So kathy wood just bought 1.5 million shares of palantir actually yesterday and the reason i'm doing this video is because i don't want you to get too excited about this. It's nothing out of the ordinary i'll, explain why, when she sold off 1.25 million shares of volunteer on november 2nd, i told you from my patreon community and channel members: don't get too bummed out about it because she runs an etf. The price dictates the holdings, an etf has a certain risk, balance preference that it has to maintain and when a certain stock gets too big, it gets a little bit. Trimmed no stock can get too big because it's gon na with the risk profile of the etf.

It's simple as that, unless you're tesla, by the way in that case, obviously there's a little more leniency, but it's a whole different video. So, basically, on november 2nd she sold off 1.25 million and people were like well she's selling off, because she knows the q3 numbers are going to be trash which, by the way, did not happen. Q3 numbers were phenomenal, so now she buys 1.5 million and the reason is because of the dip she sold off after a 10 12 run up. She bought the stock at 23 or 24.

She sold off at 27 and now she's buying back at 24.25. So basically she's buying the dip, but it's nothing really to point out that she's more or less in love with the company or not. She still has it at the 13th position in the fund, still almost 1 billion dollars of volunteer stock, but this latest 1.5 million buy isn't really buying the tip because she loves the company is just an adjustment of the etf. She can get more valentine at a reasonable price and not with the risk of the entire fund.

So that's the whole thing there now the reason she's actually buying. It, though, is because she knows it's a good company. I mean it was a. You know a situation that the company was trash.

She wouldn't have bought this 1.5 million. So it is true that in the sense that it points to high conviction from kathy wood, but i don't think that high conviction just started now: it's it's been there for a long time now i am going to post a whole video about the storm debacle crunch Fest, that was the q3 conference, call i'm probably not going to be on good terms with champ sankar. After this video, i don't think i'm getting invited to the christmas office party of valentia anytime soon, but i'm going to call it like. I see it so i think he had a consider him like a coach right.

So sham is the coach of this soccer team right. He has an all-star cast and then he does nothing with it. He had brilliant q3 numbers and he absolutely shut the bed. Shamans batman's cutting edge 57 000 times, not answering straightforward questions.

Everything is scripted. Everything is mechanical, it could have been a pre-recorded call for what i care. It was horrible and even for the little portion at the end when he was actually asked real questions, but real analysts. He just dodged the questions, especially by alex zuken, who asked him something i really wanted to know, which is the breakdown government commercial.
Now, luckily, for you, i can read financial reports and i read through the entire bundle that they submitted to the sec and have extracted these numbers, even though they didn't put this in their freaking presentation. So i have the numbers i'll post it soon. The breakdown between government commercial, how much commercial grew, how much government grew? What's the breakdown between them, how much of it is commercial? How much is government and basically, what's going on with plant concentration? Also, i also extracted these numbers, so i have everything for you in this video and the numbers are good, there's spoiler alert. I mean all of this got better.

This quarter versus previous quarter so no reason not to be transparent about it, because when you just lack transparency, it means that you're hiding something so either. This dude was so overwhelmed and tried to get over, prepared and scripted everything to the point where he was robotic or he's an idiot. I have no idea which option is better because i would have loved to see alex carp communicate these numbers. I think he would have done a better job.

In fact, i think a ping pong table would have done a better job. Communicating these these numbers, because the quarter was phenomenal. Company grew cash by 400 million assets to liabilities ratio of one to three more assets than liabilities. Numbers are phenomenal: 50 growth in the uh q2 q3 versus q2 q3.

Last year i mean insane numbers, there's so much to work with, and so little has been done. For me, he gets an f for that call and i think he is probably predominantly responsible for the 10 dip, but i'm not complaining about the on a stock like cafe. I hope you did as well so wait for. My video is coming out later today with the full breakdown of the financials.

In fact, i'm going to do sham's job. I think this is what he needed to do in the call i'm going to do it a little bit later on today.

You are probably correct but the bottom line right now is the stock is down 20% in 3 days and now an analyst (RBC Capital analyst Rishi Jaluria) downgraded the stock with a target price of $19…..I am holding on in hope for better days…..

PLTR will soon make the deathly cross below 200ma, don't buy anytime soon. Also, if these guys are so arrogant now, can't imagine how they sound like with their customers.

Yeah really is a shame. I bought some calls today after seeing it dip again to add to my stock position. I don't really don't think this 10%+ dip is justified it wouldn't surprise me if we recover by the end of the year.

Sold 1/3 of my position when it hit 27 a share because I was so over the stock, not the company. Took my profits. Then I wake up today to a buying op with the same monies ๐Ÿ˜… lucky I guess.

Same with AMRS, a position I started to build around 14 dollars. Yesterday it dipped extremely on the news of special warrants 9 dollar. I was soooo mad that Fidelity account had some arbitrary restriction on my account. This morning it settled and the stock dipped even further, offering a better price than yesterday, below 8 dollars. Now itโ€™s moving up from the morning lows ๐Ÿ˜…

The market is many things, including luck ๐Ÿ€

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Felix H. says:

It's a good company , but its management is zero for communicating with shareholders. Either they're incompetent in basic communication, or they don't give a damn about shareholders. Your opinion?

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alex Rodriguez says:

Is 15% growth considered good for Growth stock? Seems to me that they havent solved their scaling issue. Love the companyโ€™s technology, but are they executing.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lars VonGraff says:

Tom maybe one day soon you can make a video about how to play trades or investments when earnings calls are happening. Sounds from your take and the vast amount of comments I have looked over that this is the example of what not to do (for the company that is).

    PALANTIR TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dennis Shulz says:

I did my best to listen to the whole call end to end. Couldn't do it. At times I was so bored and frustrated by the continuous and seemingly never-ending RA-RA session, I had to fast-forward. I found myself thinking "wait, is this an EARNINGS conference call, or a marketing pitch at a tech convention?" Shayam Sankar sounded super robotic snd "fake" the entire time, felt like I was listening to an infomercial. Last but certainly not least, I'm starting to, as an investor, get offended about Alex Karp not being on these calls, so I can only imagine how the analysts feel. Why doesn't he attend? Wtf? I don't know, I'm still an investor for now, but this BS makes me not wanna add anymore to my position…

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Play with Luca says:

Why don't you make videos to promote silver/gold stocks? There is more potential that your PALANTIR AND OTHERS SHORT TERM!

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars mitchell.fox24 says:

I dumped a few shares today. Basically a wash sale. Itโ€™s just time to get out of the market. Especially growth stocks. I have to reduce my exposure.

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars user299792 says:

So Cathie got 250,000 shares of Palantir for free, except fees. Cool.

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tom Nash says:

Fair disclosure: I bought 10k PLTR stock yesterday at 23.97$ per share.
