Hey This is Tom Nash And here's a quick video about what just happened in Finland and NATO. So, Finland is now a part of NATO for intents and purposes! 80 years of attempts are now finally bearing fruit. Finland is jumping in. And here's the bottom line because I value your time I Want to give in the bottom line first if you don't have time to watch the entire video.

So here it is: look: Finland Joining NATO is a huge trophy for NATO And this is not only a dream come true, it's actually a nightmare for Vladimir Putin The whole reason Putin went to war in Ukraine because he was trying to eliminate more NATO borders on his back porch. but now by Finland joining by Finland just Finland loan the Russian border with NATO has just doubled. It just added 800 kilometers of massive Warriors Not good news for Putin for multiple reasons which I will explain in this video. But as always this was just the bottom line.

In case you just need that, you're free to go. but I urge you to stay for the next five to ten minutes because I'm about to blow your mind about the behind the scenes stuff. This is absolutely insane. Before I do the only thing I want you to do is think and listen for yourself and actually think about this.

Don't take my opinion, Don't take anybody else's opinion. Just think and also do not click nothing. Don't smash nothing. Don't buy nothing.

I Don't care about this stuff. Let's just talk and kind of communicate about what what's going on because I want to develop individual, independent, interdependent thought. Here's what's happening. So ever since World War II there was a status quo.

so Finland actually went to war with Russia. Not a lot of people remember this before. World War II Russia Went to war with Finland in the middle of the winter. they got schooled.

If you know the videos by the professor playing basketball, that's why they called the professor same thing. Finland took Russia to the wood shed. The kill death ratio was anywhere from 30 to 50 Russian soldiers for each Finnish soldier that died but this happened before World War II Russia Eventually had to settle Finland had to settle Finland Could not win this war by its sheer size or lack thereof. They knew it's a matter of time before they ran out of people and Russia just has an endless supply of bodies, etc etc.

So they struck a deal. The deal wasn't really good for anybody, but that was it. But everybody who's anybody will tell you that Finland beat Russia in that war and still it actually benefited Russia a lot because they learned their lesson, they took their ills and they implemented a lot of the stuff they learned in the Finland War during the war against the Germans and that would help them during the harsh Winters against the Germans. If you remember, there's a famous battle where the Germans got absolutely snowed in and the Russians won in the winter.

Now that's long history, but ever since that moment, Finland has never stepped foot into NATO, They've always been neutral. They never wanted to be a part of NATO They didn't want to piss anybody off. They want to be friends with the U.S with Germany with the West they want to be friends with Russia and they kept that status quo up until now. And Putin enjoyed this.
Finland was free to do whatever they want. but the minute Putin stepped foot in Ukraine everything changed. You have to understand. Ask anybody.

from Finland Before the war with Ukraine most Finnish people did not express the desire to join. NATO There were numerous polls referendums in Finland and Finnish. People have consistently said they do not want to join NATO. That is, of course, until Putin invaded Ukraine and all bets were off and now the idea of oh, we're going to want to piss off Putin It's long long gone because we've just seen what he's capable of.

He'll just take over whatever he thinks he needs. So now that status quo has been broken and Finland is more afraid than putting actually attacking them than pissing off Putin because he's unpredictable, he's dangerous, etc. etc. et cetera.

So Finland the entire public opinion in Finland changed due to the Ukraine war and now they won't end. Now it's not good news for Putin. We'll talk about that in a second and his miscalculations. But the main obstacle.

So you might ask yourself, why did they take Finland a whole year to join? Because the worst out of the year ago? Well, that is because one of the strongest members of NATO is actually Turkey. Turkey is the second biggest military force in NATO believe it or not, and geographically speaking, they're sitting in a very, very important position. The nade organization relies have heavily on Turkey. It's a big member.

It has veto on any country wanting to join and veto they did. So Turkey basically said, no, we do not accept Finland We do not accept Sweden They can jump through hoops. We don't want them. Why? Because a lot of oppositioners to the Turkish president their Egypt Erdogan whatever the his name is.

But let's just call them erdum. So a lot of Erdos oppositioners has basically been asylumed and accredited as diplomats in Sweden and Finland. Which means they're getting budgets. They're getting cars, security, political diplomatic accreditations.

They're basically treated like diplomats from foreign countries. the Pkk, the Kurdish resistance. A lot of the oppositioners of the Erdogan sorry government are basically being pampered in Sweden and Finland And obviously Turkey does not like that. So Turkey basically said, you guys want to join NATO No problem, give up.

These guys send them back our way. We're going to take care of them. So so so far basically Sweden said no, we're not going to do that Finland I Think based on what just happened, finally caved so we will find out exactly what Finland gave to Erdogan and his government. But they definitely did something.
I think in some sort of a compromise where the accreditations and all the money and the budgets and everything was taking away from these oppositioners. but they will let them stay physically in Finland Being broke and jobless and moneyless and budgetless. I Think that's the compromise they worked out with so nobody's going to get killed and executed. But also they stopped getting the Pampers and all the food and money from The Finnish government.

