Hey this is tom. Welcome back if this is your first time here. This is how we run things here. We basically give away everything in the first 30 seconds and then we go to the deep analysis.
So don't click, nothing, don't smash, nothing don't buy nothing. We ain't got no courses, nothing to sell, just listen so, first of all the 30 second recap of everything you're gon na hear in this video, including the bottom line, because i know you got to do so. Let's get started number one. Jerome powell got renominated as the new fed chair, and i think this nomination is pretty much issuing, there's literally more chance that trevor milton ever gets back to being the ceo of nicola than john paul.
Not getting this nomination it's in his end and in this video i'll, explain why. I think this confirms my theory about tapering starting between february and may hang on a second i'll get to it in a second also. We got kathy wood talking openly about how gm ford will either go bankrupt or will have to some sort of emerge or some sort of a restructuring deal in order to survive in the next five to six years, because of what's going on with the eevee market. She didn't specifically name tesla, but she basically said well.
These guys will have to readjust, because in the current structure it's going to be possible for them to compete. I'll explain why in this video, but i will give you a taste: we have gm the winners in the ev market. According to president biden, slippy joe actually went on tv and called gm, the winners and the leaders, and yet two days after they just shut down the eevee factory that manufactures the bolts. Remember the chevy bolt the hottest car in the market.
It literally caught fire. Everybody were fired up about it. The tesla killer is now officially dead. They shut down the plant until further notice, at least at the end of the year, they're recalling every single of these vehicles, so we're going to talk about what's going on with gm and how hard it is to make a reliable good, competitive car in the eevee Market not even talk about the musktang mac e, which was a complete dud.
In my opinion, and by the way everything i said in this video is just my opinion might be. Accurate might be wrong. Why the grammys of a madman, you got ta research, i'm not a financial advisor, just a dude with an opinion. Also.
We have some interesting news coming out from elon musk elon musk, with a couple of tweets yesterday today that literally blew everybody away yesterday. He tweeted about the model s plaid, sending the stock price up today. He threatened to give a one star review on yelp to jp morgan following the lawsuit that they have against them very interesting stuff. Also, we have to talk about what's going on in turkey.
I think turkey is currently serving you a good example of what will happen if tapering doesn't start on time. If you around with inflation, turkey is a really good example of how things will go sideways really fast, and you completely lose control just to give you a hint. This country just lost about one third of its buying power. One third of the turkish lira are gone in 11 days, so that's a really good example of the snowball effect that is, hyperinflation, also we're going to talk about the five stocks according to goldman sachs, that will be less affected from the tech sector during tapering and I'm going to give it away right away, i'm not going to hide it to the end of the video just to raise my numbers. So it's paypal. It's facebook, sorry mera. Whatever it's google, it's zoom, it's marvel and it of course it is talenteer. So we're gon na go about that as well.
In this video we're gon na talk about why these specific companies were chosen by goldman sachs i'll, give you a hint it has anything to do with the revenue structure, with the margins and everything i basically laid out in my video, showing you why tesla is a Really good company for this metric surprise, goldman sachs, didn't add tesla to this. It seems a little bit flawed, but i have my guesses why i'm not gon na get into it in this video, but let's just get started so first of all, the fed nomination is in jerome powell won it all now. Basically, i mentioned this before. I think this fed race between him and the other candidate was basically a kind of a job interview where both candidates had to say what their stated policy is.
Now here's the thing uh biden is in a lot of trouble right now. His approval ratings are down. Uh, the things that happened overseas and afghanistan and whatnot only pushed it down. He went to the climate conference fell asleep i mean things are not working well for president biden.
The last thing he needs is a tapering during christmas day during christmas. It would be pretty much the end of his career, i mean as much as it still exists. This is going to be pretty much the end and that's why i think both candidates had to be very clear about what they're doing with the timeline. How far along are they willing to push it in order to allow pardon to actually kind of get things in order before they start tapering? Because, let me be honest with you: i'm surprised, jp went for this job because it's going to be worse than before, it gets better.
I mean this kind of job is not the job he took originally when you go and become the chair of the federal reserve during a time of the bull market and quantitative easing everybody loves you you're god's favorite child. I mean it's amazing. However, when you take this job during a time of tapering you're, pretty much the baddest, the meanest and the most hated person on earth - everybody hates you so him agreeing to take this job tells me two things number one he has balls got ta appreciate him for That number two, i think he told biden, he'll, play ball and he'll actually do it next year after christmas, after biden has a few brownie points, and i think that's why we're going to see it until february until may probably mid next year from february to may This is we're going to see it happening now. Here's the thing, i think what you'll have to do in the meantime, pow that is, is basically build. Consensus they'll have to slowly basically explain to every single person in the united states slowly and carefully. Why tapering? Even though it's going to be very painful and unpleasant is a necessary thing, they'll have to do, and i think the best thing that could have happened to jp is what's just happened in turkey because it serves as such a good showcase of what will happen if They don't start taping real soon now. What just happened in turkey is quite alarming, because it's kind of a stark reminder of how inflation can get out of hand real fast, so the turkish lira, not a currency, i'm usually dealing with on this channel, nor any other channel on the face of the planet. I mean it's going through some bad times so their president that looks like john cleese uh forgot his name.
