Oh hi today! I'd like to give you a bit of a studio tour but not just of this studio. Also of my Blackboard Studio which is from now on where every single lecture that I record will be filmed. That's the board where I can write backwards as everybody likes to call it. You'll see the truth in this video and it's basically we have that black background and I kind of kind of write in floating air. Really really cool. I'll show you exactly how that works in this video. So this is what I look at now that we've talked about the Metcaven.com Join: Link Link Down below here is my Final Cut studio. It is also where I can record directly too. so all I have to do is press this little red button right here and then I can record both audio and video directly into the computer. Drag the file over here onto Final Cut and there we go. I can throw it in right here if I ever need to change angles. if I make a little mistake or whatever there we go. I could just use this little slider here on the right and you can see my angles change. I've got one angle here. one angle here I used to have three, but honestly I barely even use two so I don't really need it. This is the iPad I use for most of my research and work. I try to do my best here to go into as many earnings calls as I can or just reports in general whether it's time I want semiconductors reading about Bitcoin uh, you know, studies or or whatever I mean there are some cool things. Uh, this is a little iPad that I use here. it's the mini I usually have this one kind of right here and I could use this to do slides. so that way at the same time as I have notes Here I can do slides here and the cool thing is if I have notes here that I want to reference I can if I actually have it plugged in right here. there we go. sometimes I carry this around depending on where I want to read. so then I have to come plug it in of course. Really good idea to charge it while it's plugged in. otherwise like I hate stuff that dies and see it's at 18 so I gotta work on that. But anyway I can just come over here and press the number two button and boom then I can have uh, you know notes up on screen if I wanted them. So I get some cool flexibility here obviously if I want to turn on CNBC I can do that as well. Now we got uh looks like Shark Tank going I also have it there so I kind of have a little bigger View uh weibull over here Bloomberg code right here so I record to this puppy right here is my studio earpiece I kind of just leave that hanging right here so it's handy. Coffee machine here, charger for Apple watch and the little iPod earpod thing and I also keep a little backup battery charger right here. we've got again Weeble Bloomberg terminal here, another switchboard over there. this is uh in case I need to switch from the laptop to like the iPhone which is a little bit more rare. But anyway, let's now explore a little bit more. So what else do we have in here? well in here? uh I just I don't know about this I just added this rope here I think it kind of looks cool. a little bit on on the primary angle. We'll see what you think, see if I just added this I Didn't know what to do with it and I'm like oh, I'll try sticking it in the office uh and I don't know. it seems like my straw is in the way, but it seems like it adds a little bit of flair anyway. I Try to keep the floor somewhat clean although I'm always organizing. I've got uh, two air conditioners here. They're all pretty much always on this one and this one. They are set to 65 degrees so it gets pretty cold in here. It's probably 67 in here right now. Got my super combat potion recipe over here. Need that to kick people's butt? This is for my father-in-law It's actually I think Very inspirational I Really like it. It's uh, it's called the road to success and see everybody wants to get on the road to success because it's the land of opportunity right? It's kind of like going into the Disney Park themes song uh and uh. you know then then you have like the cynics over here that go into like the I don't need this system and they just kind of hang out over here at the bar and do nothing because they're in the always right club and they don't need practice. They're born a genius. Nobody can tell me what to do when they're in hotel, know it all. uh and then so then you have people that kind of like you know want to hop on the right way. This is like the path to wealth. uh and personally I think this would be like, uh, you know, zero to millionaire path to wealth, the psychology of money and that, uh, of course some people decide no, I'll just walk and then they fall victim to literacy and deceit and uh, the mutual admiration. Society Over here you know these are like the people at the airport lounges that think their stuff doesn't stink. Uh. and then you get some people that, uh, take the shortcut of vices but end up getting swept away by the river. Over here, you get some people with a bad reputation that can't admit their mistakes and just suck. They end up sliding back to the beginning, or you have bad habits. They slide back to the beginning. The lazy people get caught up in the web of jealousy and do it tomorrow and hate. Uh, it's kind of sad. the people who misrepresent others. Also, the other haters. They fall into the river of failure over here, which is pretty bad. Then you got shortcuts. Uh, you know, shortcuts usually lead to bad temper, bad memory, shiftlessness, carelessness, and uh, they end up falling into the river of failure as well. Of course some of them end up floating away from the mutual admiration Club into this hot air. but then in hot air balloon. But they're full of hot air and then they just kind of fall off. A lack of preparation. people fall down the mountain and you kind of have uh, the the train of uh of of the oh yeah, the shortcuts are actually right here, the river right and the train is kind of like the right path is what they're symbolizing here. the right path, the system. and