Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
Now yeah, I hear you all right? So let's see. Uh, welcome everyone! It is about ten of nine and I'm sitting down here this morning looking for some opportunities so far I haven't taken any trades so I'm sitting on a no trade day so far I Have two guests with me on the morning show today from my All-Star Traders Summit Last week we've got Chris and Hamang so they'll both be giving you some commentary of what their trade-in Chris trades to the short side using Guardian as his broker and Hamang trades to the long side very similar uh to the way I trade so you'll get a little bit more perspective. Hearing from these two today and as I had said I Uh, we had such a great time last week I was like how can we do this more So of course Zoom is the easiest way. So amongst down in Georgia and Chris is in Florida So you know we're pretty far apart geographically but through Zoom we are like family connected.
So right. That's the power of Zoom guys and this is uh, episode is sponsored by Zoom. Zoom is Zoom. it's 40 operating is it? That'd be great.
So I don't think it's not sponsored So uh. so anyways, let's see. um Chris you're already up like over a thousand bucks. Thirteen hundred, right? I am I'm sitting at 1300 this morning I had a great short on Rnaz when it first made that initial pop-up I got that quick pop and drop on H-o-l-o for 274 and then I got a small little 40 trade on Epix It's easy to borrow I'm very wary of the price action I need to be easy to borrow stocks on the short side.
Yeah, they tend to squeeze very easily. so I just got out for a small profit on that one. Okay, all right, nice. Um, and then oh yeah, yeah, good.
Come on. No trades yet for you? Uh, no trades for me so far. and I'm I don't have anything on my watch list I think I'm just gonna wait for the holiday momentum scanner when the Market opens up or if something comes up at the 9. A.M News answer the call.
Um, someone's asking about Bed Bath and Beyond that had some interesting action yesterday. Not doing much now. Okay, yesterday morning around 10 30. it had a nice run up.
Yeah, that's a tricky one. Uh, it is a jerky one. I mean I I just I I Don't disagree that that's a nice move, but I never seem to do well trying to do breakout trades on these except for you know, the front side of the move when they're really going. But we're way way way past that.
so I I'll probably leave those alone for the time being. Yeah I think I I Sometimes I'll trade the meme stocks. you know, because if they made a move on one of the days and if people missed it sure you know the the Reddit crew and Wall Street bets are whoever that you know group is they're they're gonna come and take some trades on it. So, but yeah I don't think I would take any breakout trades on that.
but maybe if I draw out some levels I might take some dip dip trades if there's nothing out there. But you know again, I'm not trying to force any trades in this market right now. Yeah yeah, I think it's It's a good time to wait for the next one that makes like a two three, four hundred percent move. and even if even if I miss it because it happens in the afternoon or something, uh I'm gonna be real quick to jump on and look for sympathy momentum because that's what I'll be. That's what I'll be expecting. Oh yes, uh. and by the way, Chris has a class on Short Selling that's going to be added for warrior Pro members. Uh, probably the next few weeks and Hamang has a class that he's working on as well which will be a little bit later this year.
So these guys are both going to continue to provide some some great content for our Warrior Pro members. and so for those tuning in on YouTube Reminder: we are retiring our Warrior Pro all-access membership in November So that means this is the last opportunity to be grandfathered in as an all-access member. Uh, in November We're going to be changing our pricing structure. Separating out the classes, there'll be a one-time membership fee uh, to be a member of the community, and then you'll just pay your monthly dues essentially for uh, the market data and everything else which you know the monthly dues are going to be higher.
Our goal is to have a smaller Community It's not to be Wall Street Bets to have you know I don't know 12 million people? Um, that's not really the idea. The idea is to work with smaller groups of people and to try to give them a great experience. Um, you know, so that's the direction we're going in. But uh, this is last Call for Warrior Pro All Access for those tuning in on YouTube And for members.
Uh, you're welcome to renew your membership and you'll then be grandfathered in for a longer period of time at the end of your membership. If it's a year, two years, Um, we're gonna have to look at what we do with members either continuing to let them renew or merging them into the whatever membership tiers we have at that time. That's a ways off for a lot of you guys. So I'm not super worried about it, but just something to think about.
