80 million Americans have received their direct deposits, but it seems like the most vulnerable population of people who need it the most are still not being prioritized. This is the $1200 IRS Economic Stimulus Check update on Friday April 17th. In today's video we talk about the vulnerable population of college students listed as a dependent, SSI, Veterans, and people with disabilities and my thoughts moving forward with the situation.

You know what is going on. You guys welcome back to another video. So today is Friday April the 17th and I'm gon na come out with a stimulus check update for today. Now, although a lot of people are receiving this check right now, there is a good majority of people who actually need it, the most that are still not seeing any type of updates.

I think one of the biggest things that have bothered me during this whole stimulus check update is the fact that the most vulnerable population of people who actually need this check are the ones that are being neglected right now, so really the demographics that I want to Focus on this, video just gives you some light on are people who are probably veterans or people who are on SSI or people who just have any type of disability, or even college students that really need this type of income, but unfortunately, they were listed as a Dependent on their parents tax return, it's really a crappy situation for a lot of these people. I'm thinking more about the disability side, for anyone who really can't go out there, because they have a condition where, if they do get any type of disease or if they get the pandemic, they catch the virus. It can be really fatal for them, especially for people who have any type of immune deficiencies, and generally people who have a disability are the ones that are most likely to suffer from this fatally. So really.

This is something that it just I don't know it strikes a chord in my chest in my heart, just because I know there's a lot of people that absolutely cannot do anything and really the people who are getting this money right now are people who generally don't Need it as bad as the people who really do need this money and that's something that's kind of just like. I know the government isn't really the best when it comes to these things, and I know they're trying to work things out. I'm keeping up with the news right now seeing what type of alterations or adjustments they're making, because when we're hearing things in the news like dead, people are receiving their check, but people with disabilities aren't or people who are too old, aren't or people who are veterans. Aren't it just makes you wonder, like what's actually going on with the system, because there are people who need to pay off their bills or people who have rent coming up.

That's new. There are people who need to feed their families and these type of people, unfortunately, because of whatever disability that they may have. They really have no options during these times so including the demographic of the vulnerable population that we have in the United States and people who file their taxes online with any tax preparation service like turbo tax or H & R Block. Those are all people right now seeing any type of updates with their check, and I know the IRS came out with that portal about a few days ago.

But the thing is, this portal is pretty glitchy right now and if you guys put in the wrong answer too many times, it'll actually lock you out because they think you are a hacker. I know there are some people who are seeing this error message where they know all the information is correct. They are illegible for the check, yet they are still seeing an error message and they don't know what to do. Look.
I really wish there was some type of solution where you guys can press like Control Alt for five six seven and then it just unlocks you you're good to go. You put in your right information and you're know you're gon na get the check reality. This situation right now is that it is not that simple, especially for the people that cannot get their hands on the money or, if they're, not sure. If the money is coming in.

The IRS is very familiar with the fact that the website is actually not working correctly, so there are a lot of eyes. People do know that there is an issue going on and you know I really don't like saying this like like just be patient or just let the government figure it out and try the next day if something is not set up the way it's supposed to be. I want to get my answer right away and I know a lot of people are waiting on the state. They just want to get an answer.

Whether or not you know they are confirmed, they got the right bank account for this or if they will ever even receive any type of check, no matter how many different videos or articles you read or watch the IRS needs to make an update on there and The things before they can really fix anything else, so, no matter how much we want things to be fixed, no matter how much we want things to be sped up. We have to realize this is a process involving the whole entire country, and there is a lot of eyeballs right now. There are a lot of things that people are uncertain about, especially people working in the government, so really, when the biggest takeaways that I'm gon na recommend to you guys in today's video is the fact that you guys should just be aware of the situation. That's going on don't keep spamming the portal.

If it's already locked you out, you have to wait the full day. Just be patient. Try again later make sure your information is verified. I know some people aren't putting in the right amount from their 2019 tax return, and then they don't know exactly how much income or how much taxes they have to pay and it messes up the whole portal again, if you guys do have an accountant just let Them know like hey, like this isn't going through.

Do you recommend anything to me, because there are a lot of people working in this industry that can help a lot of people out too so guys? That really was my report today on the stimulus checks. Make sure you guys stick around for any type of updates regarding the situation, if you guys know where your check is, if you guys are still waiting for some type of answer and if you guys are just left in the dark. So, thank you guys so much for watching this video. I loved every single one of you guys don't forget to drop a like and subscribe to the channel if you guys have not yet already, including updates we're, probably gon na, go back to our normal content of credit cards soon.
But I just want to say thank you guys so much again for the support and I hope I see you guys the next one peace.

What if your on SSI and were claimed as an other dependent? Will you get the stimulus then? Your not considered a qualifying child or a qualifying relative dependent.

Thank you for shining light on this. I'm a single mom of an adult handicapped person and she did not qualify for the stimulus check, even though she needs it badly… rent went up yesterday. Hopefully they'll amend this but I won't hold my breath.

