake and eat it too

Hi Graham, Enjoying your videos but I'm wondering if you haven't already done so, can you post a video on how to identify the best company's in the stock market to invest in? I recently made a small investment and bought 500 shares in Canada Jet Lines which is a new Airline that will be starting up in Canada. Before putting in some chump change, I read the Corporate Bio's (just like reading a resume) and took a good look at the company's Business Plan.

I'm wondering if you could provide some feedback on this and again what is your strategy on identifying the best companies to invest in?

Thanks in advance for your advice and feedback!

PS…. You should write a book on your success, I think you would do really well!

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Lucky Needle says:

Thanks Graham! I can totally relate to all of it. Its nice to know we aren't the only ones.
