Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
What's that? everyone? All right? Well, another wild day in the market. Overall, Market down. We had a 7% 15 minute long market wide circuit breaker halt this morning. I had two trades before the actually three trades before the halt and I was down about four hundred dollars and then up four hundred going right into the hall on a trade on VIX Volatility Index VXX Then Mark is halted for 15 minutes.
I come out of that hall and boom. a couple of really nice trades all the way up to five thousand dollars of profit and then a $500 loss. A fifteen hundred dollar loss of only three grand and that's where we stopped. Did the recap: throw into the towel? Alright, so as always questions, comments, leave them right down below.
I'll see you guys first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully we have another green day. The markets continue to be volatile, but I am finding opportunities so that's what it's all about. Volatility equals opportunity.
All right you guys. So we're gonna go over the traits from this morning. I'm up three thousand dollars the markets down while sixteen hundred points right now was down seventeen hundred just a second ago. but I found my way to some profit today and I was actually up about five thousand and then I started to give a little back and so this is where I'm throwing in the towel: I gave back profit on SP CB $1400 and I gave back about five hundred on POA I So those are the two I gave back some profit on.
But overall, today was a pretty solid day. Now the context of today was that the overall market was gapping down substantially. in fact, just about six and a half percent. Shortly after the bell rang, the market started initially to rebound and as it was rebounding, I took a trade long on POA I and I made eleven hundred dollars.
That was so that was right on POA I which by the way was our leading gap or this morning gapping up forty nine percent. So that was my first trade out of the gates. That was long right here as it started to pop up for the break over five three fifty, it squeezed up to three eighty five, I was up eleven hundred dollars. Then it does a little pullback right here and I added for the break over for it double top or tapped 90 and then faded and I ended up giving back my profit and being down five hundred dollars on the stock.
So I was down five hundred. Little disappointed and at that point the markets started to roll over. So I got into the VIX I bought VIX as it started to squeeze up right here and on that trade. That first trade I made about four hundred dollars.
So let me show you my trades here just because today was sort of particularly interesting. So this is this is the open, the POA trade whatever Naz exciting, but the VIX trade a little more interesting the first trade on so that was POA one POA - that was the loser on POA I and then I have my trade on VIX So this is the VIX right here. So I bought VIX at Forty Five twelve and this was while the market was dropping. So I'm watching to see if the markets gonna break below seven percent. So VIX pops up here eighteen twenty and I I see the market and what I ended up doing was taking my profit off the table up here at about Forty Five Twenty five I did not want to hold into a market wide circuit breaker Hall which I knew what happened when this dropped down more than seven percent. so I took my profit there. The market ends up halting. Everything is halted.
The entire market is halted for fifteen minutes. So I got fast forward 15 minutes on resumption right about here. I'm gonna be watching VIX So here's resumption. We're down 7.3 percent right now in the market.
The Dow is down 1700 points I'm watching the VIX I put an order for a thousand shares I move my order up I'm gonna move it up to 46 dollars I'm watching right here I put my hand on the Bible I'm hesitating for a second at this point I Kind of feel like I'm waiting for the right entry and I don't get filled except for five shares at Forty six. So now I'm like oh man, oh look at this 46 2546 20 on the bid Son of a gun! Alright, well what should I do should I get in here or is that chasing it? So it ends up popping up a little bit more now I'm up. you know, 60 cents a share, 70 cents a share, 80 cents a share. So now I move my order up and I'm thinking okay, the market is tanking so what I'm gonna do on this is I'm gonna add for the break over 47 and I didn't up to update my chart soon enough because I was also sort of watching POA I so I end up adding right there.
This is a quick breakout trade: I Know that I'm in high, but I'm looking for that break over 47. So just as this happens, the SP right here is down 8.3 6% I take a little profit off the table, the market starts to bounce, is down only eight point two, four percent. So now the market is bouncing up and I'm thinking uh-oh maybe I'm in too high. So I take a little off the table here and then we're down only eight point two, eight point one nine, eight point two.
This is still going up though so I'm like alright, well I'll just hold this position I guess while this continues to go up now, we're eight point four, eight point five percent down, Eight point five Six percent Eight point Five seven I'm like, alright now I'm in the driver's seat I'm up over a dollar a share. Almost a dollar a share obviously had I held the whole thing. You know, whatever. But now we're down eight point seven percent.
and now I've updated the Vics chart. So this is the chart right here. Forty eight. Oh my gosh, we're coming up to nine percent.