So we've got 90 seconds to the top of the hour here. Um, let's see. Um, you know we can watch for news, but I'm not feeling super super confident trying to jump on something. Um I mean it would have to look really, really good to jump on something.
like a news Spike just because like hello. Well the thing with Holo is that it? There wasn't news on it so that popped up there to three and dropped right back down. but there wasn't news so that was. Um, that was a tricky one so we'd really like to see news.
Yep, just sitting tight. Kyle Probably probably for you guys, it'll be mid before. I Give you guys a little more time. Yes, we do have charts that we're working on now and I've been able to test them out a little bit.
although I'm looking forward to testing them some more. I'll actually send my developers a message here and ask, what's this? What's the schedule? Let's see well, the Gap scanner is looking pretty weak at the moment. They have Rnaz still top gapper I just holding V-wap here. Foreign? Yeah. I know and I'm not that interested in that one so it's just a little cheap for me. Uh, our R-n-a-z I know you got a short on it. It's got the 200 moving average at 176. what do you think among it just doesn't look like it has the the juice.
Which one is this R-n-a-z Oh no. I will be right back guys. Okay, okay I mean our Rnaz has some cancer. um news.
So some good pre-clinical data and it's gapping up pretty high? I'm thinking from a perspective of is it gonna, Are we gonna see Some continuation on this one? If so, then I'll you know it's worth keeping an eye out all day today and maybe tomorrow? You think so? Which one are you talking about? Mom Rna-z All right I Gotta see how much though, what's up? What's the float on it? It says it's 8.7 so it's pretty low. Let's get over the 200. I think though we also have Govex kind of hovering out the pre-market highs here, not moving, holding this like three cent range if Arnaz doesn't really have that much going for it either. Yeah, we have good news, but we have seen good news on you know, almost every day, but nothing still happens.
There's some sort of news on some stock, but we just haven't seen the moves. Yeah, Yep. I agree. Um Roger says um you you should try.
um let's see. oh what is he talking about? um oh, he's talking about doing some um, meditation. um which sounds like he's talking I just was misreading something that was in the lounge but he was talking about doing some meditation to help. kind of.
uh, you know, stay focused disciplined right now this is a this is a really important time to to try to practice that discipline. I mean I'm sitting here 903 with no trades yesterday I finished up uh which was okay but uh I think I was up like 6 500 or something by the end of the day. but but today but I was right on. Monday uh and I don't see anything today right now.
so top and bottom of the hours have come and gone. Haven't gotten any news? Yeah, nothing on the top Gainer scanner or the cons I mean or the gapper scanner? Yeah I was just saying earlier that you know when things were hotter I Used to having three to five thousand dollar days now I'm lucky to have one to two thousand dollar dates right? Being okay with that for now because my you know it's just limited. the action is limited. yeah and what can you do I mean it's kind of out of your control right? I mean the opportunities will either be there, they won't if we have the trouble.
I get into is forcing trades right? You know if we have an extended period of like I don't know six or eight weeks that are that were like this, you know you might start to get a little antsy and be like oh, when do I have to start kind of looking for other areas of the market? do I look at crypto? Do I look at penny stocks? Do I look at options or large caps? you know? But I I can tell you guys I've been doing this for a long time and so I've been training for more than 10 years and I've been through Bear Markets I mean that this is you know every Bear Market's different, but I've been through periods of volatility. I've been through periods that have been very, very slow for small caps and you know we always seem to get through it. So I think pending some major structural change to the market, you know if something like a transaction tax got passed and it was. You know, particularly High Some some kind of major structural event like that could change liquidity and that could have a longer lasting effect. the five cent tick pilot program that had the potential of making a you know, a bigger, bigger impact. You know if they change circuit halts to three percent instead of ten percent. you know, something like that. But but but pending some big you know big infrastructure or systematic change to the market I Really think that these are just Ebbs and flows and some are going to be deeper, some are going to be longer and you know it's not that it's a bad idea to Branch out.
Perhaps there's more opportunities sometimes on in other areas of the market like options or large caps, but I'm not. Usually if I see other areas you know where people are crushing it that I'll find out about it. and I haven't really been hearing about that aside from last week with the volatility and penny stocks. So Ross I have a question for you? Okay, since we've been trading for a long time.
