Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

All right. So here we are: Friday Morning No trades yet for me today. Uh, those of you guys tuning in on YouTube for The Morning Show you'll be able to see my P. L right up here in the top.

Corner If I take any trades, it's right there. Uh, so no positions in that window right now. Haven't taken any trades yet. It's a Friday before a long weekend.

Markets closed on Monday Friday Before a long weekend isn't the optimal time for companies to put out breaking news. So I'm not. You know it's this is a day to put out bad news and hope it gets buried over the long weekend. so you know.

I I'm not sure that we're going to see a lot of good news catalysts today. we could still see a technical breakout. Catalyst You know, a stock that has a a daily chart where we're looking for first daily chart. first daily candle to make a new high or something like that? So there there are some possibilities for today.

I Saw adrt made a move a little bit earlier. so this one has four candles on The Daily that have big topping tails, you know? So that obviously shows us that this is a stock that likes to pop up. it likes to reverse. where's my what's going on here? Um, so given that it has this pattern of popping up and reversing, uh, I I Wasn't super inclined to try to trade it I just felt like it's not super trustworthy.

I Didn't see news on it so you know it goes from 12 to 22. but notice the volume is highest on the red candle, it comes back down. So anyway so that there are some people that trade that already today and made some money uh I'm I'm not one of those people. but you know again I didn't feel like I could really trust it when we were talking yesterday or maybe the day before when I was doing my anatomy of a trade on Wetg I was talking about the criteria that I look for to decide whether or not something is worth trading and obviously one of those criteria that I prefer is a clear catalyst.

Uh, you know so this one doesn't have a super clear Catalyst Okay, so leading gapper right now is I am Ppv. um I wasn't able to pull up the float on this one on bam sec so it's a somewhat. it's a recent IPO as we can see either that or was a symbol change but doesn't have any chart history. went up to four bucks pre-market it goes up to a high of 1340.

um, light speed shows the shares outstanding. At 13 million, that's a little different than float, but uh, but it's a pretty small number. So this one's our leading gapper right now. Uh, let's see Imperial Petroleum Yeah, not a lot of information on the stock.

Um, it's part of a dividend I Am P p minus save Interesting. Okay, so that's helpful. That's good to know so probably we'll disregard this one. Look down to the next one which is S P C E.

This is a stock that has a higher flow 230 million shares, so I'm gonna disregard that one as well. Next one down is Surf S-u-r-f at 99 Cents that one is too cheap for me. I'm going to disregard that one as well. The price is fine.
Floats 2 million shares. it is a former Momo stock had this really big candle here which was recent IPO breakout recent IPO breakout surges up. Had the IPO sells off a bit, it starts to curl back up. Kind of an interesting pattern with like eight green red days in a row and then like five green days and then news and then it squeezes.

So anyways, today I hit a high 350 so far A little over 350. Um, let's see, it's only up 25 percent, which as far as I'm concerned, is a relatively small Gap Hmm, uh Kuala Lumpur Okay, Business strategy Consulting Technology Consulting and others I don't know about that business model In terms of okay, there you go. there's the AI Yep, right? So they've got the AI Catalyst headline I I Sort of think that, uh, the chart on it. It's already pulling back too much double top rejection.

so I don't think so. All right. So some of these companies are getting a little desperate with the AI headlines, but we, you know we saw this during Covid too. We see it all the time.

The small cap companies just jump on whatever buzzword bandwagon? Um, there is. So yeah. So for right now, um I don't I don't see anything. Um, super super interesting.

so we've got about 22 minutes to the opening bell. let's see. Hmm, that's interesting CEO of Kroger mentioned AI eight times on the company's earnings call from Bloomberg All right, he's just using those buzzwords. Um, yesterday I traded two stocks and I think I was up Thirteen hundred dollars or fourteen hundred dollars I didn't trade that much.

um I we had. We did have that move on Edtx or whatever it was, which was kind of, you know, sort of tricky I didn't realize it made another move later in the day. So yeah. so I I traded it in.