Eight Point Eight Seven and I'm just like alright I'm in the driver's seat I'm up 1100-1200 coming and that's on only 700 chairs. So again, this is high-risk stuff trying to trade the market like this, but on this one it works pretty well. so we're squeezing up right here. There hasn't even been a real pullback, so I got in high. My entry wasn't that great, but I'm just kind of riding this momentum now. We're starting to top out a little bit as you can see and we're pulling back so there I take my profit off the table and I actually you know I didn't I could have if I had sell I didn't sell at the very top but I kind of just said, you know I'm just gonna hold this and let it ride and let's see what it does. So that was a $1700 trade on the VIX so that was. that was a really solid one.
Then what we started to see, we're bottom bounces. We had Ino which halted going down. Alright, so it halted going down right here and then off the lows it bounced up. now on this one I was I wasn't totally sure I traded I know a few times I haven't done especially well on it so let's see at this point here we go.
Alright so I know this is the stock right here and there's this is it's It's still green on the day, but this is where I took my tray. Alright so we have this sell-off and I see the current price is 898 by nine dollars. So I'm looking for the break of nine I'm in with 2000 shares and I'm I'm a little worried that it might do a false breakout but I see a fifty thousand share buyer right there. so I'm like okay, this should be good but then I'm like uh-oh 50,000 shares seller on the other side that's not good and I know this stock can drop 50 cents like that.
Nice job Jessica on that hundred bucks. Good work. Ten percent growth in an eleven hundred dollar account. So I'm like you know what? I better take some, take my money out and then look at this blast all of a sudden.
Is it 925 and I'm like God dang I Sold Two Soon I Sold Way too soon. 9:39 forty on Believable. Look at that bounce. My charts are lagging.
We were having some data issues today because everything that was happening. The market. Nine Forty Seven Nine Nine Forty Nine 950 950 Four 960 What a bottom bounce! Really nice. It bounced all the way up to $10.00 Okay, so I sold too soon on that one.
Next one up I'm not gonna sell too soon. Next one up Co DX Co DX Also halted going down. Very similar setup. It comes back up on resumption.
There's Ino up at 10. so Co DX is right here on the on this level too. Alright, so Co DX right here at 13. I'm like alright, I'm in I'm in at 13.
but now I'm down two hundred twenty-eight dollars. So I'm like uh-oh is this gonna break 13? Its kind of having a hard time here. so I'm like we'll give it a second 96 uh-oh 70 on the bid. That's six hundred forty two in the red and I'm like, all right I I might have to bail out on this I I was I was like all right, let's let's give this a second.
let's see what it does. I might be a little early now I Feel good that I'm in I've got a pretty good entry generally speaking, but I don't want to let it go too far against me. Thirty cents on $12 stock? 40 cents? Okay, 50 cents? I'd be a little too much. All right. come on back over 13. Let's let's break 13. There we go: 13:09 Okay, 13 16 better, better 13, 14, 13 14. Yeah, a little bit of a spread so this is what I don't like 13:03 by 13 14 I'm only up 5 cents on the bid.
so I throw a little up on the ask, try to take a little profit off the table. there's my order. so I take a little off the table just to be safe and now it's looking a little better. 13 12 by 13 16 So I'm like alright, let's let this, let's see what this does I wanna see it over there we go 13 27 1330 Not as clean of a bounce as Ino but not bad.
you know, not too bad. so ended up making a little bit of money on that one. you know, $400 and then the next one is apt. say him.
setup halted. going down, looking for the bounce coming back up. Alright, so apt. I'm gonna update my chart here to 8 HP I was gonna be the fourth one, but apt is gonna be the third one.
so we're gonna update to apt. Got fast forward a little bit. Okay, so this one nailed. Boom Boom Boom! I'm in right there at 77 500 shares going all smaller on size.
Instant bounce. Look at that. 13:44 on the ask 1350 Nice. So that was a solid bounce and this one ended up coming all the way back up towards 14 and eventually a 15.
So nice trade there and now we've got a HP I HP I I Wanted it was halted at 12 71. so I have my order at 13 to buy I'm looking for resumption. It's gonna resume in just a second here. no fill.