it's the longer path, right? It's not like this little you're in a circle of garbage path. it's uh, it's you're actually taking the longer ride, the Journey of true knowledge and preparedness. and uh, you know you go through the gate of ideals. You don't pit stop at laziness and you have. You don't have weak morals where you end up taking an elevator ride to the slide that brings you right back down. You're not a faker so that that'll get you screwed and then you end up at success. That's the Journey of, uh, the road to success. I Think this is a really important one to look at because it's so easy to get caught up in a lot of these things. I'd probably say the most important ones are bad habits. you know? uh I'll do it tomorrow kind of habits not being prepared, not trying to better yourself. You know the I don't need the system or the conspiracy or the hate. Those are probably some of the big ones that are pretty bad. This is my defense mechanism here. This is my dragon medium helmet of course. but if you're gonna have defense mechanisms, you also have to have weapons because well, life is hard. So you gotta have uh, the crossbow of course both of them. Dragon uh, that's why they're red because it's a dragon helmet and a dragon crossbow. but of course, uh, you couldn't go through life without sometimes having a dragon schematar. I Really like the design of this one I think it looks really classy and then of course I've got my poison tip dragon dagger over here. The only thing I use this iMac for by the way and these monitors is just these screens which I could change those out I put them on a back of battery too down there. This is, uh, a caricature of Lauren and Kevin from probably 13 years ago. There's my, um, the Horix ax from Barrows and of course my coin stack always got to have a thousand K. So um, what do I have? This is kind of my for The Horde chair over here. we've got uh, air purifier right here. prevents Covid maybe or not an espresso coffee machine. This is kind of cool. the backbone. It's actually pretty neat. It doesn't. the backbone for Android doesn't fit the new Google pixel phone, but it does fit the iPhone which is kind of cool. These are my sound doors. You've probably seen these before. I actually have a little server rack I'm working on fixing up over here I got another little iMac over there and I I actually personally wired that smoke detector in because I thought if I'm gonna have a server I probably should have a dedicated uh smoke detector for that uh lights. Obviously that looks a little bit messy, but kind of needed I try to hang most of the stuff up here I really hate cable messes I actually want to tidy that up a little bit, but as you can see, I try to bundle stuff and keep stuff as clean as possible just because it drives me nuts. like even as far as going over here. and uh, I have these purposefully here. So that way if I bring in my third iPad I could put it here or my Google pixel phone I put it here I put my headphones right here plugged in I like a plug for every one of my things. So I like I hate it when stuff isn't charged. It's like the most lazy thing ever. Then of course I got my sound proof doors right here. These things literally weigh a ton. They're probably about 500 pounds a piece. Uh, 500, 500, 500, 500. They're two French doors. They're huge. These are solid. These are probably eight to ten different layers of wood. This is a veneer. that's why it looks like because of this right here. but this right here is probably eight to ten different slices of of different for varieties of wood. Just to help with sound dampening, a little air gap over here it gets so tight we actually had to cut like a little air hole in over here thresholds drilled right into the ground. so that way this really seals. Really necessary now. I'm going to show you how we get to uh the next. Studio But first we're going to go through the gaming area. Dare I say uh okay, that's uh I Haven't really properly set this up yet, but um, here's our cyber quad. uh I've got all the different news stations in here from back in the campaign days. Another server rack over there I'm actually working on that. That's why it looks like a cable mess that drives me nuts. Still got to finish setting up that little Bose speaker thingy. but anyway, a couple more TVs over here. Uh, these are for the kids computers so we can kind of LAN party over here. That's Lauren's computer and it looks like uh, looks like Max went on here and his rust character is about to die. so let me go ahead and uh, make sure. Oh yeah. okay I put a code lock on that. Let's just go ahead and put his uh oh, this is messy. There we go. uh-oh put his little there we go. So that way if he dies, we don't lose that armor anyway. Uh, this is usually where I play and what you can see is this is a RuneScape farming Cape mouse pad. I Really actually like this thing because uh, when the fire this is actually kind of cool when the farming skill came out. I uh I was one of the top 40 farmers in uh RuneScape too. uh, only for like a week and then I gave up because well I'm a bum no I'm just kidding no I I really wish I I kept going with it. but but then again, you know you can't always game forever. So uh, this garage I think is really neat because we've got uh, not only sort of the LAN party setup over here uh, that's my computer Lauren's computer is ironically better and hers was like uh, third the price. but whatever this I want to work on a little bit? It looks a little messy, but it's because we've got like four Chargers here for the two go-karts the Segways uh, you know our end phase terminal over here. sub panels, surge protectors, batteries and it is so much crap it's crazy. Uh, also in this room we have uh, air purifier right here. We have a fire rated door for the attic that also locks and then here we have an air conditioner for the garage because who doesn't need an air conditioner for their garage? Okay