Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
What's up everyone? All right? Well man, the market is on fire. I'm up over $11,000 this morning. my TD Ameritrade account add another $85 a profit there. so that small cow challenge is going the big account.
a nice big green day which is exactly what I needed. The market is really strung a VAP up over 200% see PAH I made eight thousand dollars just on that stock nbe V Breaking news on it. very kind of funny breaking news but I jumped into it and rode that momentum at breaking news hit when the price was right around the dollar 98 I got in a dollar 98, squeezed up to two dollars and 34 cents. That's awesome.
I mean that's a solid 15 percent breakout and it happened in about three minutes. So today was an awesome day to be an active day trader. I traded about six, maybe seven different stocks I'm green on everything except for one stock. everything but one which is I mean I can't complain about that at all.
That is awesome. So if you have questions, comments on today's recap, make sure you leave them down there below. I'll come back through I'll answer those questions for you guys and I hope you guys get in a chat room because we are seeing a lot of opportunity, a lot of momentum and I want to make sure you guys are able to capitalize on this volatility. January is statistically one of the strongest months of the year, so get in there, start trade because start making some money and I will see you first thing.
What's up everyone? All right? So we're gonna do our midday market recap here. Go over the trades from this morning. This is gonna be a really solid day. up 11341 dollars in my main trading account plus another 84 dollars and 80 cents in my small TD Ameritrade accountant TD Ameritrade account.
Now as much progress today, the one stock I traded there was CNS P. You can see I traded it here as well I just didn't make a lot on it. didn't end up being the big breakout stock that I was thinking it would and the big winner was on CPA H but by the time that one came around I'd already taken my one trade on CNS P and I can only trade this account once every other day if I use all of my buying power which is what I did and what I've been doing. so that's kind of the way it's gonna go.
Sometimes you use your buying power on the wrong trade, but you get another opportunity, you know in two days and at least its profit. So this account is now at two thousand, five hundred fifty four dollars and sixty cents and we can break down the trade on CMS P here to start the the recap. Alright so this morning this is our Cap scanner. so I'm gonna go timeframe historical date and we'll run this for 9:20 a.m.
So at 9:20 A.m. this is the way we were looking at the market. We saw Dere as our leading gapper da Re and I'll just push this back here just so we focus on these two timeframes up a hundred percent. 13,000,000 share float six million shares of pre market volume I Looked at it and kind of thought to myself that you know it looks like it's already sort of rolling over. it's coming back down. it's below the view app right here. It just it's looking weak. Even though it's still up a hundred percent, it's looking weak versus the high earlier at 2:40 so I'm gonna leave it alone.
It didn't end up bouncing off the lows, but I didn't take any trades on it so that was their second one down 88p. The float on this one initially I thought was too high at 87 million shares, but this ended up ripping from 250 to 350 and all the way to 450 right out of the gates. So I was incorrect on this thinking that this 87 million chair float meant that it wasn't gonna make a big move. It has made a big move and it is moving again right now.
I Can pull it up here 88p so you can see a seller on the ass. 21 million shares of volume. It's pretty thickly traded, but the momentum is strong. Vrn A I've traded this a few times I Thought this looked weak pre-market and it's just been selling off since the bell rang.
Lmf a a little too cheap so no trades on that. so kind of going down the scan. you know not a lot that I was really feeling good about in the way of fresh. Gabor's mbot that ones right here you can see I made $43 on it.
nothing super exciting a Pdn let's see where is that right here I made a little bit on it so you know a little bit but the majority the profit was on CPA age and you know what setup that was. That was a continuation setup continuation of yesterday's breakout but let's look at see MSP for a second. So CN SP and this is one that was very strong. As you can see in the previous trading session yesterday and pre market had a little bit of volume.
not a lot, but a little bit. I was kind of looking like it was going to continue higher. The all-time highs on it are up here at 569 so I knew if it broke all time highs we'd be looking at a recent IPO breakout. We've got a headline this morning and so in the bell rang I Thought this looked pretty decent so I went ahead and jumped in it right here.
I got in in the 20s as it started to squeeze up I waited for it to open up I wasn't totally sure but is it started to open up I punched the buy button right around 25. it squeezes up here to 550 and right under this level. I Was watching this as a micro pullback and then looking for the break of 550. a rip through 569 all-time highs target six dollars I Ended up failing.
I stopped out in my TD Ameritrade account. I took 500 shares as you can see, made about fifteen sixteen cents per share. So I was in at twenty five ish and took my profit in the I guess early 40s as it couldn't break this half dollar. I said you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna take my profit.
It's better in this account that I'd be a little conservative, take my money off the table, then hold for the big breakout because potentially that could result in an unnecessary loss. So hey, you know what? it's a little bit of profit I'm not. It's nothing crazy crazy exciting, but it's a little something to start the week off. you know, with a winner. So that was in the TD Ameritrade small account challenge and over here in my bigger account. I made three hundred and fifty two dollars so you know again, not a home run. not at the super exciting it ended up flushing back down here and it was kind of disappointing. so that was CN SP That was the first trade to start the morning.
