“Comment I am Stimulated If You Are Reading This”
IRS Portal: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments

You know what is going on. You guys welcome back to another video, so I know about 80 million Americans in the u.s. have received their stimulus checks through direct deposits. So far, one of the issues right now is that, even though a lot of people are getting it still, many people have not received anything and one of the most popular questions that I'm seeing is.

Where is my check, and when should I expect my check to come in so what we're gon na do in today's video is answer those two questions, so you guys have a better idea of when you should expect that $ 1,200 stimulus check to come in now. Generally, if you have received your check, what that means is that all your information is correct within the IRS. So the main reasons why you may not have seen your stimulus check come in is a couple reasons. First of all, you may not have the correct information given over to the IRS.

They do have that portal updated, but keep in mind that they are experiencing a lot of different system glitches. So, if you guys are one of those people, they are refreshing this portal, every single night, so make sure in the next day that you try again. If you try too many times, it will lock you out of the system and they are still trying to resolve a lot of the issues. It's as simple as if your information does not line up with what the IRS has.

You will experience some type of error or some type of system message saying that you aren't getting the information that you are looking for now. Aside from that time is really another big factor. The government has to send a lot of money, and banks are also receiving a lot of money too. So you guys will notice that there are many different players in part here.

This isn't just government to consumer boom, we're good to go. The IRS needs to authorize these checks. These checks need to go through either direct deposit or a physical check, and then it went back through because President Trump wanted his name on it for the physical checks and that caused a little bit of delay too and then with the direct deposit. They need a verify lot of information.

They are sending some of these direct deposits to people who are not alive at the moment. So it's definitely a lot of crazy things going on at this moment. I know a lot of people have been experiencing problems and technical issues within logging into their bank accounts. So - and this is something that you guys are experiencing - it's because there's so many people right now trying to look for their money, trying to just refresh the app on their phone and doing that is just overloading the system.

So taking those things into consideration, it's really why there's such a big delay in these checks simply put it's a lot of money and it does take some time for these things to disperse. So, with those things in mind, you guys should under San it's gon na. Take some time for these checks to come in, but now that we know that let's actually get some answers, though, where are our checks? When is it coming in? Within my own personal life, I have friends and family members who see their parents getting their checks, but they haven't received anything yet or everything is on file. They still see a system glitch within the IRS website and they still aren't seeing any type of direct deposit.
Let's go over when the time line is especially, if you have everything set up correctly, so I did some research online and the closest thing I could find to a time line. Was this document by the house of committees on ways and means by Chairman Richard e Neal? Now this was actually surprisingly a little difficult to find. I'm not seeing many people actually talk about the data points off of this statement today is April 20th, and although this is from April 16th, I know it's like four days behind. It seems outdated, but this is actually the most recent one that was able to find online, but if you guys also want to check this out after the end of the video I'll, have this listed down below in the description so getting to it.

I'm gon na just start with some of the paragraphs and just go through this and exactly what type of information that we have. After extensive conversations with the IRS and the Department of Treasury, the staff of the Ways and Means Committee expect the IRS to issue economic impact payments following the below timeline. This timeline is subject to change. Given ongoing discussions by the chairman, the committee remains focused on ensuring all illegible Americans receive their payments as quickly as possible.

Basically, what this means is things are changing so much, there's different bills going in and out they're trying to resolve issues within the IRS. So moving down, we have the estimated number of payments Treasurer in the IRS, initially estimated that there would be 171 million rebate payments under the cares act and that 101 million of these payments would be paid by paper check unless the IRS receives direct deposit information. For these payments before a paper check is mailed. However, these estimates seem low, given the following populations: first of all, 145 to 150 million taxpayers who file returns below the cares Act, income threshold, another 25 to 30 million social security beneficiaries and SSI recipients, who do not file returns 14 to 15 million non filers.

Who are below the filing threshold, 6 million veterans, undetermined number of non-filers and 500,000 plus individuals who receive benefits from the Railroad Retirement Board? Now, basically, with all those numbers, that's taking into consideration that vulnerable population that I've mentioned before on my channel people who need it? The most the vulnerable population, our veterans, people on railroad people on disabilities, people who are blind, deaf or just cannot go out of their house for any type of disorder like these are the people that, I believe, should have been prioritized. That's something that really stresses me out, but regardless that's just my opinion on it. Let's talk about for the general population. What that estimate, timing that the IRS is giving out is now.
This is a section that you guys have all been waiting for so additional rounds. The IRS plans to make additional rounds of payments by direct deposits and paper checks weekly, so a lot of people assume Oh every day we should see new direct deposits coming in. They are stating that this actually happens every week. They're not specifying exactly which day it is, it could be.

