I'm going to be going live right at market open for about 30 minutes to an hour. So please set your alarms. It really just comes down to how bad you want to see it and if you actually end up showing up so i'll see you guys all there.

Let's go ahead and break down. What was actually reported today and this is the ppi. Which is the producer price index very similar to the cpi cpi obviously tends to have a little bit more of an influence and it's a little bit more covered as it affects the consumer. This affects the overall producers.

But the really cool thing about understanding the ppi. We made a video about this yesterday is if we can see that ppi is either rising or dropping. Then that can kind of foreshadow movements for cpi right. Because if we see inflation is hitting on the production side.

Then we can expect inflation to be hit on the consumer side and vice versa. If we see inflation dropping on the producer side then we can see inflation then potentially begin to drop on the consumer. Side what was reported well we increased 11. Percent in the month of june.

Which is actually less than expected. This is this is the progress. We're not growing or seeing inflation rise as aggressively as we have been before that's progress with that being said. Inflation when it comes down to the ppi is up 113.

Percent. On the year that's including energy and food. Core. Inflation which is not including energy.

And food that is at. 64 which saw a 03. Gain. This is actually less than what they expected that they would have seen on that core ppi.

The good thing about that is that if it was less than expected. This is why we're seeing right now the overall market somewhat in the green. This is tkq. It's up nearly one percent.

There it goes one percent on the day and although it didn't start out this way during today's live trading session. We talked about this that you know the market was beginning to show signs of a reversal. We were testing uh the moving average as a resistance level one thing that i want to bring up to you is i like to make you guys aware of resistance levels based off of previous patterns. I'm in tkq so it actually is of no benefit for me.

But i want you guys to make a little bit more of an informed decision. I think it's important to understand critical levels. And if you look at this level. Right around 2550.

This has been a resistance level that we are testing right now we can break above it for sure. But yesterday even after the cpi. We struggled to make higher highs above. It it was within that general range that we ended up getting getting rejected and if you look at the day.

Before that same general range was a previous support level old support levels. Become new resistance levels until broken above and again my job is just to make you aware of them so you can at least make a little bit more of an informed trade decision also jobless claims jumped up to 244 000. This is the highest jump that we have seen since 2000. I'm saying sorry 2021.

November. And it makes sense right i mean we've seen companies left and right cut down on jobs. Why would they cut down on jobs well again if it's more expensive to borrow money. It's more expensive to run your company and therefore.

If you need to really kind of cut off the fat of a business. Then that's where a lot of job cuts have come in right because growth is paused when interest rates are rising. Because it makes it more expensive to run your company. So um overall one one of the last things that i want you guys to understand about the ppi report that was released.

Today we are at 113. Including um. The overall you know past 12 months overall highs for inflation for the ppi report is 115. And that was back in march.

So as long as we don't surpass that then again. It's some form of progress. If you have any questions that you would like to ask me about the ppi report. Why it's performing the way it's performing again.
