Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
All right. Well, I think what we'll do here is just an early midday market recap. It's 10:00 a.m. and I'm gonna call it a day here.
I'm not going to keep pushing my luck I'm not seeing as much momentum today as I started hoping to see. Despite that, it's gonna be the 18th consecutive. Green Day Finishing up two thousand, four hundred, forty five dollars and seven cents showing it again, it's just about finding one or two. You know, decent setups and that can be enough to scalp your way up to the daily goal.
So we put my trading window up here. Alright, so there's my IRA account. so the to talk side trade to take a BSF and staff. Both of these were straight off of our watch list this morning, which is always nice to be able to trade right off the watch list.
I'm going to move this over here. There we go. All right. So this morning if I run this scan here, I'll do a historical scan for let's see what's this doing.
Hello ho, its acting weird all right. Well, that didn't work. Oh, it worked really slowly. Okay, so we'll do 924 am.
That's fine. All right. So this morning you know the bells about to ring and we're well, you know, 9:15 we have 15 minutes to the ballot and we're putting together the watch list. Staff was our leading gapper.
It was gapping up 61% with a 3.5 million share flow. This stock is a former runner. It's got a history of making big moves and so I had a long bias on it. The pre-market high was three dollars and 40 cents and I said that I was going to be a buyer based basically on a retest of pre market highs getting in.
as soon as the bell rang, so the bell rings, it dips down for one second and then as it starts to surge up I the buy button once twice and a third time as we were coming up into the the pre-market Hi! So I got filled on this one at let's see 30. Let me just pull this window up here a little bit. So I got filled at 34 and there was those Man see I got filled at 3:30 and 3:30 was six thousand shares and I added another three thousand shares at three Thirty four. So I had nine thousand shares of the stock and I sold it at 342 as we broke the pre market high for nine hundred and ninety six dollars of profit wasn't the biggest winner, but you know it was a scalp out of the gates and we pretty much got you know, basically the minimum that I expected, which was that we would break the pre-market high.
We did break the pre-market high by about five cents, but we didn't break over the half dollar and that was kind of disappointing. I Was really hoping it would break the half dollar 350 and squeeze a little higher, but it couldn't do it. And you can see although it's a former runner, it does have a few days where you see the red candles. So I suppose that that was probably weighing on it a little bit and it just sort of been fading off that level.
You know in hindsight, well you know, maybe there was a little more range to the short side, but you know in any case, I can't shorten the IRA So and I don't think I had shares at Lightspeed for staff. let me just check. Yeah it says L4 locates Ono shares available so that was staff about thousand bucks and then the other one that was on our watch list was KBS f you can see here pre market gap of 18 percent loaf load stock. pulled up the chart it had a headline this morning same as staff and so I was watching this for a break of the pre market highs as well which is 480 now in this one the bell rang and actually opened a little low. it opened at 450 but then it started to squeeze up and as it started to squeeze up I saw the green on the tape which is right here. this is the time in sales I saw the green on the time in sales and I was like okay, looks like it's sorry that came on quick. So yeah, so I saw the green on the time in sales and it was, you know, moving quickly. So I was like okay I'm gonna go ahead and jump in this.
so this is the green right here so it's squeezing up and I went ahead and punched the Buy button twice I punched it once at 360 one and a second time at 3s. sorry for 61 in a second time at 470 and then I sold the whole thing at 490 notice I sold the whole thing on staff and then the whole thing here. So today I'm wearing a wrist brace. My wrist has been just sort of bothering me a little bit.
It's been. it's been bothering me for a couple years. it's it's like a I don't know carpal tunnel type of thing so it's from time to sometimes it feels 100% great and then other times it starts to bother me. So I've been wearing this wrist brace and for some reason it kind of changed the way that hand sits on the keyboard.
and so I accidentally pressed the wrong hotkey on both of these trades here. I sold that press the hotkey to sell the whole thing, instead, sell half and I did it again right here to sell the whole thing instead of selling half. So in both of these instances, I guess it wasn't that big of a deal, but if this had ended up squeezing over 5 and going to 525 50, I would have been really bummed out that you know I'd sold the whole thing at 490 so I'll probably not wear the wrist brace tomorrow. But anyways, and then SCS this one ended up getting halted.
squeezed up to a dollar 50, got halted, it resumed higher I tried to scalp it from 3 from sorry a dollar 53 I pressed the Buy button twice, but I'd put my order all the way up at $2 thinking that by putting the order at 2, I would definitely get filled. whether it opened it a dollar 50 or a dollar 70 or maybe a dollar eighty. Well, it ended up opening at only a dollar 50 and so I got an error that my wrist check failed because I was trying to buy at $2 which is more than 20% above the current price so order didn't go through. I Tried to buy six thousand shares at 53 and they ended up hitting a high of 70.
so I could have made maybe $600 on that trade, but that's the way it goes. so miss that opportunity. And then Ffh L came up on the scans right here I watched it squeeze up, watched it squeeze up, hit a high of 305 and I Let's see I punched the the short button on it at I guess 96 right here I press short and I was like yep, I'm gonna take a short on this I think it's gonna reverse. it's got no news. Look at the daily. It's got a history popping up and fading. popping up and fading. So try to short it at 3 and then, well.
hello. I'm in my IRA account I can't short stocks in my IRA So here's the IRA window. So wasn't able to take a trade so it got rejected. obviously because you can't shorten IRA account and that would have been a great trade because it dropped from 3 all the way back down to 247.
