SPI Stock was definitely the low float stock runner all traders have been waiting for. The stock ran from $2 to $40's, only a 4000% gain! It was a major short squeeze got lots of short sellers margin called and blowing up. I did lose money shorting SPI stock premarket and at the open. But after the stock reclaimed $4 and kept trending up with volume, I finally started buying the dips and longed SPI. SPI stock definitely brought back lots of small cap market momentum, like other energy penny stocks like SUNW, POLA, SGBX.

So we woke up this monday to a ton of gap, downs market gap down tesla got gap down. I think nkla was gapping down due to which founder and uh was a scene ceo, stepping down from the board following the accusations from the hindenburg shorts report. So that's devastating for the stock right. If the founder steps down from board member the thing is a stock gap down from 34 all the way down to 22 23 and then 24.

So you know you have to expect a bounce at the open and i did expect it, but i still got in too early and starter size, which i was able to cut relatively quickly. The trade started with the shorts first and then, once we start reclaiming this 27 level, i had to cut it for a loss. You know i started re-shorting, some, that's still not the top. I called it for and i lost again so i got it too wrong.

Two times, first before seeing that okay, like this, is a clear 29 resistance, also the the high of the day pre-market once we start spiking we're rejecting 29. That's where i started scaling him using the 29 as risk, but the stock didn't just tank right. You can see you know, we got some support around 2780s good thing, i covered some into it and we really quickly, you know, squeeze back up to a clear double top. You know i didn't add here just in case this starts, keep on going all the way to 30 dollars.

Then in that case, then i'll have to cut the rest of my shorts for a loss. But after seeing this rejection, you know i scaled him short. Some more so i got some very nice downsides 28 dollars and the goal is to start shorting the bounces, not a good, add here, but after after the bounce here above the wab 28 dollars, where i went in back in again into a short that was out. Most of the short position here into the covers, i tried to reshore it here and we showed it here, but i was holding up pretty firm, so i was out on the trade on the initial short in the morning.

The second trade, it's a smaller trade. For me is oracle, so this is actually a small winner. It looks like one of those zelda news events when trump did approve of their deal to buy parts of tick-tock, and you can see the stock gapped up to all-time highs to 65, but we're just fading down pre-market, and that's why you know that's why i was Saying you know if we to go long, it really has to start curling and holding above 62. Dollars has to start holding right if it's stays in a downtrend which it did the entire day.

You don't want to fight it. You don't want to pick bottoms, because my main focus on the day was actually work. Worse, you can see on the daily charts. You know.

We've been going grinding up from twenty dollars all the way to thirty one dollars. It's also for trades with tesla really really closely so today pre-market. I did start some small, but i got squeezed out very quickly right. You can see.

I got squeezed out on small size pre-market. I was out over the shorts, but this is where i started. Seeing that okay, you know, like this momentum, we're not saying that we're not staying and holding up the greens right. If you look at over here after hours on friday, we're not holding the highs and that's why i went in short, scalding again put back my original pre-market size, but at the opening was extremely heavy and that's why i added back in and man this flushed down To 29 super fast, i was not fast enough to cover this.
I wish i had gotten that and that would have you know, being a very nice win so early on, but unfortunately that wasn't the case, but i did start reshoring the bounces and paying myself around this level. The stock was not easy to play i'll. Just say that i did stop out for tiny, tiny gains here, just because you know i had thought that we're gon na retest 29 flush, like we did around 10 30, but really quickly, squeeze back up to you know previous day close, so i literally, i just Have to stop out of rest of the position around this area is where i started scaling back in again with small size right. I don't.

I want to be wrong on small size, so i'm only adding back to my short position after i'm proven right and that's what i did here. So that's why i'm not picking tops here because it did seem like it could hold green and go up and squeeze up higher and squeeze out all the shorts, in that case i'll be wrong on small size. But after this rejects. That's why i add it back.

In and i got a very nice sell-off back to you - know 30 dollars and 29's. It was holding here for a while, but i did get some re-ads. Basically, i'm working around a core short position right, so i'm covering on partial sizes. But overall i had a nice average about 29 90s after all these ads.