Saturday could be Friday. It could be Monday for all I know, but they are not specifying that they're just saying every week is when they should have bursts of this going out now. What this means is, there's still a chain of process, even if they burst it out. Every week, every bank is gon na, get it at a different time for them to process it as well.

That's why some people were seeing them getting the check on the 13th. Other people are getting it on the 15th and 16th. It's because these banks take time to process these things, especially when there's a large influx of money just going out now. This brings me to the topic you guys, because so much money is circulating right now, please be very, very cautious of any type of scams.

I'm actually hearing from people in my comments that they are seeing a lot more scams than they have ever before of people trying to get this money from them. So if you guys have not yet received your check - and you guys have not yet heard any updates - do not fill in your information on any other websites other than the IRS website. A good example is, I would never want my social security number to seven. Four.

Five, eight seven, six, three two leaked out to the world. If that goes out, I could be screwed. There could be 10,000 different Brian Jung's out here, just maxing out my identity and opening new credit cards so really just stay away from. That is it's one of the worst things that could possibly happen to you: an identity theft during a time of recession, especially when it's this difficult to get a hold of anyone on the phone in the finance industry.

You don't want it to happen, so really be careful of that now scrolling down they state individuals can provide their direct deposit information by using two of the IRS portals. You can get to get my payment portal and you can get the non-filers portal, so most guys should know the difference of that. If you guys have filed your 2018 or 2019 IRS tax return, you guys want to do the one that says get my payment. That's generally the one you want to go for, but if you guys do not file taxes, for whatever reason you may not have a social security number, you may not have made enough money to do that where it's necessary use.
The other portal keep in mind. The portal is still having errors, like I mentioned in the beginning of the video, but I'm actually still seeing data points of other people being successful on it, as you guys can see on the screen. This is one of the most common messages that a lot of people are getting. You are illegible for the payment once we have your payment date.

We will update this page, and now people are checking every single day to make sure that they're not missing any type of updates. But from what I'm hearing it's been like this for quite a while. So there is definitely a backlog going on with the amount of requests and what the IRS need to do in terms of pushing out the money for us people. So on this official document, just by scrolling down they pretty much wrap everything up by saying beginning the week of April 20th, the IRS will also begin issuing paper checks on a weekly basis.

Now, paper checks will be issued at a rate about five million per week, which is insane which could take up to twenty weeks and that that, right, there is the insane part it could take up to twenty weeks for people to receive their check. This is why I recommend you guys to open a new bank account. That's why I recommend you guys to do direct deposit. After that.

I saw some interesting statistics that a lot of people in the u.s. do not have bank accounts. Some people think you know, I don't trust the government. I don't want my money there.

I just don't feel safe and other people just don't make enough money where they feel like it justifies having a bank account. This would be a good time because you really don't want to wait 20 weeks for a freaking check to come in, especially if you need that money ASAP. So what I recommend you guys to do is check out new bank accounts to open. I will have some of my favorites listed down below in the description.

If you guys are interested at all, keep in mind. These are affiliate links, so I do earn a small Commission. You guys don't have to take those links, but if you guys would like to support this channel, that's a free, easy way to do that and if you guys do, I just want to say thank you guys so much now to finish this off at the end Of April adult social security, retirement survivor and disability insurance beneficiary, who did not file tax returns in eighteen or nineteen, will receive their rebates if they receive their Social Security benefits via direct deposits. Treasury has announced that adult SSI recipients will receive the rebate by early May.

At the latest, in the same way as they receive their normal benefits, so that should clarify a lot of the SSI news, because there's a huge population of people in SSI that have no idea what's going on. So that should answer your question right. There weekly direct deposits and paper checks will continue until all individuals receive their rebate. So this statement right here I think, is one of the most powerful statements that we can read.
Weekly direct deposit and paper checks will continue until all individuals receive their benefits. So that means no one is getting excluded. As long as you guys are illegible for these checks - and I know I say, illegible wrong. I've been saying it like this.

My whole life, so I'm not changing anytime soon: okay, illegible, illegible, whatever we have pretty much just to wrap up this video, everyone should be receiving something from the government and if you guys, are not receiving anything stay tuned for more information, because there are other provisions Going into the cares act right now, where they're proposing something like $ 2,000 per month now for the next six months plus and that's just absolutely crazy, so I'll, let you guys know if there's any other updates and I will be on the lookout for anything new. So if you guys are new to the channel, don't forget to subscribe to the channel, we normally talk about credit cards, personal finance, but right now, because a lot of the stimulus checks, stuff and content is blowing up and because a lot of you guys are really Enjoying this video we're gon na continue to push out updates, but if you guys have not yet liked this video make sure you guys do that. Consider subscribing, and I hope I see you guys in the next one peace.
