Machine, hey everyone me kevin here. It has been two years since i actively worked out, which is absolutely crazy. I of course blame kofid a lot of chocolate, lots of delicious drinks and fun times, but it's a problem. I can barely run anymore.
I can't really do any push-ups, i kind of suck at everything, so i decided to create a challenge. First, i want to show you that the last time i had a challenge like this, i had about 55 days and i'm going to show you before and after from. I believe this was september, we'll put the date up on screen september of 2019 to the first week november, 7th of 2019.. So i've been through a challenge like this before, but uh.
I've also never started at this point before, because i weigh more than i ever have before. I also can't really run that well and can't really do push-ups that well, because i'm now 29 and i spent two years - basically not working out thanks pandemic. But i can't just blame that i blame me as well. I spent a lot of time making videos just focusing on real estate, uh building wealth, making money stocks reading reading reading and it's kind of a grind, but now it's time to take a little bit of my life back and actually be a little healthy again.
So what i'm gon na do is create a new challenge, i'm starting at a worse place, so in by the end of the year, i'm not going to be at the same place. I was in november of 2019 and i know that i'm not trying to go on some crazy fad diet. I just want to get some strength back, so i'm gon na have a challenge, and i'm gon na reveal that challenge in a moment uh, but first, what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na try to do as many push-ups as i can, and then i'm Gon na reveal part one of two, my two-part challenge. If i fail my two-part challenge by december 31st, i will be shaving my head.
So that's my motivation because the last time i shaved my head, i ended up walking around as bob from runescape uh or the the default level. Three guy. I think people nicknamed them bob, but basically the bot, the runescape bot that everybody copying case uh. I don't really want to not have hair again on my head, so yeah i've got some motivation.
I've only got 39 days, though, and this is not a diet challenge. I want to make that very clear. It's not like uh lose as much weight as possible. It's just uh the weight doesn't matter.
It's can i get to my push-up goal and can i get to my run goal so goal number one is i have to be able to do 200, push-ups non-stop and goal number two is. I have to be able to run an under six minute mile now back when i was in high school, the fastest mile that i ever ran was six minutes and 17 seconds, so i'm actually trying to be in better shape than i was in high school in 39 days and i'm starting out way worse so, in other words, i've got a lot of work to do, and it's not going to be particularly easy, especially since you're about to see the complete disaster of my starting point so again. In order for me not to shave my hair by december 31st, i have to do both do 200, push-ups in a row without stopping uh, and i have to run an under six minute mile. Now, maybe i'll do those on separate days or maybe just like a few hours apart? That's okay, uh have a little bit of break in between the two is fine, but the six minutes has to be done or in under six minutes. The mile has to be running under six minutes together in one piece, and the push-ups have to be done together in one piece uh, so i'll show you now kind of like how bad i am do you want to hop off that for a second, maybe come Down here a little bit so i'm horrible, i it's gon na, be very embarrassing. What one of the reasons i remember, how or i recall how embarrassing this is going to be is when we did the 32-hour livestream for the campaign. I did push-ups in the office and i kind of like burned out after like 15., so i don't even know if i'm gon na get to 15 right now, because it's even worse since then, but i'm gon na try anyway, okay, okay, here i go. Can i come a little closer lord okay here we go, let's see how many can do.
Okay, let's try to do good, high quality push-ups here, no cheating, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven twelve thirteen fourteen we're doing good so far! Fifteen sixteen 17. 18. 19. 20.
21. 22. 23. Oh 25.
26. 27. 28., i'm losing here. Okay, i failed.
I failed at my age at 29.. Well, that'd be a good way to remember how far i've come if i made it. So these are the two challenges: let's see how i can do what i'm gon na do right now is uh lauren's gon na hop on a segway and we're just gon na fast forward me running a mile to see how miserable i am i'm gon na use. I'm gon na hit play and fast forward this at the end of the mile, we'll see how horribly did a little out of breath. So i feel like i'm cheating myself a little bit since i can't believe i'm saying i'm out of breath after putting on push-ups pretty embarrassing. So i got a long way to go but uh. I want to do a fitness challenge before the end of the year.
Rather than like a new year's resolution, because that never works okay ready here, we go uh. I feel terrible. Ah, so super lots of cramps hi headed eight minutes ten seconds. That's lauren's birthday, yeah, it's a it's your age and push-ups.
In my birthday, oh i mean, i guess, that's cool, you know. What's really depressing got ta whisper this one i burned, 125 calories. Okay, i have more than that in a break of a kitkat and that euphoria doesn't last that long yeah. So that's pretty rough.
Now the elevation changes a little bit there, so we'll have to make sure we start the same point last time, but now i'm pooped it's pretty rough. Oh yeah, the cramps are good and uh yeah. I would say uh if you want me to make progress updates as to how this is going. I don't know if i should do photos or what during this process, let me know if you care about that, but uh yeah. I remember boys had to run a mile under 7 mins for Presidential fitness awards so Your mile time was super impressive imo & some people can’t even do one push-up like that.
Remember Kevin you are so dedicated to offer your family with financial stability, much respect ✊🏼 for everything you are doing I suggest to take it step by step don’t go hard at your self progress happens by consistently I’m pretty sure you are aware about that more than me

Dude your body looked sick in that after pic which is super impressive to do in 2 months.
Luckily your body will go bk to that Nov 19 pic really quickly because of muscle memory.
Bruh you cannot do 200 push ups without stopping. I can do around 70 and I trained for a long time

Kevin you have a rump on your back. I suggest you seat on a pilates ball instead of a chair, and watch your posture.
Push up form are bad, get some coaching, you can afford it!

Make it 70 legit push-ups. And Make sure your chest is hitting the ground and not your head if you watch the video you had your head and neck way forward and when you do it that way you aren’t getting the full range of motion so you will develop your muscles in properly

Sounds like 200 push-ups is impossible with proper form per people in comments. Might revise this to 60-75 with proper form. I want it to be a challenge but also realistic – I didn’t know 200 was near impossible, but it makes sense