So right idea. Just you know, messed up on the execution, forgetting what you count I was in so that's the way it goes sometimes. But you know what? It's a green day. Almost 2500 dollars.
18th consecutive green day so far I have had nothing but green Days in 2019, nothing but green Days in January and I'm definitely happy with that so we'll try to do it again tomorrow. The Momentum today a little on the lighter side. We didn't see as much of the big big moves that I was maybe hoping for I see a couple you guys mentioning Bo XL Yeah, okay so this popped here from 175 to 208. a decent-size move, but then dropping back down so you know what it is.
For me, it's all about having a good entry point and then taking profit into the Momentum squeeze. So on both of these stocks, I was getting in just below the market hi expecting a break of pre market highs and we got in both cases. not the biggest breaks, but we got them and I took my profit into the squeeze and it's a easy gap and go set up to scalp set up so taking a quick scalp in and out a scalp trade is a short trade. My average trades are you know, 10 minutes long so and both of these were on the shorter side of that range for sure.
But you know, made my money here in the first five minutes of the day basically and you know that that'll do so. I'll be back at it first thing tomorrow. Hope you guys have a great afternoon and I will see you guys first thing tomorrow morning. 9:00 9:15 for pre market analysis? Alright, I'll see you guys in the morning if you're still watching.

how are you so fast on your trades at the open of market? do you place an order premarket? b/c when i hotkey an order at open i miss the move and get filled at the top. but you get filled at the bottom.
Thank you
I lost quickly on STAF got filled at the wrong point and dropped immediately. Serious question here however Ross… I notice that for a couple of months you have been taking trades almost right out of the gate, like the second the market opens on the first candle… a lot of traders would think this is gambling? How is it not a gamble with your strategy? Thanks in advance if you can get to my question 🙂
Understatement of the year regarding amount of time in the trade, "both of my trades were on the shorter side". 43 seconds for two round trips trades. Ross, I love you, but realistically, how long will it take for me to be able to process all that data and make those trades as quickly as you. I'm dedicated, it's just a little deflating to see you trading that fast when I know it's not realistic for me at this point.
Wrist brace helped. Both trades dropped right after you sold… not to sound like you needed the help or anything…lol. you the man.
Now I dont feel so bad seeing all the pain caused by STAF. I got in like you, BUT I didnt get out like you did when it hit the high, then dropped like a rock. How did you know??? After losing 1200 on STAF, I did get back 600 on PCG and 100 on MDWD, but that STAF really hurts. STAF = Stupid Trade Anxious and Foolish
does lightspeed have a simulator acct
Ross I saw you on T.V did you do a commercial?
One tiny scalp today. +10 but commissions would have eaten it up. No real good opps today unless you got in during the opening minute.
I knew it was going to be a bad day before the market opened because of all the bad news from China and the European market's performance. When the overall market is bearish it will impact momentum. Much riskier taking trades on days that start with bad market news!
Hey sir, what are the books you would recommend for a 18 years old for option?
no momentum >< . was focusing on NVCN and STAF, managed to cut loss quickly. missed MDWD ><. DAY 6, no green but very discipline, minor improvement needed 🙂
MDWD wasn’t on your watchlist? That one actually was gapping up and had news in the morning. I’m surprised you didn’t cover that one especially since it had a good trend.
I am learning so much from your pre-market and recap analyses. Thanks man!
I got into STAF at 3.34 I think and as soon as the market opened it dipped down… my 3rd red day
It was a really tuff today… You had to be very quick on the keys….! sucks when you with a broker without hotkeys….:-) THAT ENDED TODAY!!!!!!!!
Everyone lost money 💰 today im glad i didnt trade today lol
Hey Ross, I recently opened an account with CMEG but I have a Mac laptop, I notice the DAS trader download doesn't work on Mac do you know a way around this?
Let get back at it. I think my problem today was timing. It can be so hard to make fast choices in the moment. I need to become more robotic within trading. It is a hard thing to achieve. The silver lining is that I am trading better now than I was a year ago. If I keep moving in the same direction I can only see good things. I am taking a week off and paper trading for a bit to help myself get back into the zone. I lost my earnings for the week today and am back at breakeven. Such a bummer. I need to do better at risk management.
Hi Ross how can I trade US market from the UK? I saw on the Roberto travelling trader vids he meets warrior students in London so I thought there must be a better way. I can only find Charles Schwab but with a min 25k and no demo.
I gave up on the market today. Pretty impressed you were able to even make it a green day! I lost $100
What's the line in the graph a expo or simple moving average ?, and is it first second or third?
Jumped into STAF at the pre market high, got stopped out at 100
How did you know staf was peaking to 3.45, it looked really good for the first 15 seconds and then it hit some big drops
maybe Febuary will be my month lol
I had profit but accidentally placed a market order when I thought I had a limit order. I didn’t even realize until I was down $1,000 on the trade. That was a big hit to take
Ross is a legend. I can only watch what he does. It's like a great surfer surfing the huge tides. Not everyone can do it.
Ross, how did you put LULD on your montage? Thanks
I’m done with schwab , lag issues all the time, down -10k overall due to lagging execution
Ross, what is going on? you started shorting lately.
So do you do this live so we can follow?
Lost 100 on Staf…..I'm going to get Ross's system! I know I will. Just have to keep learning from him.
Mdwd 300, 100
Staf -500, +650
Gained $450
Great job Ross, thanks for posting!