Yeah, uh I Remember thinking this when I watched your five minute five cent Pilot program video and I'm like man, if this was my bread and butter like Ross like if I was trading this and if I saw something like this that can really challenge the way I trade? Yeah, how do you? how do you? how do you deal with that I mean now you know my perspective has changed a little bit, but you know given that you've been trading for such a long time, what do you think? like would that something a program like that or that you know the transaction tax would that throw in your strategy I mean yeah, we're threaten your strategy. but what about your mindset? How would you? what would you think? Well I think one of the things for me is that I've always whenever I've run into a wall or sort of like an obstacle of trading, I've always been like okay, it's time to go back to the drawing board and in a lot of ways I enjoy that because I I like the problem solving I Like trying to figure things out so you know I would be pretty eager to find the the next adaptation of my strategy. whatever that might be. Um, you know I I and I think obviously it's impossible to say like with a pilot part with a five cent tick pilot program that lasted for two years I think it was from 15 to 17 or 16 to 18 or something like that. um you know that was. That was definitely an interesting time because those stocks that had the five cent minimum spread and we're you know instead of a stock quoting like um you know one cent here every that stock would just be like a dollar dollar five dollar, fifteen dollar twenty dollar twenty five. It was just like these trenches of five cent increments and so the volatility was was definitely lower. But the goal of that pilot program was to increase the number of small cap IPOs and it was not successful in achieving that mission so they got rid of it.
um it was trying to go back to before decimalization when in the fractions your small spread was like six and a quarter cents or something anyway so you know, but I was you know at that time I was like boy if they do this for everything it's probably going to change small caps and you have to be able to adapt and the people that are survive and those that don't you know get in trouble. So like I a couple years ago I bought a um a G wagon a Mercedes G-Wagon from uh a dealer down in New York New Jersey area and the guy's like what do you do for you know for work and I said I was a Trader and he was like yeah I was a traitor back when they had fractions before decimalization and now he's working at a car dealership and I felt kind of bad I was like oh yeah, that's must have been tough um you know because it just wiped out a huge industry of market makers who are making money on spread. So he worked at an institution. he wasn't a Trader like trading his own money, he was just he just had like a you know, nine to five job in the finance in the sector that paid really well uh but got cut out when they made this change and so I think that uh, being entrepreneurial which I am and I think a lot of Traders naturally are I think that we are probably more inclined to be the type of person that's gonna be Innovative and trying to find an alternative way to make it work.
you know we've already found an alternative path through life that has us here as Traders So I think that we are, uh, we've got the right mindset and then it just comes down to us kind of putting our heads together and figuring out okay, where is their volatility in the market and what I'm talking about are things that would reduce the things like the five cent take pilot program reduce volatility. Um, you know, creating a transaction tax would probably reduce liquidity. Um, it might not reduce volatility I don't know volatility might stay, but it would probably reduce liquidity. but again, like those are, those are all just so far as maybes.
And and if something like that was going to happen, we would see it coming from a long ways away. I Mean we first see it get passed and then we would see. you know the discussion of how to implement it over the period of years and so we would have a a long period of transition. Yep, so you know, no doubt. I didn't trade through I mean I I wasn't trading in, uh, 1990 I Didn't trade through the 80s through the 90s through the 2000s. so my window of experience is somewhat limited. You know I mean for sure there's people that I suppose been trading for 30 or 40 years out there, but um, that have seen more and if they've been able to get through it, then you know that's awesome from my vantage point. I've gotten through a pretty good stretch of time and still keep trucking along, so seems like something's working.
They say adapt or perish. Yeah, it's one of the other. Yeah, definitely. and we've got about 20 minutes the opening bell.
Um, do you suppose you see anything else that looks interesting? Big negative: No. I'm going to have my eye on the scanner I'd like to see Rum move I mean it had that huge pre-market high up over 11? Okay, but on no volume, but I think it will be somewhat of a magnet hopefully. Guys, how are we doing Hey good, How are you bright and early, right? right? Really, it's still dark. Okay, good morning? hey good morning? sure is.
We almost got the whole Summit back yeah, just about we're just missing Justin Manoli Jess is uh, he's got nothing on watch today. he'd mentioned in the chat room. Manoli said he was sitting tight. uh Jess oh sorry.
um uh. Danny how'd you do yesterday? um I took basically three paper cuts yesterday I finished at like negative 450 just negative 150 on three different tickers. Oh okay, so okay, yeah yeah. Yesterday I finished about 4 500 I believe? um yeah I got green from AMV I think I made about 6 000 on that one but nice.