This move here going into the open went from 20 all the way up to 32 dollars a share and then it pulled back and then it looks like, uh, in the afternoon it squeezed up again up to 40. so you know it's a wild card stock right now. it's at um 31. so that's one you could keep an eye on.

If it started to open up, could jump on the momentum. But I imagine the spreads are bigger, volume is light so anything that I'm missing. So for those of you guys on YouTube I had mentioned um I'll be around next week I'll be in my office here, but then the week after. So actually a week from today in the later part of the day, I'm gonna fly to Italy and then I'll be there for the rest of June and July.

So yeah, so you know the internet is sometimes hit or miss in Italy so I'm not sure if it's going to be. uh, you know I Always make sure to prioritize streaming to my students at Warrior trading, but running two streams one to YouTube and one to uh Warriors is not always possible. So I may be intermittently streaming on YouTube through the rest of uh June and July Yeah, my laptop screen is not 4K it's I mean it's just a regular uh, 15 inch laptop fits in my carry-on and um, you know it's this is what the screen looks like that's my, that's my execution screen so that's where I can execute the orders right here. so I keep that it's it's the same size as same resolution as the screen that's on screen share.
so I have that down here and then I have one monitor above which is my scanners and the chart that I'm primarily trading and then I have um one just a bit higher up. one more monitor up that's for that has two stocks, four four windows for each stock. so that's this, this one here. So right now and for quite a while, I've been using just three monitors for trading and then these monitors over here have YouTube and a video that I'm editing from the trip to Colorado and like email and stuff like that Now this monitor is connected with HDMI and also DVI so I can change the input on it so the input it has two inputs connected.

one of them is to this computer which can set up a third or a fourth trading Monitor and the other one is for this computer which right now has my um video editing. but so I sometimes will will switch that monitor depending like if I had. If we had a day where there was a lot going on, then I'll use this monitor for trading and then I'll have four in total. But right now this week and just recently I haven't felt like I needed to.

It depends foreign. So I looked at Dfli um, this one popped up a little bit ago. I Didn't think the daily chart looked that interesting. You know it already kind of made a move and pre-market yesterday and then sold off.

So why would it go today? It tried yesterday and it couldn't do it. So I don't think it's going to work today. So um, if you want So so okay, so yes to answer a question about the charts, go into the support room and they can walk you through setting up your charts. Some of our older members who were members before we launched charts.

you may not have enabled them on your platform yet. So if you already have access to scanners and you're a older member, you've been here for a while. Then we had said you could use charts for one month as a free promo to test it out. but that's only if you already have scanners because one of the things that we do is if you're paying for the market data for the scanners, then we use that same Market data for the charts.

One of the problems that I had when I used to subscribe to four different platforms is that essentially each one of those platforms was charging me market data. So I was paying Market data. It was inefficient use of my money because each one of them, if they're giving me market data, has to charge me market data. So the exchange was actually is this kind of interesting.

The Exchange probably gets Market data like if there's 10 000 Traders just as a but whatever like number, they're probably actually getting Market data for like 20 000 Traders because of the number of people that double up their data by using multiple services. so it's a it's a good deal for them I guess. But um anyway, so we have. we have Market data through the scanners.
Uh, and so that's what we use to build out the charts. but we also have a separate Market data vendor for the simulator we had at one point started as prop. this project of building out our own simulator and using the same Market data for scanners charts Simulator for everything but I sort of. The problem with that was, um, that felt too much like Reinventing the wheel because if I feel like it's important to Sim trade in the same platform that you're going to use with real money.

So then that would require me either to mimic a platform that already exists which is like that takes a lot of time and money and that's not very creative. Why do that? Uh, or just encourage you to use one of the platforms that do already exist because then you can use that with real money. So anyways that, that's one area that's not as efficient. but but it's for a reason that I think makes sense.