good. so now what we're going to do is we're going to open this puppy up. I Used to film in here as well, hence like half of the garage having this. but I don't film in here anymore. Maybe maybe I should, maybe I should stream games uh I don't get to play that much I really consider games a stress relief and it's actually one of my hacks for being able to work so hard is I always think work hard, play hard. So if you could work really hard well, then you should also be entitled to play hard, right? Some people don't see it that way, but whatever. So anyway, we're going to take this and we're gonna go take a little ride to uh to the other house I can't really do that here. We'll just do this There we go. So uh, these go-karts are amazing. I've done over here is I moved the treadmill that was here outside I'll probably get another one, but we've got a brand new elliptical. uh, weight rack over here. squat rack over here. two more go-karts storage Storage Storage Storage Storage Storage Storage Storage Storage uh there Peloton I gotta put that back in I hate it when stuff is left outside. but I did that because my Tesla tire has a slow leak and I'm tired of continuously taking that out and putting it back in. Anyway, over here. this is usually during the week. uh Bloomberg I think it is during the week so it's Black Friday after all, remember that Black Friday sale is gonna not sure why right now that's not playing Bloomberg it's probably just on TV commercial. This is my Reuters terminal so I can see all the top news that comes in uh every you know 30, 40 seconds or whatever. and I set up a little camera to look at this. so when I'm mobile I have that mobile as well I kind of cheated that since they don't have a mobile app for I'm like well I got a mobile app for a camera so I'll just put a stick up camera there usually I like bad boys like this, you know the Vandal resistant sexy cameras. look at it, look at how good that puppy looks. you know I can't do that with that little one. uh we got a little fire extinguisher over here. You know you gotta have these. So uh, we come inside. Oh gotta love the ubiquity routers. uh the access points. These things are freaking amazing. Got uh, three of these, uh, some cameras over there and such. But uh, the most important thing here is this. So as you can see here I actually have Bloomberg again and news again. This whole thing is uh, you know, acoustic, foamed, and uh, what. you actually have right here is another little office and I can kind of like close myself in here. uh if I want and the reason we actually mostly put these is one Echo but number two is see right there. We've installed an air conditioner just for this room. so that way if I wanna crank the AC which looks actually a little warm in here I can now crank the AC So uh, this here is the Mac Pro oh I got to clean up the cables over here. This is the Mac Pro and uh, this here is the good old uh lecture studio. So for example, this is uh, the the start of the Elite Hustlers University right here and uh, you can see right now. this is just. this is just one part of it. but it's 61 61 lectures right here. If I add that together of finished videos that is, come on there we go. Took a little second, that's already. that's nine hours. Uh, plus the wealth course that's already there. plus the other part. Okay, so what we actually have here is the uh this this giant wallpaper that's basically a Ben Franklin wallpaper right here. And not only do we have this, this wallpaper here that I could use for when we want to film with Ben Franklin in the background, but I have black screens that can go all the way around the back on this little path. uh, this was pretty cheap off Amazon actually. but I can grab one of these sectionals and carry it all the way around the room and it's really cool. Uh, because it just goes all the way around behind the TVs and everything. so that gives us the whole black screen effect here. and uh, which I mean is really obviously Mission critical for the uh uh. filming. uh, the lecture stuff. You got to have the back screen pretty black and so that's kind of what you see here. You can see that TV right there. There's your black screen so the bottom screen is what the camera sees. The top screen is if I wanted to put notes up or whatever over there and uh, the cool thing over here is watch this. So I'm gonna put this here and I'm just going to take my marker and I'm going to write hi there. Watch this hi see that comes out normal. Look at that I wrote it normal. Watch this. ready for this here. We go high there. Boom baby boom look at that. How cool is that? Then you go over here and I could have just recorded that and all I have to do is open my little capture app here. there it is. How cool is that? So uh yeah, this is this is the black screen we've got some extra cameras over here for. Uh, if we bring out this table which I've already got the lights attached to and podcast mics. although I do have a few extra lights I might put in, we could put that table here and then we could use the Ben Franklin background. Probably do two tables like this and kind of make this like a boardroom. Uh, and then I'll add some more lights up here if necessary. I put them all on obviously the little automated switchers and that. so uh, lots of Lights needed for a set like this. Obviously super important. Uh I like to have my audio on me as well when I'm on the set that way I can walk around so I do a little lapel that I can buckle to my pants and then I tape the meat color foam under my shirt so you can't see it and then that way wherever I walk we have it. and I just use a little bit of 3M tape here to accomplish that. So uh, that's really this. uh I mean this property has a bunch of other things as well. Uh, we've got uh, you know, office space and and uh, bed space or whatever. uh what else like here I've got. check this out. This could be an intern's desk. This is a nice desk.
