The Federal reserve appears to have lost complete control of the economy and their demand side, economic pressure of eye. Interest rate hikes is having an unintended consequence. Most importantly, it’s not working. People are borrowing more just to stay there spending at the worst possible time as we expect an earnings recession to be in front of us. Terminal fed rates might not end up at four. 6% terminal level, but might end up as by a 6% or more. This could push us into a dirty dep. More pain ahead.

The Biden administration is stifling the Fed's efforts. They should be working together in unison to bring down inflation. Biden can help himself by reopening oil pipelines in the US, negotiating a peace treaty with Russia to help end the war, and cancel his trillion dollar student loan package. Additionally, I expect a pivot will come soon and inflation will come down to normal levels again.
