This is by far the worst credit card available. The Verge MasterCard has been designed for beginner credit card users, which is dangerous when you look closely at it. It's only 75 dollars for the first year, but the second year that annual fee goes up to 96 plus a 10 monthly maintenance fee that starts in the second year. This means that you'll be paying 216 dollars every year in fees. What makes this worse is the limit starts at 300, leaving you with little room to spend. But given that this card is marketed to beginners, canceling this card can even hurt your credit score more. so. that's one of the reasons why this card's pretty dangerous and I would not recommend anyone to sign up with it.
what do you suggest for good beginner cards?
Sounds eerily similar to my Credit One card that also has a $300 credit limit.