I think it's erdogan. So basically the john cleese look alike went on tv in turkey and basically said well we're gon na lower interest rates. Even though inflation is basically going berserk, just to you know, make you guys happy and basically, what happened is that everybody with the brain in the financial industry started basically selling the turkish lira, because it's a dumbass move now the currency went down in the past 11 Days by 33, imagine what it means for a second. You just lost one third of your purchasing power in 11 days.
It's like somebody coming up to you and cutting your paycheck by one third leaving you with 66 of your salary. Just because - and this is just the beginning, this is what happens when you basically lose control over inflation when you don't slow the economy down on time. This is exactly what will happen if the fed will not be able to taper be careful. This is a really stark reminder now: let's talk about kathy wood for a second, she just came out and talked about ford and gm, basically saying well.
These legacy automakers will not be able to compete in their current structure in the next five to ten years unless they restructure unless they emerge, unless they combine forces whatever it happens, they'll either go broke or they have to completely restructure because in the current format that They have, they simply can't compete in the ev industry. It's kind of a known thing. We've covered this for many many times, but what's interesting is while she's talking about that. We have the bs festival coming out from president biden talking about how gm are the leaders and basically that, along with the consumer reports, ranking tesla 27 out of 28 brands in america for reliability.
So a lot of noise for mainstream media, about tesla and how gm are the leaders and while this whole festival of cluster fuckness was going on, jam actually shut down their plant, the factory where they were making the chevy bolts. It's done. It's closed indefinitely, at least until the end of the year they're, recalling every single car god forbid. I ever see this car on the road i'm running away, because this is literally the hottest car the most fired up car i've ever seen. I mean they literally set the industry on fire. I mean yeah. This was supposed to be the tesla killer. Just show you how much gm understands and evie eevee industry to assume that the chevy bolt could have been the tesla killer.
Uh, just as a moronic is to assume that the e was supposed to be the tesla killer, the car that you know, everybody knows how it ended up, not very successful, so they have a lot of explaining to do. They have a lot of work to do and i think kathy is right unless they restructure completely and adopt this new kind of mindset and maybe merge, maybe do some sort of restructuring reorganization spin-offs they're going to have a hard time competing with evs in general. It's not just tesla now, let's talk about what just elon did, and this is like mind boggling, so elon musk. We did two tweets in the last 48 hours and i can't decide which one is funnier.
Oh my goodness. So two days ago, he tweets that the model s plaid is sick and with multiple eyes, and then somebody asks him in the comments well elon. When is it coming to china? And then he said, i think, february or march, and it reminded me of the scene from romancing the stone for the old geezers. Like me, when ira dumps his brother, who was played by danny devito on the dock, running away from the cops and he's like ira, come back for me, it's like i'll come back for you when soon, how soon very soon so eventually elon actually gave a date And it was a i think, march of february and here's the thing stock price went up like crazy yesterday and people attributed to the street, although i think it has nothing to do with this toy, i think, was just kind of a half a joke.
I think the reason the stock price is rising. As i mentioned this, when the stock was four hundred dollars, it's because it's a fifteen hundred dollar stock, quite simply they're, about to announce three hundred thousand cars. This quarter quarter four they're about to do like three dollar earnings per share they're about to hit 1500. Everybody knows this.
The split sounds like it's coming soon, everybody's convinced. So i think that's why people are flocking to the stock. It's a really good stock. It's a really good company and it's still undervalued in my opinion, i know, there's certain trolls, who think that it's overvalued and you know good for them now.
He also tweeted at the ceo and chairman of jpmorgan, basically saying that if this lawsuit continues, i made a whole video why this lawsuit happens. Basically, jp morgan are suing tesla for not paying them enough on the warrants that they had and go check out this video. If you want more details, i'm going to repeat myself, but basically even twitter. If they keep suing us, i'm going to go and give them a one star, yelp review, which i thought was amazing. It kind of reminds me of a john mclean kind of ironman hybrid. Just laugh at the face of danger. I mean not anybody who's gon na get sued for 163 million dollars. He's gon na crack jokes on twitter got ta appreciate.
Elon got ta love the whole package. The dude is a monster, love him. If you don't like him, you know tough he's killing it now. For the final story of the day, goldman sachs came out with the number of companies they're actually covering as the inflation-proof tech stocks you want to hold during tapering.
As you know, tapering the interest rates go up, interest rates goes up, dcf valuations go down. If you have a lot of profits in the future, present values go down. So you know, stock price goes down so basically they're saying well these tech stocks, because the revenue and the revenue growth is impressive and because their margins are so good, their ability to raise prices are so good, they're going to survive and they're not going to be, As effective as other tech stocks - and they named a few paypal, paylentier google, facebook zoom marvel. Yes, i said palantir anybody with the brain understands that palantir belongs to the group of the stocks, they're not going to be that affected.