So anyways, we've got about 13 minutes to the opening bell. As expected, it's the Friday Going into a long weekend, we don't have much going on in the way of fresh news catalysts. Um, I'm just hoping that we do see something that pops up within the next hour. but I don't know.

Evlo? Yeah, see I don't I don't look at these lower priced stocks. but I See, it's up 300 percent with 40 million shares of volume. So 40 million shares of volume. Though at 30 cents, it's not a lot of dollar volume, right? So 12 million dollars of volume? So it's It's not a lot of volume, in terms of dollar.

but anyways, yeah. I See that one? That one's not going to be for me. Foreign. So we did.

uh, finding a couple of Trades yesterday for Warrior Pro members. so hopefully we find a couple today as well. Foreign Dollar volume is sort of about perspective a little bit. Uh, by the way YouTube Um, check out the anatomy of a trade on Wet G If you haven't checked out that video already, I'll just put the link there for you guys to watch it.

Um, in that episode, I kind of slowed down and walked you through the trades that I took on that one so you might find that interesting. And that overall markup this week has been strong. One, two, three, four, five days. Um, and all of a sudden I had this line at Uh 440 260.

and you know, I wasn't expecting that we would come up to it yesterday, but we've come up to it. So then what's the next pivot on? uh, the daily? So the next pivot? let's see 450 and then all-time high 470.. So you could say there's a little pivot here, but we're We're basically two pivots away from the market being back at all-time highs. Although you know on the flip side, you're you know? Uh, not that far.

We're pretty extended off the 200 moving average, so a retrace to 200 wouldn't be unexpected either. This is the blue ascending support line so we're pretty extended up here. We're due for a pullback, but it just gives you some perspective about the market. Yeah, I mean you have to trade The Price Action: I've I've heard about people who have been losing millions of dollars trying to short the market and you know it's like trade the Price action.
It's the same with shorting a parabolic stock. The Stock's going straight up and you're shorting it and then you blow out your account or lose half a million dollars or whatever it is. It's like, well, you know, price action. I I'm very cautious about buying something that is just selling off.

Okay, actually, in fact, my biggest loss. um, it wasn't When was that, um, it was the biggest loss that I took I think last year it was, uh, trying to buy a stock that was selling off for a reversal and that thing just kept going lower. It was crazy and it's like, you know what I should I mean It would have been so much easier just to short and ride the momentum since the momentum was going down than to try to guess the reversal. So I don't know if that's just my two cents.

I Think it's just easier to Trend trade, find the trend, and then jump on that trend. Trying to predict reversals is tough and by the time you have confirmation reversal often it can be such a whip. from the very top to the confirmation that you're in way off the high or the low and then you're still like oh man. I Don't know if this is a good spot, the risk is high because then you can get a retest of the high.

Could could be a double top, which you know a double top is a safer place to establish risk against or a double bottom, but you don't always get that. Sometimes they just whip, they rubber band, they go all the way out and they come all the way back in. So anyways, I think it's easier to Trend trade. Not to say that trading is easy, but I think between the two strategies I think it's easier.

Okay, so um, so we've got about five minutes to the opening bell. um I I Don't expect to take any trades in the next five minutes. Right now, things are, um, slow. H-o-l-o hit the scanner, but nothing there.

overall Market We'll see what it does today. Uh, we just broke through the high from yesterday so we're getting some momentum here. Going into the long weekend, that's gonna, um so we'll see. We'll see where it closes today, and that'll be really the question where the overall market closes today.

All right. So um I think that'll be it for me for the morning show I'll be back at it. uh first thing Tuesday morning reminder: As always, trading is risky. My results aren't typical trading the simulator before you put real money on the line and don't try to blindly follow me or anyone else.

Manage your risk and take it slow and I'll see you guys on Tuesday Markets closed on Monday Warrior Pro Members We're gonna keep Trading.