So i'm very happy about that. You know covered into the flush. The idea is that you know i don't want to miss this kind of cover again, but i did cover some, but i was holding a majority down here so didn't bottom ticket, but i did i was so out of it by here. 28 40s.

I tried to scalp it again over here, and this is why i did give back some profit. I did try to scalp it and see if we're gon na you know re-test lower when i start to rebound. That's why you know like i want to be out of this short position, so i did give back some small size, i'm gon na revisit and i tried it again near the end. They just no didn't.

It was like five cents, maybe ten cents. Overall, it was a very nice stock to trade. Unfortunately, a lot of squeeze moves. So if you were short, you'll get squeezed out yeah like i did, but you can always go back in after you know.

Everyone else got squeezed out so that was kind of the idea here, so unfortunately, i'm small red on the day, so it is a red day. Recap. I think today is one of those really choppy days just like yesterday, and the stock that put me read on the day is uh workhorse wkhs. I actually made money early on well.

I i like to slowly scale into the trade right and this stock, like the bids, are holding very firmly and each time it tanks it just gets, propped right back up, so it doesn't. It doesn't trade in a in a clear trend until of course, now that we look at it, but at the time like each breakdown, there's a very, very long consolidation and it just seems like they want to prop it back up to break out again. So that's why i ran into trouble. I still made money um, you know some trades, but you can see.
I tried to go back in that's where i go. Give back some profit again rate rate on the day from this ticker. So overall it's a manageable loss. Small loss on the name, but you know it's kind of frustrating - to see the stock tanking after hours, along with tesla down to 26 dollars, but it is what it is.

You can only manage your risk in trading the other stock. That was actually a very small win early on and i gave it all back as bl and k, so i started short pre-market. I got squeezed out on the starter. Size no worries i restored it up here.

Around 970s covered some, i re-added and then covered here, and i should have just left it alone and go and trade workhorse. I kind of had some secondary shorts. I can see here where i'm kind of trading workhorses my main trade, so i did give back a lot of profit on the shop here and here, even though you know when i go back and revisit it's like smaller size. But still it's you know today is one of those days where it's like death by a thousand paper cuts.

So but i had a nice re-short here and then covered into the flush here, but i did get um chopped up here, so this trade ended up being a very small win. Nothing really worth talking about. Oh, oh, my god. What a day um the play of the the day was spi and i have to say that we being we are overdue, for i guess a low float runner like this.

This ran, i think, at 1.3 000 the stock traded at 120 yesterday and ran up all the way to 46 dollars. So this is some major short squeeze going on and i think a lot of big shorts got blown out and and for transparency. I lost money on short side early on pre-market and at the open, but right after i reclaimed four dollars over here. That's when i realized okay, like this something's, going on with the stock.

This is not normal four dollars, so the loss on the short side was over here. Okay, here's the thing: this stock was actually very hard to borrow pre-market god. I only got like a thousand shares at cobra and another thousand center point. Good thing i didn't use.

My center point at all, but anyways, even with a thousand shares, if i you know spit, if i split it up into you, know 300 300 300 shares. If i had held it up all the way to 40 30. I would have blown up still right. This is, this is a pretty pretty decent runner right ran from no two dollars all the way to 46..

I cut my losses early on it sucks to lose, even though, if you look at the daily chart honestly, i did not see this turning into a long, but it did later on. So i was shorting this. I lost money on the front side short once four dollars started holding after about 10 o'clock. This is where i was really realizing that okay, you know what i need to go long, the stock.
Well, this is kind of hard to explain, but i had a lot of scalp loans and i actually went on break around here. Scalp loans. I went on break around lunch time. I had thought that you know like the play is probably done and when we hit nine dollars and then we dropped to seven dollars, actually lost some money on the long side as well when that dropped, but overall on the stock, i'm green on the long side.