You were right…. I am SSDI disability and it's Thursday… the 30th. Still no stimulus payment and nothing on the IRS tool. This is getting really ugly.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alexander Matter says:

Itโ€™s a joke that kinda who are 16 whoโ€™ve never left their parents side get $500 for nothing. but me and all the other college kids that scrounge and work their asses off for their money, donโ€™t get a cent. Iโ€™m all for trump and support most things he does, but as a business man and a guy that knows a thing or two about money really fucked up.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars poprocksssss1114 says:

And here we are, April 25th and we ( SSI recipients) STILL haven't receive any money and must wait till up to MID MAY! I know they tried to roll this out fast to help us but they ended up screwing up the whole lot of things ! I feel even more for the veterans, the people who have fought and risked their lives so we could have freedom. They don't even have a date yet !

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ron LHeureux says:

You are a very good man, Brother. I understand that the IRS is using 50-year-old computers in the 21st. century. That would obviously, be a BIG problem.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Leah B. Mathis says:

Thanks for giving voice to this. I'm on disability and honestly can't even allow myself to believe that I will actually get a check, or direct deposit…

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars sancho marquez says:

Why doesn't the irs just hire some computer geek to fix that bug. It's the government they have unlimited funds at our expenses. Just so we can get that ball rolling!!

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Drippy Splashn says:

Exactly….or those of us who are waiting….the ppl who have to hustle daily.i was filed on my brother inlaws taxes as a dependent .I am honestly hustling to have the things I need. Im accountable for myself. I feel like this goverment needs to be flexible we all have different situations.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nikii Grant says:

So true I havenโ€™t got mine either and they opened things back up to soon. They need to rethink how they are doing the money peopel with small businesses did not even get the grant because those who make money was able to get it first! Which is not fair so all the money is gone this is crazy!!

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Christina Velazquez says:

This is all very disturbing to me since I live on a $783.00 monthly SSI check due to a permanent disability. When I did work I worked for a government entity, the County of San Bernardino, California, doing social services income maintenance, food stamps and homeless assistance. We had a private retirement fund set up and didn't pay into Social Security, otherwise, I would be eligible for SSDI. When I applied for SSI I thought it more important to receive health care, and cashed out my county retirement fund as I couldn't afford future medical costs associated with my disability. The government has my direct deposit information so my question is, where is my Stimulus? Once again the government has put recipients of SSI, SSDI, SSRI, and Veteran's on the back burner again sending out paper checks instead.๐Ÿ˜ฐ I personally know somebody who has never worked a day in their life, but has already received a paper check, wtf?! Is this some kind of conspiracy hoping and waiting for the disabled, seniors, and Veterans to die before ever getting Stimulus? Can anybody hear me??

Seriously, my parents hade to grocery shop through my fridge and kitchen cabinets.

Local food bank ran out of stock.

Yes, I gave them what money I could, but I've been out of work.

Haven't even got my Stimulus check yet.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike Dorrough says:

I appreciate you saying this. As someone that became disabled, I provide my means to live and maintain. However my mother claims me as a dependent as there are many NON financial situations I need assistance with. Why dont I deserve the money. I paid into my disability from 2 decades of work. I need help now to get around, why should we be punished?

There are a few website's where lawyers will answer questions for free and not ask for any of your personal information. Be careful if anyone ask for any of your personal information over the phone or online offering free help. I live in SC. I came across one. I answered a few questions and a lawyer got back to me in like 15 minutes but I had already found out what I needed to know so I didn't need his help. You just have to do some research. Probably is, it's hard to find safe places at time.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Poulson says:

I am a 40% service connected vet and I still have not got mine..Chances are I bet anything on it their just going to give it to us on the 1st..The ones who could go to a atm before they got their check and pull 200 out get their checks first and the ones like me who are broke at the end of the month still have to wait..Oh and even on the IRS sight they mention SSI and the rail road but not one word about vets..I mean come on rail road? I dont even know anyone who works for the rail road but they get mentioned and not one word about vets unbelievable..So much for support your troops…

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Margaret Johnson says:

It's about time someone talk about how ssi social security disability, and veterans are being treated with the stimulus check, might not file taxes but pay taxes in grocery stores utilities, etc sad We're all in this together

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars AA !! says:

I was filed a dependent on my moms 2018 she hasnโ€™t filed her 2019 yet but joe Iโ€™m not a dependent. And I got my 2019 return! Will I get it somehow get the stimulus soon or next year!!?

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Cruz Guzman says:

I really need this kind of help all year every year I have to live off of $1040.00 for my disability they say they believe I can live off of this and I can't even get food stamps rooms for rent go for $650.00 to $750.00 that leaves me $250.00 for food and bills and laundry

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mar C says:

they want people on SSI dead. my wife us not on ssi, but she lost her job. no money. just because i am over 65, she has to wait and wait and wait for money to buy food. we will get our revenge. we will stop paying on all credit cards, and bankrupt them. screw em.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The_Moto_G_Power_User says:

My mom receives SSI. Her rent, utilities, phone, and food is covered. She still manages to have about $200 to $175 to herself every month. Some of them do know how to manage to survive.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joyce Pacheco says:

It damaging and cruel. Im really disappointed. This is hard. I have seen one person collect over 3000 with 3 checks work. Income tax and a job. The ones still working are making out on this corona. Im very scared.