So I think that's the the deal they've set up. Why? Specifically Now? Well, because Erdogan and his government are under pressure now to get this deal done. Erdogan is facing elections in about a month now. He faces elections on top of an earthquake that shattered his country into pieces economy that's in the toilet massive 80 inflation which he caused by refusing to raise interest rates because it's against Islam to actually charge higher interest.

And you know this whole whole thing. He had this massive populistic decisions where he would not raise interest, the economy went to the toilet. So his entire kind of claim to fame for him to get reelected is this: Foreign Affairs ship. He has to get some sort of a clout from Finland and from Sweden to show his people that he actually did something for the Turkish people.

so he has to get a deal done before May which is why I think on the one hand, Finland is really anxious to get in Turkish are also really anxious to get the deal done before the election. so that's why I think they've set up a deal now. Also, this probably means that Swedish are on the brink of a deal as well. They will give Erdogan stopping because they want to join and he also is running out of time because this whole thing only works until the elections.

After that, he couldn't care less I mean not care less but not care as much. So this is why it's happening right now and this: I think it's almost inevitable that Sweden is next. given what I just told you they will figure out some sort of a deal where you know these guys were basically you know, left there in peace. but basically all the stuff were lifted, the cars, the budgets, Etc the accreditations will be taking away now.

why is this a massive hit to Mr Vladimir Putin President Putin Well check this out. Putin was running a very long con against NATO when Putin in 2020 basically uh, sorry in 20 in 2000 sorry when in 2000 Putin As the President of Russia prime minister he changed jobs many times Putin in 2000 actually went and told the Germans and flew in German in front of their Parliament saying hey, the war is over times has changed. Let's set up a collaboration forever and he convinced the Germans to set up the Nordstrom pipeline. This was the beginning of a long con.

Eventually he got Angela Merkel on top of the Green Wave and the fears of nuclear energy to kill its entire energy independence with you know, shutting down 17 nuclear power plants as this happened in 2022. Angela Merkel finished killing the entire German industry of nuclear energy. This is the same year that Putin invaded Ukraine thinking that now that he is the provider of over 50 percent of the German energy, he gets to tell Germany what to do and he's going to basically take NATO apart. He's going to take Ukraine block NATO and then Germany will be basically dependent on Russia and it will do whatever Russia says and NATO will be toothless, basically powerless.
meaningless. And then that was the game plan. But what ended up happening is that Germany said no, we're calling your bluff and then Putin said well you know I kind of need the money money so I'm still going to sell energy to you so they call this Bluff He still kept selling them energy and also we had a very warm winter which played to the you know to the to the German side. On top of that, Germany is now in cahoots with us.

They've increased their government spending on defense. Insanely, They've doubled it and on top of it the 80-year service Corps with Finland is now broken. Now Finland is NATO. So basically, not only that, his plan failed with Ukraine, it filled with Germany and now it's failing with Finland.

So he's losing massively political clout and geopolitical stance, even though he might win militarily in Ukraine. I Don't know. I'm not a military strategist I don't know what's happening in the battlefield, but I'm saying as far as NATO goes, Putin tried to take NATO apart by invading Ukraine but he made NATO even stronger because now Germany in the US is now together Finland is in and Sweden is just a matter of time. and even the beef between Sweden Finland and turkey is now basically gone because they've actually struck a deal.

So this is a huge, huge development. It is massively important for NATO and a big blow to put in whatever the Putin lovers would like to spend. Go right ahead. I Don't care.

Hate below as much as you want as always. Don't click nothing. Don't smash nothing. Don't don't do nothing.

Just listen. My only purpose for this channel is for you guys to listen. Go research for yourself, form your own opinion and let me know below. If you agree or disagree with me, both options are acceptable.

Love you all! See you next video.

C'mon Tom, you're smart enough to know Putin doesn't give a s*@t about NATO.

He knows they will never attack a nuclear nation, he knows that countries don't have to be NATO members to cooperate (Saudi Arabia hosted US bombers without being in NATO, so could Finland or Ukraine), he knows NATO members combined don't match the US by itself so additional member countries don't make a difference

Beyond all that, Ukraine wasn't even close to becoming a member and estimates were "maybe by 2030 if they make an effort"

You know as well as anybody who spends a few seconds to read 2mm beneath the surface that all the NATO and Nazi claims were all propaganda and that this is just a classic conquest and annexation attempt

good summary. Erdogan fkd up. His response to the earthquake means he is hanging by a thread. So he is sucking up to Western alliance. The next big NATO move is further expansion in confrontation to Putin and Xi. Meetings are being held with key countries – Australia, Japan, Phillipines and likely India to create a new Defence group.

Can someone confirm if this “Putin con” is b.s or not? What’s the con? He wants to sell to Germany…. where’s the con? Putin didn’t want to invade Ukraine the U.S crapped up Ukraine and now Putin wanted to prevent a weak couped Ukraine from being controlled by the U.S…. still potentially a bad decision perhaps he should have simply defended the border. But what’s the con with Germany?

Im a Swede but i live in Nyc. I really hope Turkish president will stop blocking Sweden to get into Nato.
