Sold everything to buy this one stock
So i think i made a mistake. I think i might have sold a little bit too early check this out. I decided to sell most of my shares for my long positions as the nasdaq market was approaching previous resistance levels that it previously got rejected at, but today we made new 180-day highs. Now the question is: can you guess what stock today made me 24 000 and yes, that is correct, that is ticker, symbol, amc.
So i'm sure it's not much of a surprise, but i don't have an infinite amount of money in my trading account. So that meant that i had to liquidate or sell some of my positions to be able to have enough buying power to take advantage of what i viewed to be a greater opportunity in this case. In this so case, the nasdaq market pushed up less than one percent. Today i made a little bit over 4.6 trading amc.

Just so you all know I am aware I did sell early and a possible approach next time is to sell 50% instead of the whole thing and maybe a less heavy position on amc next time. I am not perfect, I make mistakes all the time but this is a result of what I did!
I'd rather get out early than suffer tremendously. My Roth is loaded up ready to buy the dip.

@ricky do you have any idea why maybe my account that had about 35k as of the last close still falls to the PDT rule? I have been over 25k the last couple of weeks and still cant day trade. I have to wait for the t+2 and funds to settle before I can rebuy and then sell, or anyone else in the comments section. This happened to me earlier in the year like feb/march and I just said F- it on trading for a few months