My order didn't fill would have been nice if it had at 13, but it didn't fill so it squeezed up to 14. Made a nice move but I didn't fill so at that point I was up 2600 on the day. I ended up eventually getting a little bit more profit on POA I as it did a five-minute setup and broke through one sorry 390 right here. this was a nice break out.
This is where I made back my money right there. but then I gave back a little profit trying to trade it through this area. So unfortunately I didn't keep it all in my pocket. So anyways, $3,000 Green Day is not bad.
Spc B was the losing trade of the day I bought I had two trades, one was right here on resumption from this hall the the first time it finally dipped down I jumped in so I got in right here was up 10 cents looking for the break over dollar 50 and then it failed. stopped out for a 100 dollar loss and then I got back in right here for the break over 125 and got stopped out. Let's see what PST is doing. popping up a little bit kind of turnaround story so maybe want to keep an eye on but that's it for me.
$3,000 Green Day Had a nice green day yesterday so you know markets markets down. I'm green I Feel good about that so be back at it tomorrow. We'll finish off this week, hopefully with one more. I'm having trouble keeping trace of how you quickly execute sell orders ? Is there a video of yours where you go in more detail with that?
Or is it simple combination of hotkeys or whatever. Thanks! 🙂
Hello Again,
Anyone can comment on this too 🙂 Looking for help.
I just wanted to say love your videos. I have been really into the day trading for beginner playlist since I am starting at 500$, so watching the challenge is really cool. I want to learn this thoroughly and correctly and practice before jumping in. I really do like your mentality and strategy. As i currently can't afford your course I was wondering if you have any other recommendations on where to start. I don't really want to be all over the place searching the internet for this stuff and would like a streamlined way of learning. I may be asking too much but I just wanted your opinion since I would like to start straight away.
I know i can make this happen and I'm happy to be patient. Any tips or recommendations would be great. Thanks 🙂
Tos platform got me good. Market ord in but bounced. All over finaly bought. Went up to $ 2k hit flatten now to get out but no fill bounced all over and went down sold at — $ 2 k ouch
what is the bottom indicator that ross have been using latley?
Let's get this channel big bro! Nice content!
I gave back profits on POAI. Fakeout at 4.0. Frustrating.
Hey ross, trade ideas cost money right? Do you know another platform to select the right stocks? And do you share with stocks you are trading at the moment? (Thx for what your doing)
Hey Ross, just wanted to mention that you are a true inspiration! I've learned so much from your videos and have finally been starting to day trade, part time for now, hoping to be full time one day. Today was pretty awfull though lol, overtrading and too emotional. Nonetheless, I've had good days up until now and want to thank you for all that you have provided in my learning curve 🙏
Trade Coronavirus.
So I've heard stocks like VXX are the polar opposite of sorts of the S&P 500, when the 500 goes down VXX goes up and vis versa. Is this true because its a short seller of teh S&P500?
Just at work atm, 1hour to go. Can you do a "new challenge" where you only trade Pre market?
love when you should recap like this with trading video!
You trade large cap stocks on the SP 500?
Let it ride, no pop and drop!
Nice trades in a scary market!
Do you think getting a loan or buying on margin is a good idea during this economic climate? Feels like I haven’t seen opportunities like this since 2008.
I’m new to day trading although I got into index funds in 2008 and made good profits slowly. I feel like day trading in 2008 would have yielded better returns so don’t want to miss out on these rare opportunities.
Held some apple last night expecting the market to tank and I woke up to 100 bucks 10% of my account
“Volatility equals opportunity” -🐐. love it!! Great day today
Made my first stock trade ever today. Bought into MRO at 3.80 and out at 4.05.
Got greedy ! broke warrior pro rules, lost money in the end with SPCB. Was my first day on sim 🙁
👍 👌 ✌️ 👏 YES!! Volatility = Opportunity!!! Absolutely!!! … I traded POAI – and ORGO as well today…Only 2X each… Not a real Big day – But still ~ I'm up ⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️ more than down ⬇️ … 🤟 👍
I’m trying to find the video where you were showing a tablet monitor but it fell and the usb broke
Wow Ross, good job!!! You give me hope, things were really bad out there.
I see you got the wipes back there 😏
Ross, how did you know ahead of time with regards to the market getting halted?
How much are you risking per trade? When I start trading real $$$ thinking of risking 100$ per trade?
Nice master !! You are really a profesional trader !!! No like a lot of bs out there !! Congratulations!! 💪🏻💥👍🏻