Uh I was right. before that though it was I've been taking a shot to the confidence lately. Yeah yeah. AMV had a nice, um, a nice move right here it broke back overview app.
it held view app so it did that kind of classic break. retest held and then it goes up Two and a half dollars a share to nineteen Fifty eight. Well what was that? Yeah, 1937 that's pretty nice. Have you been sizing down at all? Max are you still hitting your usual Yeah, no I decided to come down to like 50 000 now.
Wow, that was kind of the only yeah. that was the only option that I had really. but I don't know. I'd kind of gone in uh, last week going to the summit with a uh, a little bit more than I should have in my account I think you know there was a good day I could have had a you know, pretty solid profit day, but no, that's bad idea.
bad idea on this market right now. Yeah. limited the wrist? Yeah, yeah, definitely. Although you were up yesterday, right? Max Yeah.
Finished up? yeah. I'm having a hard time I was thinking about sizing down and I'll keep being like ah, you know I'm gonna size down and the next day we're gonna have like a 400 mover and I'm not gonna be able to take big size on it. Yeah, finding any consistency One day we get a nice move the next day there's nothing at all or the moves don't resolve. Yeah, yeah, I'll have to point out. but Danny um Bbby Yesterday it was, uh, my perfect setup I was so it was a uh ABC position between the C in the D and it was beautiful. The five minute was perfect and I didn't hold it long enough. but I'm a little bit upset about it when you took your position I had already tried it two or three times on that flat top and then I saw you get out two minutes before it went. Yeah, of course that's so bad.
It was an explosive unfortunately. But either way that you know I missed out on. you know it was what 20 cents? It was not explosive, so at least I didn't but 1527. Still, that could have been a pretty good trade.
Yeah, it wasn't explosive, but it did kind of just keep going. Yeah for sure. I Like the idea of Bbby yesterday just considering that we had that move earlier in the year and we, you know we don't really haven't had much sense of it. Yeah, what do you think of it today? Um, let's see what do we think of it today among I Know you like those ones that hold up the continuations that that second day.
I Know you like those setups, yeah, but I mean meme stocks are not ones that are typically go for for those, at least for high quality setups, but like high air quality setups given the market. but I'll just I'll just keep an eye out on it again. I'm not looking to take size or do something stupid I don't know I'm not sure sure I would say it's holding up super well. it would need to.
It would need to get back together. It would need to get back over 520. I think to start to look interesting. Yeah.
I agree. I Think it's pulled back a little bit too much? Yeah, we'll see. We'll see what happens. Volume on something though.
This is ridiculous. What's up with standards lately? Yeah, you can use some volume on anything, huh? Something wrong with the scanners Ross We got nothing. We got nothing I can I could rework them. they're just sitting at 1300.
yeah. Arnaz What is that was? uh, that spiked up early this morning. That was like seven o'clock Let's see, it pays to be up early in this market. Danny Yes, so sure does I mean I've been thinking about these 4am Traders I mean those pop and drops at 4am look really appetizing for me I Don't know if I could wake up at 3 45 a.m though.
that's the thing. Can you wake up that early and be ready to trade? Yeah I gotta convince my wife to move to Europe I Guess yeah, me too. The thing with those pops is that um I was I've looked at a bunch of them and it just I mean I haven't traded any of them because I haven't been getting up that early but they just look like they're on super light volume and a lot of times they go all the way back down. So I'm like in reality how big would you be able to go I mean shorting might be the easier certainly approach than trying to chase them to the long side. but I've just seen a couple that have been really nasty. So yeah, I don't know. It looks like there's no liquidity on them and they go straight up and straight down. Yeah yeah, and they're not consistent.
they're not every morning, they're just sometimes right? So what if you wake up at 3 30 one day and hop on, get ready and you're like, well, I don't know, it might be worth. uh, you know, taking a trip to Europe and while you're there and it's not a big deal to look at the market at that hour, see if you can get dialed in there? I mean you know that's one of those things. Like if they're if there truly was the opportunity, that might be one of the things you'd have to consider adapting. But Summit in Europe what was that next? Summit is in Europe maybe yeah Ibiza 2023.
sure do that. I Traded with uh Roberto in Italy in 2019 right before the you know pandemic and I mean you know the summer before and it was great I enjoyed it. The internet though wasn't super super. uh, wasn't super good where we were? well it's good now.
like Anita I Just went to Italy in July and it was good. Yeah uh, it was good. It was good. I was there 100 Mbps Were you in the city cities and even outside? like even the smaller cities? um forgot which town before which? City um yeah.
