Hey this is tom, and let's talk about palantir, so the past 96 hours proved one thing, unfortunately, which is alex carp, even though everybody mocked him was 100 right about his predictions. Regarding where we're headed as a society and as a global community, he kept saying for the past two years that we're going to a more chaotic, more messy world, more conflicts, more logistical nightmares, basically, a world where simple actions, international borders are going to be a challenge. Both in the commercial side and on the government side now i say this with a great deal of sadness because i honestly did not want him to be right because as much as i love me, some volunteer - and i do it's not about that. For me, like i'd, rather, the world be a better place and all of us have a better life and not have to deal with the second coming of the ussr or whatever the the guys are doing over there.

I'd rather have a world without that, even though you know my palette, investment might not pan out so much. I honestly do i mean i lived through the horrors of the cold war, and i don't want that. What would it be for me to be a volunteer millionaire in the world where everything goes to, but, unfortunately it seems like that's what we're getting right now. Russia's ukrainian actions are just the beginning of what seems to be a new world order where russia and china, iran, potentially syria.

Although syria and belarus are not really independent countries anymore, they just annex to russia, but you have this new world order forming. Essentially a new cold war is brewing and you'll have the eastern bloc the western bloc pretty much you know. Sadly, at the age of 40. I started to realize that history do repeat itself uh.

It seems like we're going back to the cold war or some version of it, and in that aspect alex kept, saying hey, the pilot is going to be the most important software company in the world now mind. You, he didn't say the biggest software company in the world. He said the most important one. Now i personally think that they might be the biggest in 10 to 15 years um, but that's a whole different discussion and i think that what happened in the past 96 hours proves why that is actually what's going to happen.

And unfortunately, unfortunately, his prediction was correct, because what just happened is basically that intersection where palantir is at, which is cyber security right, ai data, defense, military logistics and organizational data of a complete chaos, new unfolding situations. Being you know, new rules being written? All of these things, uh, are basically tailor made for a company like palantir volunteer, thrives in chaos and uncertainty, not to mention the fact that the company is built like a fortress alex has been fortifying the company for a black swan event. For years he bought up gold remind yourself anybody, so he bought up a lot of gold and and also the balance sheet is completely clean of debt. So the company is basically it's cash flow, positive, 420 million dollars of free cash flow, so the company is built for hard times.
Their solution is basically made for hard times and the main challenge that they had - and i mentioned this in my previous videos - is that their total addressable market outside the us was very limited because nobody liked them in europe. Europe has become this pacifist, basically liberalistic a little more war kind of uh continent and that's fine. The problem is that's what we've been trying to tell europe. Is that hey guys, listen, it's okay to be peaceful, but if somebody's coming to your property with the intention to take your or your life, and it's not going to help you to speak to them and try to calm the situation down.

If you don't have a stick, any sort of diplomatic solutions, don't work. If you don't have a leverage, if you don't have an alternative, if you, if you don't, have the threat - and i just spat on my screen again - why every video i make i spit on my screen at least once anyways - i'm not gon na redo this video, It um i already just demonetized it by saying it. Basically, europeans have miscalculated. I think that part is.

You have to have a military option. If you want to have a diplomatic solution, now they've grossly underspent military defense - i mean germany - mainly it was a joke. Um. The biggest economy in europe completely, you know a joke over spending on military and defense, basically saying we don't need the we don't need to protect ourselves, everything will be fine um and also they hate volunteer for being exactly the opposite.

As far as conceptually volunteers, the kind of company that says hey, we have to prepare, you know if, if palantir in europe are two neighbors living next to each other, and europe is that neighbor that says yeah everything will be okay and palanti is the neighbor. That's building a bunker stocking up on on on thin foil cans of food and water supply builds themselves. A tunnel buys a shitload of guns, so one is a preparer and the other one is just a relaxed kind of a normal human being, and it seems like the preparer was right in this case at least so. Europe will now basically have to open itself and basically say well: okay, palantir is not as bad as we thought, plus.

We need you right now, so europe and germany is just the beginning. Germany, just on friday, said that they're going to spend 100 billion dollars - 100 billion dollars - sorry 100 billion euros, that's about 112 billion dollars on military spending this year, that's literally double more than double of their defense budget. Also they're going forward. They're gon na spend two percent of the gdp on military.

That's a 40 increase in their military spending and that's just germany everybody's going to follow suit. I mean even countries like sweden and denmark now realize hey. We have a problem with this russia thing and so as defense military cyber security in europe. Actually they start to figure out.
Hey there's actually some bad guys here, it's not about you know, let's just kumbaya around the campfire, there's actually bad guys with guns, and we have to protect ourselves against them. Palantir's total addressable market, both in the government and the commercial side, is going to increase exponentially in europe, where i think their biggest weakness was because whether you're a government and you need gotham or your company, that's operating in europe, and you need solutions to how to Move goods in this craziness no fly zones right, wartime, cold war, borders. Whatever is going to happen. A lot of uncertainty and logistical supply chains are going to be a mess, so i think, volunteer.

I don't know what happens with the stock price in the next year and i neither know or care, but if i look at the next decade i think valentina is definitely shaping up to be one of the most important software solutions on the planet. I mean it's a no-brainer, so kudos for alex carp for predicting this. I was hoping that he's wrong because i'd rather my palette investment go to than to live in a world. That's chaotic, but you know the world and our parents is two things we don't choose.

We get the parents that we get, we get the world that we get even some. I say the people are now getting what they deserve. It's. I don't subscribe to that point of view, but it's going to be really challenging for the next decade and let's see what happens.

But in any case, i think you know i'm that's kind of my theory and you may disagree and that's okay and you don't need to buy volunteer stuff. But that's my theory why? I think palantir, just over the past 96 hours doubled their rest of the world. Tam government and commercial - and i think certain institutionals will try to uh play that down, so they can load up on volunteer. I almost am confident that what's going to happen right now is the slow realization that palantir is undervalued, but it's going to take time.

Look tesla traded flat for two years before people realize hey, the stock isn't catching up with the company and it is what it is. I have patience, i don't mind uh, if you don't, you know, invest elsewhere, no problem, so kind of sharing my thoughts here and this beautiful morning, i'm safe by the way for those who ask for my well-being, we're safe. Everything is fine and we're good. Don't worry about it, see you soon.