The last couple thousand dollars on the short side from my initial short pre-market and at the open, but thankfully i never went back to try to reshort it. I came back after around uh one o'clock and i see the stock going parabolic and i just hopped in all along. I had a long hair sold some and i sold most of it because come on, let's be real. Nobody would have thought that this is actually going to take off to 40 dollars, but up here this is where it becomes very scary and parabolic i'm still joining on a long, but i'm reducing my size to a lot smaller share sizes.

At this point right, i'm still joining the trend playing the volume parabolic move to the upside. I made it as far as uh 33 dollars, so you know missed the cell too. You know all the way to 40s, but hey i'm really happy about this loan from you know, 22's added some more and uh out at this point. So a lot of times when this happens, when you know when it seems like you know it's a little bit too simple, you just buy the dip and selling the rip.

I know i'm gon na start making mistake and i made a pretty big mistake on the first unhold. The goal was to long um around twenty dollars. Nineteen dollars mark. No, i end your way too early at 25 and there's no way i'm gon na keep on holding this.

This could have dropped all the way down to 12. So no, i cut my losses and never revisit the stock anymore after this. So usually, when i make a big mistake, i step back and i just i'm just done with the stock, but overall, i'm still very happy that i never shorted the stock after you know covering for a pretty you know decent loss after you know four four dollars: You got ta, you cannot fight the trend, even though the stock is not exactly a low float. I think the float is probably like seven or ten between seven to ten million shares floats and it kind of varies.

You know yahoo finance find this and trade ideas. The market cap is only 15 million, so this is a sort of stock that can be very easily manipulated and when everyone has trapped a lot of shorts over here and let's be real - i got trapped here. Pre-Market and i'd be open too. They could really do some major damage on the squeeze, so a lot of shorts short locates actually opened up around this time very interestingly, and later on, when everyone piled on the short.
That's when we got this major short squeeze from you know, ten to forty dollars is absolutely insane but amazing. At the same time, because i think tomorrow this is gon na, you know - wake up a lot of other small caps in a similar sector, electric vehicle sector. So we'll see what happens so i think in comparison to the actions we had yesterday today was a little bit boring because i mean spi was the only runner on the day yesterday and that's also the reason it squeezed from four dollars to you know 40, something Dollars, but today this morning we had so many gappers we had um. One of them is n-e-t-e this one just faded all day, the other one.

We had some w this one, also kind of just spiked. At the open i mean it was a decent spike from 440 to eight dollars. I mean okay, that's a very decent, that's almost 100, but it kind of just you know, broke down after 10 o'clock and then failed. So i didn't get in on this one.

I was trying to get long um pola, similar idea, similar setup i actually went along. The stock is kind of low floating. That's why i got stopped out a little bit a little bit too quickly. My stops in hindsight was kept a little bit too tight, but i i was thinking that okay, we might, you know, try to reclaim the highs and then spike higher, but i didn't do that.

It just kind of failed all day. So i mean hindsight, it looks like a better short, but the short i was focusing on was an ete. I showed it some scalp pre-market, but i wanted to wait for the open. I shorted start some here and then i don't know why i covered right away, and actually i was out of my shorts here.

This is where i actually tried the long you can see. The entry is pretty decent around 11 30. It did spike to 1240s, but i was looking for potentially you know 13 and because this is a low float stock that had a history of doing this and you know retest the highs, but we didn't get that so i stopped off for a small win. Actually flipped short and then here i was covering my shorts and i just reshorted it on the spikes and no similar story, and then i just faded down to eight dollars by end of the day.

So you know i'm disappointed on the runners on the day. To be honest, the other stock that i traded on alongside and was huge disappointment at tiny starter size, pre-market pen on this gap down on offerings news and with the entire market. I was thinking that you know we had a major gap down from 69. All the way to you know 63's pre-market.

