Stop fueling the hate. This has gone long enough.

Okay, let's talk about youtube drama, more specifically financial youtube drama, can't believe. I'm saying this more specifically: chicken genius versus sasha yanchen can't believe i'm saying this either. So most of you have probably noticed that have avoided from taking sides here, and this is going to change in this video in this video i will be taking sides and i'll tell you who i think is right, who i think is wrong, but before i do That let me explain why we're making this video what's the purpose and what's the end game here now, i've intentionally avoided from stepping into this pile of there's this drama. For one reason, and that reason being is i like both these guys? I think both of them are great creators.

Both of them are super important on youtube. Both of them have a role to play and they're both one of the good guys. Now i know, there's been a lot of name calling name, dropping multiple videos made. God knows how many names were thrown into the air, such as scammer fraudster, donkey whatever, but the reason i'm making this video is the same reason i texted sasha yesterday saying hey dude.

I think you guys need to work it out. I think you need to find the middle ground so since i'm seeing that's not happening where they had five videos between the two of them slugging mud at each other. I think this video should serve as the catalyst to finishing this beef and just moving forward. So i'm gon na be the referee here and i'm gon na end it today and here's my verdict.

So i think sasha and the ken chicken genius are kind of like a divorced couple. You ever heard the divorce couple argue that sort of argument has zero percent chance of ever getting to a point where they agree on anything, it's emotionally impossible for them to agree, and i think the reason is because they're crying basically here to debate ken and sasha. What tastes, better oranges or apples who the knows, but each of them have a good point. If you like apples, you think apple stays better.

If you like oranges, you think origins, taste better, and there is a scenario where both of them are right. I'll explain what i mean: on the one hand, you have canned chicken genius saying: hey: the fed is effectively sucking all the money from the market and that's going to crash the stock market. That's why i'm not buying the dip. On the other hand, you have sasha saying hey, i think your specific advice as far as not buying the dip and staying in cash is an attempt to time the market and timing.

The market is something nobody has the skill set to do. Not even warren buffett not mean you know, tom nash, not anybody, especially not tom nash, palantir, anybody and so yeah. So timing, the market is a dumbass idea. So sasha is saying that hey your advice is trash not because of your analysis.

Sasha actually admits that his analysis is on point, but because he's effectively trying to time the market and encouraging others to do so, and he says that that's really not cool. Now. Here's me coming in as the referee here ken is an options, guy primarily an options. Guy sasha is a long term, a classic investor.
He doesn't do any day trading any swing trading, long term unfazed by price wings unfazed by drama long term. So, for a long term, investor timing - the market makes absolutely zero sense. Why? But for an options? Guy like ken timing, the market is literally literally what he does for a living. Now.

Kent has a long investment portfolio in tesla, yes, but his bread and butter is options. Options. Traders literally try to time the market now, whether the success or not - i don't know, but the advice here is basically coming from an options trader about timing. The market.

That's literally what he does, and then the long-term investor is listening to this thing. Oh that's a bad advice when you have two people arguing about a topic coming from completely different methodologies, both of them can be right, and in this case both of them are right. Ken is right in saying: hey if you're an options trader timing, the market right now with you know the fed, basically driving a pile driver through the market might not be such a bad idea for options. Traders for day trader for swing traders.

Yes, for long term, investors, dca and dollar cost averaging into good companies in weakness is a proven strategy and everything else is just so. Both of them are right and if they had the chance to actually talk about it without this ad hominem attacks at each other. The donkey and the scammer, then they would agree, and that's what i think so. My main goal is to use this video to get them to agree, because both of them are right.

Now did sasha exaggerate a little bit and create a little bit more pizzazz and drama to get more views of this for sure for sure he's, probably about sixty percent. Seventy percent of what he's actually showing is what he's feeling there's obviously exaggeration, but i do the same thing. Every creator on youtube does the same thing. I cannot hold it against him.

We all exaggerate for views, it's just how the platform works, so no issues there at all now final point. As far as the strength of the debate here, the strength of the debate purely on an academic level. Sasha has a better position, because sasha is saying: look, no matter what happens with the market? The market can go up, can go down, ken might be right might be wrong. I'm still going to be right in this debate because i said that you cannot time the market.

That's the only thing i'm saying so. Whatever happens in the market does not take away from my debate, which is a kind of a long-standing fact in the stock market. Ken's argument only works if the market crashes, any other outcome, is going to make him look like he lost this debate. So as far as just the debating objective kind of points on this, i think it's a points win to sasha, not a knockout, but i think as far as the argument here, both of them are 100 percent right and that's the sad part that the fight about Apples and oranges now here's my final thoughts on this.
I hope - and i am willing to do what it takes to get these guys into a room or a zoom, call and work this out. I hope this is the last time we talk about this drama. I hope ken decides to not take it too seriously and it stays on youtube. It makes more videos, i hope.

Sasha accepts ken for what he is, which is an options trader with a long term perspective on certain stocks, and we just move on happily ever after. That's the only thing i'm looking for. I don't want to see more drama from these two guys. I absolutely like and appreciate.