All right now, let's see the next trade. AP D N AP DN this one. Let's see right here. Right out of the gates.
We had a pre market high appear around 470. Actually this was the first trade I took I didn't take it in the TD Ameritrade account. this was the first trade I took in my big account and then CN SP was second I took this anticipating a break over 470, the bell rang I jumped in. it pops through for 64 65.
it doubled top sit for 70. It doesn't break that level, it comes back down I hit the bid now I jumped in almost as soon as the bell rang because I really thought this setup looked decent for a break over for 70. Knowing that we had a catalyst and the daily chart showed a room from 517 to 580 and then above 580 all the way up here to this 200 moving average of 1344. So and this is stock as you can see, that's a former runner.
Unfortunately, it couldn't break that level, so a little disappointing there, but at least a little bit of profit on the day. So after a Pdn and see, NSP I was up about 900 dollars combined. Alright, so that was how I started the morning with my first two trades and you know it wasn't maybe as big of a winner as I was hoping it would be, but it was. you know, at least something.
CPA H was the next one now. CPA H After the bell rang, it started to squeeze up up here to 450, pulled back up to 480, pulled back up towards 4 94, 95 I Jumped in at 495 and 499 for the break over 5. We got a squeeze here up to 523 I added back at 5:20 we got a pop up to 540 and then a little pullback. first.
one minute pullback to make a new high I'm back in riding momentum up to 570. So right in here. This trade I ended up making about 2500 bucks which put me up $3,300 on the day. Awesome! Super happy with that and that's right here at about 9 41.
So 10 minutes in the day I'm over the daily goal. Terrific! That's great. It ends up doing a pullback here and as you can see it comes all the way back down below view. AB and then as it starts to curl up I Thought to myself this is a stock that I want to get back into.
Let's look for a point of reference back here yesterday. Okay so yesterday it opens up, it pulls back, it drops back below view app and then what does it do? It rips back up and ends up squeezing all the way up here. So this morning as it broke below view app I was looking at and I was thinking this I was thinking myself that this still has more potential I don't think it's done yet. so let me pull up my recording of this hang on one second. today was the 13th. Okay, so I want to show you this trade. This is a pretty good one and just get it lined up here. Okay, alright so right here as you can see, it's starting to curl up.
Alright, it's starting to curl up. It's breaking through the View app and I'm in this with 13,000 shares. All right. I've stepped up to the plate here with a bigger position.
We've got seven point four million shares of volume and I'm looking for this to rip through the half-dollar So right here at five forty, we've got 20,000 shares seller now 20,000 shares seller near hi of day. That'll sometimes make me a little nervous and I was a little unsure about whether or not this was gonna be a problem. Now if we back up here and let's see, where is this? So I've added as it broke through the View app, this is where I added I've got an average of 519 and then I add on this one-minute pull back right here. That's the one minute pullback.
Now we've got 540 but I'm thinking that it's gonna break that level-5 5560 Target as high a day. So let's watch this for a second. there's 20 I add so see how I see what I did there? I actually added at 40 I thought it was gonna break that level right away. so I added if it had broken that level and ripped right to 555 60.
That would have been a great trade, but it didn't So now I've got to unwind the position because I'm in pretty heavy. so I unwind a little bit of the position. Now there's 45 just that quickly. I end up adding back sometimes when I'm trading aggressively, my bias will switch that quickly from selling to adding back.
I'm looking for this to break over the half dollar I put out a sell order, take a little profit. There's that break there we go. There's 50 putting out orders to take some profit, and now we're coming back up to a double top at high a day. So that ended up being a really a really clean trade.
I mean a break of? um, that's it was a solid break of e whap and the one minute micro pullback ended up working out pretty well. So that put me up 6000 on the day. The next trade on this and you can see a da P is coming back up. So then it does a little one minute pullback through this area.
So let me let's see where was this. Okay, yeah, so let me pull this back up. So we get a little pullback here and I take a starter and then I add to it here at 24. All right.
So now I've got 10,000 shares. We've got this one minute pullback. You've got 8.4 million shares of volume on this stock. This is a very, very thickly traded stock.