I was thinking we're gon na get a morning push and i did get long full size right here at the open. I had a starter, but it's just very small pre-market. I didn't get long here and then you know spiked all the way to you know 65 60s and i was telling people i was trading with in my chat room that hey you guys, should sell some. At least lock something at 65 50s, and the funny thing is that, right after i told them that the stock dropped - and i couldn't get out myself so it's kind of funny how this works.
So, unfortunately, i stopped out for a small loss. In hindsight you know i should have re-entered after this stock reclaimed, v-wap and spiked. You know all the way to 68 - that's a pretty decent game from 64 to 68, but would love because i should have kind of wish. I stayed was a little bit more patient with this trade, so small loser on this one, but other than that, oh nkla.

So this stock, i made money early on the short side on the spike from 16, all the way to 19. sold off some, and then this is where i see that okay, it's rejection, rejecting previous levels and that's why i went in short, had a nice short From 1850s average down to 1790s, trying to re-hit some and then cover for a small loss after we're reclaiming 18 and going reversing the trend essentially try it again here didn't work, and i just didn't want to. I just didn't want to like touch it anymore. After, like so many retries here here here here, which all did take away some profit from the morning, even though i did downsize as a day goes on just because i know usually, i start making mistakes after after the first trade, and also after midday and lunchtime Hours so there's just kind of some rules i have for myself, because i know myself.

I know myself as a trader and you should know too. You should create some of these rules for yourself that you follow, so you can stay disciplined and stay green on the name, so it's friday very nice way to end the week. We started a day with two leading runners: well, maybe not runners, but at the time they showed up on my trade idea, scanner, c-bat and also sgbx at the time. Sgbx was already fading.

So, that's why you know it faded so much, and it was also very heavy pre-market already and that's why i was shorting. This didn't get like that big of a size just because it's pre-market, i wanted to wait for the open, had some pre-market short cover into most of it and covered the rest and had a re-short small. I was trying to see if we're going to retest for 350s to potentially either add or stop out depending on the price action, but they just rejected it really quickly and i covered all the shorts. So this one's a small winner and also at the time around this time with c-bat, is the stock i'm trying to concentrate on you can see.

I had some starter pre-market, but i'm not really comfortable holding the shorts knowing that they reclaimed. You can see this three dollars dip so quickly and they were consolidating this pre-market, so i just felt like they were gon na, try to squeeze it right at the open and that's why i covered, and actually i was thinking, okay, it's either they're gon na squeeze. It and then actually drop or they're gon na you know hold it below near three dollars and consolidate for another squeeze move like spi and that's why, after i covered my short pre-market down here, i was actually there's a small scalp shorts, but over here these arrows, I was actually trying to long the stock. It seems like they were, trying to very hard to prop it up around three dollars and that's why i longed it, but, after you know, seeing so much rejection around the 320s 330s mark.
That's why i stopped out. You can see i stopped out for a small loss on the long side and good thing i did because after i stopped out you know a couple of minutes later they dropped the bids. They took off three dollars, they pulled it right away in a stock slammed right down to all the way to 240.. So literally, you know.

That's a 70 dollar. Sorry. 70 cents drop. I was not involved with that.

I actually had a small short going to the drop over here, shorted um 280s. It was extremely heavy small starter because i did think that they were gon na try to at least bounce it to no 290s or something like that would retest three dollars. But there was a lot of people trapped about three, though above three dollars this stock. It's it's ridiculous because even after this huge drop from three dollars, it's still up over a hundred percent from yesterday the stock was trading at 136 at the close yesterday, and then you know it went to four dollars shore, but even after the drop.

It's still over up over a hundred percent, so there's definitely a lot more downside on the stock and that's why i kept on shorting this i covered some small re-shorted. The goal was to short every single bounce until that doesn't work anymore, because it was very, very heavy. It just looks like one of those dilution events remember. This stock was only 70 cents a couple days ago too.

So i was mostly out re-shorted some covered into here had a small wreath short, i stopped out, and i tried it again over here. This is where things got interesting. I had a small size, so i was okay, i'm letting it write out, and then i covered all of it here, so i'm all out on the stock. I think at this point this is probably just gon na fade off to two dollars and potentially below.

