What's up everyone? Ross here from Warrior Training So I've got some exciting news for you guys. I Just set up my Etrade account. This is the account that I was using like five six years ago. I haven't used it in forever.
It had a couple dollars in account balance and so I wired money over and now I've got my Etrade account set up again And here's the reason: in the last couple weeks, Etrade has gone to zero. Commission there's no Commission on each rate orders which is incredible I have spent over a hundred and forty thousand dollars in commissions in the last two and a half years since I started my small account challenge and that's because I was using direct access brokers. Now the advantage of a direct access broker is that you get great execution speed, great execution prices, but you pay a commission for now. That never really bothered me because of course I would have been paying a commission at each rate or a merit rate or any of the other brokers, but now with those brokers going zero Commission Well the cost difference is a little bit bigger.
so I want to see for myself even if only to feel better about paying the Commission at Lightspeed I want to see with live trading recording with live footage which platform execute orders faster. So today I took my first trades on E trade and I made 1200 bucks which was awesome but my execution speed wasn't great. Now this is only day one and maybe this was just this particular day in this particular stock left a way to find out. But what would really help me is for you guys to put down below in the comments some of your tips and tricks of how to use the E Trade platform because it's been so long since I was using it I might not be really using it the right way or really maximizing on the potential of the platform.
So give me some of your tips and tricks down below in the comments and as always, if you have questions, put them down below because I personally respond to every question, post it on the channel. Now, in addition to setting up an E trade account, I have also set up and a merit trade account. So I'm going to be doing a comparison on this playlist of E Trade to Ameritrade and E Trade in the merit rate versus direct access broker. So there will be lots of great videos coming.

Etrade Pro trades at market are instantaneous for me. Is it the fill size maybe they have issue with? Anything 100-500 shares I've never had issues with.

Humans will always suck at execution speed, that’s where trading algorithms win every single time.
ETrade has hot keys now?
What platform are you using on Etrade?
For a truly professional set up go with a Bloomberg Terminal or Eikon
I heard Fidelity has decent execution speed along with TD, so right now I’m up to 2 free brokers with at least decent speed. Schwab and IB have slow execution speeds and Etrade is said to be slow along with laggy data feed. Still might try them all though lol
You should also look into Fidelity. Only zero commission broker that doesnt sell order flow and have direct access. It has the best order execution
All I do anymore is set and watch the scanner and the time watching the waves on the scanner
Looks like you can make money on quick moves with a set price to sell and buy in its like riding the waves
Ross, I wish you would do the same with trade zero, their smart routing is diabolical and a poor review maybe is a catalyst for them to improve.

How do I get there Ross.
well it seems people would use a buy in account and a sell account.
on two deferent device's to speed the trading faster.
Ross have you ever buy or sell stock on deferent accounts.
Example to speed the stock market up would have to use 2 accounts on the same stock.
a buy in and a sell account at the same time this will help you to speed up your own trade.
If it's already set up to buy or sell.
Ross are you using eTrade Pro platform?
U can also use speed keys/ hot keys for etrade power too. U just have less options as etrade pro. Go to settings top right and enable speeds keys. Ur welcome, becareful everyone
Ross I wasn't able to watch the training course I try to log in but I get 3 seconds error.
Don't have a clue why I can log in.
Hey Ross or anyone reading. In order to setup hot keys for etrade pro. U have to open a order entry ticket and then right click on that box and enable speedy key. Then manually set ur buttons to what u want them to be…. hope this helps
Does eTrade allow you to use Hot Keys?

Hey Ross! Thanks for doing this comparison… This will be super helpful… I currently trade with a direct access broker but the zero commission by the retail firms are obviously super intriguing… Can't wait to see your feedback on executions moving forward… Thanks again big Ross!
I think that this free trading does change the game and i like Lightspeed but i get the same amount of money on TD Ameritrade and its now free so yeah got to go with zero commission for me