I think pigeonholing Ken in as an options trader is somewhat minimizing his strategies. Ken is a long term investor first and foremost.

However, I think he wants to be able to insulate people from the psychological torture of buying a stock and seeing it go down immediately. His targets imply that SPY can go down 15% and TSLA can go down 41%. For a regular person, seeing your money get destroyed could shake you out of the market forever.

Tom. You should not condone sasha personal attack on ken.If sasha wanted to argue about ken’s take , then stick to that. I see no reason why he has to talk about his past nor show old videos to fit his narrative.

I am with Sasha as far as the DCA reinvest strategy is concerned but the way he trashes chicken is extreme and ridiculous.

Yup.. Sasha woulda been cool if he stayed cool, but that fool lost his cool and sounded like a bully.. like name calling. Lost all credibility.. now inwanna call him a dimnass moron. That’s what happens when you open the door to childish tactics like name calling

Sasha is a beeatch. I love bullying a bully and he's some sort of self appointed saviour of youtube. You've hyped up BS stocks as much as the next man, but he's never crossed the line with you.. probably cause you got a big mouth unlike Ken. He's a passive aggressive little girl.. he's Barbie

Shasha is using Kens popularity on YT to misrepresent what Ken is saying and clickbait his way to a sensational story and more views . Ken does a quick 2 minute video and Shasha spends 15 minutes ripping at Ken . Anyone can do that , its easy to attack another person . Shasha follows up on Kens 2nd 2 min video . He is preying on Ken and its quite disgusting that he has to do this to make a living on YT. Ive watched Shasha without subscribing because he is an arrogant opinionated Donkey who thinks only he is right. I hope it backfires on Shasha and he loses subs and all credibility as a decent human being. Tom , can you punch Shasha in the face for me and tell him to STFU and find better ways to get his opinions across without attacking others. Shasha is boring AF to listen to at the best of times even though his knowledge is sound and if the only way he can grow his channel is to attack others he should just give up now before he is hated by half the planet 😂.

These food fights fit for 7th graders is not why I come to YouTube. I come to increase my knowledge about stocks, companies and the markets. I don't understand why the name-calling from Sasha, but it is true that Ken has a long habit of humorously deriding people that don't gamble as he does. Did he 'know' that Tesla would be a big deal? Did Dave Lee or Rob Maurer? No, they took a gamble and won. As Lee admits and Elon admits, Tesla nearly went out of business. Anyhow, in my opinion both Sasha and Ken have big egos.

Sasha is very rich. He has the money to buy the dip 10 times. Chicken is trying to save us from buy the dip becos we have limited cash unlike "billionaire" Sasha.

"You can't time the market". A very often used phrase. But it actually means "I can't time the market". Unless you have checked everyone else on this planet, you can never be sure. I think Jim Simons is the greatest market timer ever. But hey, that's just me.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shayn Yoe says:

Such a good video because I think you're right about them arguing on different points.
I hope they can sort it out!

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nui Nui says:

If your trying to time the market (ken) why doesn’t he open short positions if he’s so confident things will keep going down ?

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Equity says:

The real sad part is, you encouraged Sasha to make the video.

    1. You are both of their friends.

    2. You know they’re both different traders/investors.

So of course you had to say something and speak out.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars brakmaster says:

I'm 100% with Ken on this one. Whether one or the other is right it doesn't matter. But Sasha going after Ken and launching personal attacks against Ken (of all people) is disgusting and I cannot approve of that behavior. If I was Ken I would never accept to get on a zoom call with Sasha.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Yongshen Choo says:

Every youtuber has the right to his opinion and thinking about the market. Audience can choose to follow or not at their own risk. They cannot blame the youtubers.

But sasha calling out ken as a scammer is just idiocy. If he doesnt know which direction the market will be, how does he even purport to know how another person is a scammer?

Exaggerating in order to get more views is not scamming? complete idiot

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Geo _ says:

We need to see boxing matches with all this financial drama 😂😂😂😂

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jason K says:

This is a desperate attempt by Sasha to get more views/subscribers, period.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Pegaroo says:

Sashas NOT saying Chicken is wrong. Sashas problem is that Chicken is giving DIRECT "do this now" financial advice with none of the usual YouTube "this might be the ramblings of a mad man" disclaimers

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Macht Nichts Sei Mann says:

So, basically Chicken as short-term trader VS Sasha as long-term investor. Sasha is right to call out Chicken's absolutist doomsday timing-the-market opinion. ( Going into Chicken's background is a gray area. He is assessing Chicken's credibility, if acting in good faith. Otherwise, why bring it up. ) Chicken was whining about Sasha challenging him. So what? Grown men can handle or deflect a verbal cheapshot without letting their ego be bruised. If Chicken has nothing to be ashamed of, then let Sasha flap his gums. But, if Chicken is suddenly defensive, then maybe he is spewing some bullsh*t.

P.S. – It would at least be "good YouTube" to see you moderate a debate between these two guys. If they are man enough to do it. Maybe one or both of them are disingenuous.