I was there in April May and I had no issues. It was actually really nice. You could do whatever you want in the morning, come back in the afternoon for an hour to a trading. go back out.
Yeah, even the ping rate was pretty good too, because you know that's what we really care about, right? That's good. yeah. I Didn't really have any issues with internet. It was pretty good.
Yeah, you can trade at light speed as early as 4am if you want. I've done it before I did it during GameStop So we've got about 10 minutes the opening bell here. Um, it's kind of looking like it might. Well, it looks like a no trade for pre-market at least for me.
I just don't see anything. you know the leading gappers the one I'd like to focus on. It's too cheap though. Govex also too cheap.
floats a little higher Epix a higher float on that one as well went up. came almost all the way back down Fwbi. So what's the deal with H-o-l-o The daily looks pretty good, but I know that first day the IPO yeah, if it was an IPO from 35 down to three, whatever it might be. Yeah, um I like the idea of a daily setup, it seems like it has a good float.
Yeah, yeah. I I agree with you on all of that. um I think we were kind of surprised when it popped up earlier because we were like what's you know is and there wasn't news on it and then it just rejected like hard. So I was thinking I like it over like 3 15.
for that kind of move into that window and then up to the 200. but I just I I think without news you know when AMV yesterday was just technical so I think it could work but but I just don't know. Yeah 315 looks like the spot to watch. then on it. yeah since it's already attracted. yeah Holo Okay yeah, it's a side chart. Oh Cytos also a side chart. Um floats like 700 000 shares.
Yesterday was a Green Day reverse split so you kind of have these pullbacks. first daily candle Again, it's kind of like a wild card stock because it doesn't have volume. But so I'm not going to be the first one to jump on it. but if it starts to move then I might jump on that momentum.
Yesterday's high was 8 48. Yeah, I do like it I do like uh, Cyto but I agree with you I'm not going to be the first one to jump in. Yeah, not in this market. Yep yeah.
so I went right on yesterday early in the morning I lost about 2500 on that one trying to buy the breakout I think yeah I I took a loss on it too. Um and it was a pretty quick one. All of a sudden the spreads opened up and I was down 50 cents a share. Yeah yeah, those friends were massive on it so on which one see? Yeah yeah and then volume just completely dried up on it.
Doesn't need much to move though. No, you know it's so it's It's a side chart just like AMV was um yesterday. so keep it on the side and we'll see if that that does open up. That top takes short on Holo just posted in the chat.
Nice. Good job. Okay, um, all right. Well we've got about seven minutes to the opening bell, so uh I guess we'll see if anything I don't think we're gonna get anything in the next seven minutes, but we'll see how things look.
uh at 9 30 and then through the opening range we'll see if we get some opportunities. Um I Gotta leave early today I have a doctor's appointment. My doctor called me. they said they, oh, look at that bid on um Epix a hundred thousand shares is there at 05.
so is that spoof? Is that someone? I mean that was a huge order at 205 on Epix I just saw that on the level too, but it's still the flood's a bit higher on it. so I don't know. but I have this candle 214 it was on the bid but I'm not going to chase it here. it's not really.
Yeah. anyways. so I just got this new nice new Windows laptop this week to to run dos with. TD Yeah, which one did you get I got an Asus G15 I think from last year.
Yeah, it's sweet and there's nothing to trade right? right? That's so annoying how you pronounce it Asus I guess I don't know Aces I don't know I don't know I never heard it said pronounce that way I don't know if anyone knows I I call it Asus yeah I do too. Zeus All right. Yep yeah. I mean my monitors are all by them including the USB ones and I like them.
there's Hollow getting some news. H-o-l-o someone likes it. look at him hello. Coming back up there you go.
but does it have news? Yeah. see look at that. see how that all of a sudden was 83 on the ask? oh what? it was 99 and then it dropped to 83 on the assets. That real quick makes me just that was Chris I don't know, it wasn't good. believe me for everything. Hey was he a topic chart on that too? He didn't blame you for everything I was too slow on that I put an order in at 90. no bill but it's coming back now. I'm gonna wait I mean it is close to that 315 level? Oh maybe maybe we'll see how this trades through the opening range I just don't wanna I just don't like that the way it drops 20 cents on the the ask so we'll save the best volume it's had yet.