I explained why watch my tesla video. It's the same characteristics, the one thing i have a problem with with this analysis, other than the fact that it's a really good analysis is the fact that they completely left out tesla and then again, you know all mainstream media. They can't handle tesla. For some reason.
They can't give them the love and the respect i mean put some respect to the name. It's a company that can easily raise prices. They can ramp up production with zero capital investments with the new factories they have. They have almost no debt.
At this point. A lot of cash, a lot of cash flow, very profitable margins, going up revenue going up insane amount of growth. I mean why would you not include tesla in this list? I can't think of any reasons i mean other than not to piss off certain people, but just my opinion, i've been wrong might be, you know completely inaccurate might be making things up or imagining. Tom, it is a bit disconcerting to see every video you post has some clickbait title. Goes against your honest nature. π
Sleepy Joe!! Well that name is here to stay.. I smile every time I here it..I think White House press conferences will be at a nursing home soon..
hi, 1) Cathie better take care of her ETFs that just aren't doing well, 2) Tesla is the worst company on the market at these ridiculous prices. Thanks!
Guys, the US is protected vs. inflation, the rest of the world absorbs it. The FED can print as much money as they want with low consequences, donβt worry!!
Tom the quality of your videos in the last month is awesome. Tell like you see it and we will digest and decide
Why not mention JPows insider trading and fast loose internal policy enforcement, or his wall street criminal friends? Biden picked JPow because Jamie Dimon told him to, end of story.
Iβm Turkish , Iβve been watching you for a year Tom. Thanks for Turkish lira news
Erdogan isn't a John Cleese lookalike, he's a Gollum lookalike π Check out the memes, they are hilarious π
Elon is ''The Star''.;)))))).He's David Bowie & Prince in one…
Ford? I am doubtful. GM? Actually fairly possible, the lack of quality control between 2008 and 2021 is INCREDIBLE. A friends dad just bought a 2022 GMC 2500 Denali and after 1000 miles the seats are falling apart. He's trying to lemon law it so he can go buy a Ford. I used to be a GM guy and recently switched over to Ford. Ford has also already launched an electric truck, the first of its kind and is breaking a lot of records. Same with the Bronco. If it wasn't for the shortages, they would be selling Broncos in droves. GM hasn't had a megahit vehicle in a long, long time.
No tapering needed. Going to EVs and green a lot of ibfrastructure needed. Grid needs a hudge upgrade to 30% more capacity a lot of solar to be added massive power storage to be build. Inestments are hudge and will take out overprint. When they taper and dont subsidize that sector US is f..d since electicity prices wil bi to high and also all things made in US. Better get a bit inflation than build new grid at 10% intrest rate
Tom buddy!!! Can you please stop saying "this changes everything" click bait, click bait CLICK BAIT. you are the best, but when you put click bait titles…UNSUBSCRIBE, youtubers ARE the problem
While I agree Tesla is the best EV in the market, I wouldnt underestimate companies such as Ford, GM, VW to produce affordable and compatitve EVs. So, I think Tesla is overvalued. Sorry Tom. π
The only reason why I voted for Joe Biden is to make sure that the "fucking moron" (said Rex Tillersonπ€£) is not the president nowπ€£π€£π€£ But I completely agree that this Administration is botching their bet on the wrong people who think they can beat Elon Musk. The White House is still yet to answer all my inquiries about why they hate Tesla so much. I'm not really counting on it. That's why I never give money to support politician's campaign funds. I'll just buy Tesla Stocksπ
I've been saving for a while, so I can invest in stocks, came across a success story of an investors that made up to $700,000 in few months from investing just $250K and I'd really appreciate it if I could get clues and pointers on how to make better profit
If Goldman Sacks is telling you their picks? Its to protect their own investments.
cathie woods need's to quit running her mouth and manage her own fund. that five years out is always going to be five years out. I never should have bought in to her bulls**t.
(This comment changes everything)
Long time supporter, love the videos Tom

I find the stocks are cricket theey have power to broke small investers like me
Buffett has sold gm! This could be a replay of Kerkorian selling gm in "07-08" era…= BANKRUPTCY!!!
Heads up everyone, hold on to your beers…another bailout!?! It's about to get very ugly with a
possible replay!!! Go TESLA!!!
Tesla does not contribute to the Advertisement Economy that funds the Media Industry.
Tired of ppl talking smack about Chevy Volt, just because you canβt park inside a garage or next to any building. π€£ππ€£π
If Tesla could just fix the interior build of their cars and bring it up to luxury industry standards, they would have the perfect car. They need to sound proof their cabins better as well. Road noise is pretty noticeable.
No need for the "Sleepy Joe" comment…stick to commenting on stocks
