What's up everyone? All right? Well here we are. small. Green Day Monday just barely. I went green, went red, got back to green, gave back half.
Not an easy day. Very choppy so I'm just grateful to be green and not red. It preserves my a green streak that I'm on right now and we'll trade another day. Not every day is going to be for me.
a big green day. I'm going to have red days. I'm going to have days like today where you know, despite coming in and seeing good opportunities, I just kind of miss moves and then chase them and I'm just not quite dialed in. So that's today.
Choppy Day, Choppy Monday, But a Green Monday. So I hope you guys enjoy the recap. As always, in case you didn't already know, day trading is risky. Most beginner traders lose money.
You should assume that you will lose money. and with that assumption in mind, trade in a simulator before you put real money on the line. My results are not typical. All right.

All right everyone. So I'm going to do a recap here. Um, sitting up 4 400. it's been a choppy morning.
It really has been. Uh, I got Green on my first couple trades on Leds and then I actually, um, gave back all of the gains because of rhe and went right on the day. Rhe was very choppy for me. I, I really struggled with it.
I tried to buy these breakouts so I lost on this candle right here. and then I got back in right here and lost again on it. So two losses on rhe leds. We had this really nice squeeze out of the gates and I missed it because I felt like I was chasing it.
But then I did buy the first pullback. So first pullback, I got in and so I did make money on it. but by the end of the first 15-20 minutes I was basically flat on the day down actually 300 and then Ptix popped up, squeezed all the way into a halt and I bought the resumption a dip down here in the 60s and we got a squeeze here up to all the way to 489. But my last two trades on it were losses.
Trying to anticipate the break moving back up right here. I just got stopped out again. so you know I went from up 4 000 to Red 300. back now to up 4 000 I was up 7 500.
but it just doesn't feel like an easy day. So given it's 10 a.m and I'm already struggling, I've already gone from green to red, back to green and giving back again a little bit. This doesn't feel like a good day to keep trading. It feels like if I keep trading today, I'm eventually going to get caught in a nasty flush and I'm going to just finish the day red.
So if I can be green in this type of choppy market, I want to lock it up. Take it and come back and try again tomorrow. and hopefully tomorrow is a little cleaner. A little bit better, but you know if I keep sitting here and watching, you know, next thing you know, I'll jump back into Ptix.
Get caught in a nasty false breakout, or I'll jump back into Leds and get caught in one of these nasty false breakouts. I mean, look at this one here pops up and then just got nailed all the way back down. so I just don't. I just don't want that to happen. Um, so got to manage my risk, manage my downside. and if it means I'm leaving some money on the table, well then so be it. So that's it for me. I just got into day trading myself, been taking a course on Skillshare, watching a variety of YouTube videos from a variety of channels and I've opened a practice account but I'm having one main problem when it comes to day trading and that's finding stocks to day trade. I'm finding it very difficult to know which stocks I should be looking into or actually have on my watchlist when I obviously don't know what the market is going to do. So my question is How do you find stocks to watch? How do you know which ones to wake up to the next day and keep an eye on. I've read/been told that stock screeners are a reliable source, but I'm not totally sure how to read these things. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How can we get access to the gap scanners?
Today I made the mistake of trying to mirrortrade with Ross because of the meh market this morning. Luckily I made up for it for a bit with PTIX, still a 400 dollar red day. Won't make that mistake again, and I'm considering just not turning into the live stream in the morning. I think I should just watch the recap instead.