It's up 35% I'm looking for it on this 5-minute pullback for the first 5-minute candle to make a new high. I Just added now I've got 13,000 shares at 5:27 Look at that 572 on the bid. That is a picture-perfect breakout. buying the dip after the pullback, adding on the break of highs and then capturing on the break of high from 38 to 40 and extra 30 cents. That's why I add a high of day because this right here. Sure. I added an extra three thousand shares at roughly 39 40, but that added an extra thousand dollars of profit onto this trade. I took a little bit of profit off of the table here and going into the Hulk's I was like I've got a lot of profit and I also wasn't sure that this actually would halt.
so at this point I've only taken off 1100 shares I ended up taking off the rest of it and getting myself here up over $11,000 on the day. So a couple of really solid trades there on see PAH I Was very happy with that. That was a very clean one. and then let's see the last one and let's see where is this? This was kind of a funny one.
nbe V So nbe V There's news that comes out and I'll just log into the chat room so I can grab it all right? So let's see. Um so this was quite a bit earlier. What time was this warrior? Pro: Small cap All right. Hang on one second.
All right. So this is our chat room here. so let me what was the time of this tray? This was 1055. All right.
So we're gonna scroll up here: 1055 So we're looking for a post by the news desk right here. So News Desk and BB Kendall Jenner's Kendall Jenner's diet includes new-age beverages brand. She told Emus that she drinks this to start her day every morning. All right.
So that resulted. That tweet by the company resulted in 3 million shares of volume coming into the stock is a spike from a dollar 70 up to 235. The stock takes off alright. so I ended up jumping in it and let's see as it's breaking over to I jump in I've got nine thousand shares and I'm just kind of riding this momentum at this point.
So 222 223 This is a breaking news trade I Jumped in it with an initial stop at a dollar ninety. so risking 9 cents I added at 98 99 and 206 as it's squeezing up here to 218 219 I take a little profit I wasn't totally I was like oh, this might come back down. Sometimes these news trades don't end up working super well. So I took a little profit off the table.
probably should have done it up in the this area 1819, but took a little profit off the table. If then it's gonna rip through 19. go to 20, 32, 33, 30 for just like that I've got another thousand dollars of open P&L I Put an order out to take a little more profit up in this area and this puts me up back to over eleven thousand on the day which was awesome. A really solid trade here.
So this was breaking news. just jumping in with 10 cents top and riding that momentum as long as I could. So some nice action today. you know across the board I'm you know I didn't do as well as I maybe wish I had in my account right here but that sometimes the way it goes so that's fine.
This big account 11341 dollars a profit is great. My retirement account I traded in today and I lost eleven hundred bucks I took a trade on me on the first trade and I took a trade on CPA age where I lost 1,400 that was the last trade I took and I was at a point where I was like alright I've made some good money my main account today. Maybe I shift gears and focus on the small account or the the retirement account you know? but I didn't have a cushion I took a little too much sighs and ended up getting stopped out. So that's the way it goes, but still a ten thousand dollar green day. That's a terrific way to start the week. you know? Think about it. even if you had a day like this just once a month, I'd be 120 thousand dollars a year. So if you were able to kind of be disciplined enough to sit on your hands during the choppy markets and then be aggressive when things start to open up, you can do.
You can certainly do really well with that approach. I Take the approach of trading every day I trade through choppy markets I do sometimes get chopped out a little bit, but you know, and right now I am taking myself out a little bit from some read trades last week in the big account, but you know it's keeps me fresh. It keeps me kind of in the market, actively engaged and knowing what's happening. And it it's fine.
So anyways, that's where I'm sitting right now. 11341 dollars in my main Lightspeed account. It's a really solid day. Let me back at it first thing tomorrow morning.
Alright, so I'll see you guys on hey, did you know that I Go live every single morning between 9:00 and 9:15 to stream my pre market watch list. subscribe the channel, press the bell to the alert and you'll get the notification.
Were you using hotkeys to sell your CPAH position? Also, how much in quantity were you selling at a time?
Hello Ross! Small question, why do you always keep reversal scanners on your screens when you rarely trade reversals? How does having a reversal scanner helps with your trading?
Thank you!
Nice, thanks

Hi Ross newbie here!! trying to understand what happened to ADAP on 1/13 why trading volume suddenly peaked ?

Super nice trading Ross. I was out of trades yesterday so a lot of sitting on my hands. Was still fun to watch.
I liked the CPAH trades taken by Ross.
Ross, when you initially started your small account challenge in December, when buying stocks, did you buy using a percentage of your account or by buying numbers of stocks??? Ie hot keys set to 90% of account or hot keys set up for monetary values eg $400 from your account?
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers
Well done! Things looking good so far.
I didn't have any day trades left,and I watched ADAP climb 200% in 10 min…
If I buy 3 stocks today and sell them tomorrow, will I be able to trade more stocks the next day according to PDT rule?

Is this possible with Forex ?
Awesome trades Ross. When you say that you’re taking profit, what type of sell order do you usually out out? 1/4 of the position that you have or a certain number of shares?
Watching you trade live and seeing the breakdown and explanation of your trades really reinforces the mindset, methods and techniques that you teach in your courses, Thank you!!!…
I was green too then I ran out of trading days
How do you get into the chatroom?