Actually, by the end of the day, remember nobody wants to hold the stock into the weekend right, it's a broken stock. It looks weak, it looks dead right. Nobody wants to hold this so we'll see what happens i mean if they save it above you know two tenths two dollars, then maybe we can get another squeeze move, we'll see what happens, but i'm all out on the stock already the other stock. That's also, you know a decent winner on a smaller trade on the side.

T-A-T-T, this one, you know, was fading off from the open. Uh. Sorry from pre-market highs had a nice spike to 760 shorted. It um covered some re-shorted.
I missed like about you, know 50 cents, but that's okay. I was trying to focus on c-bat. This is kind of like a side play. I was doing um the yellow stock mvax.

So this one is a large cap long i was loneliness. I was not sure at this. The stock you know broke out above the consolidation on the daily and there was a key level around 108.. I wasn't.

I didn't catch this 108. Nice consolidation, once we break out above you know, 109s, one more tens, that's where we started going. I had thoughts that they were gon na pull it back a lot further for me to join long. So i didn't have any size at all.

On this microtip. I got some around 111 60s. I was holding for a consolidation around one tenth to add, but after i you know, i longed it just started. Spiking all the way to 117..

I did sell some, not small 114 didn't miss a top didn't get get to sell at the top. I had some re-ads on these pullbacks to 114 and then one 1280, so that they gave me a very, very nice average about 113 40s. So some into the push, but i was really trying to leave some for a potential continuation to the daily because we have some room to go to 120., but unfortunately that was a lower high and then we just started. You know consolidating sideways right now and i got stopped out basically break even on the rest of it, but it's a very nice long trade and when this stock spikes it goes for like two three five dollars.

Even you see, like 111 all the way to 117, but that would have been very nice if i sold at the top, even with a small position that would have been pretty decent, but i missed it, but that's okay, small wing is still a win. No, i talk about a small loss on the day zm, so this one you know on the daily and with the outlook of the market, it did seem kind of weak pre-market with the market and that's why i had a starter short thinking that we're gon na Consolidate and sell off with the rest of the market, but spy broke out with red to green and have the cover for a loss on the starter long. So, overall, very nice day today and very nice way to end the week. Small caps are back, even though today is kind of like a slower day after c-bat died same as hgbx.

Hopefully we get more action and more momentum like this next week. Hey guys thanks for watching, i hope you enjoyed the video and the bad jokes. I'm currently in the process of applying to Interactive Brokers. I was just wondering about the PDT rule. I am a Canadian resident. Am I free to trade on ANY market as I please without dealing with the PDT rule? Or am I only free from PDT if I trade Canadian markets? Thank you very much and keep it up with the great videos!

A humble suggestion from watching a lot of your recaps. Most of your errors come from shorting opening drives and also from chasing entries. So: 1) Don't short opening drives, they are a coin flip. Wait until some kind of intraday risk level forms and only short into that if price action confirms it. 2) Limit your entries to needing a minimum of 50% fib retracement of the most recent swing high to low on your entry time frame. You will miss around 33% of trades this way but the ones you take will immediately go into profit and allow you to either stop out break even or see immediate profits.

Some of your previous advice was good but honestly, recently over the last 3 months, I would bet against you every time. Shorting SPI at 2 dollars when it NEVER ONCE DROPPED and you doubled down and shorted again up to 4. Who would do that. Not even a newb but you did. If we followed last weeks tips, we would all be broke also. You are BETTING ON PURE HOPE rather than actually looking at the easy to read level 2 and the easy to read trend. YOURE CHASING and not getting ahead of them.

Looks like you don’t really know what you are doing like most YouTubers ! I remember on your short trading video you were talking about not to short penny stocks but you did it on spi premarket !! I think if you make money it’s just because you are lucky

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Obi Juan says:

I made an easy $1700 premarket on WKHS, but gave it all back on a shot on a curl up just before it crashed through vwap. I traded SPI I did very well, and called it a day, BUT then SPI went parabolic. BLNK is on my permanent watch list but it was too scary to play. I had a good week overall as the EV rumors were a hit, but the volatility on most stocks felt like wack-a-mole.
