Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
All right everyone. I'm going to do a a live recap here and break down the trades from today. So I'm actually up. Uh, 58 000? Uh, in two days on a Nvs.
Which is good. I mean, it's not great. I know for sure there's people out there who made a lot more than me, but 58 000 in two days is? I'm happy with that. Obviously, my results are not typical.
Most beginner traders lose money. even experienced traders have periods of loss, and in fact, this just kind of gets me back to um, I guess in a good place on the month. This now recoups the loss that I had um through this sort of red streak. So I had a one two three, four day red streak last week while I was in, uh, the end of the week while I was trading in Miami.
Um, but on Friday was twenty two thousand dollars. Uh, net profit? It was about twenty three 000 in gross profit. So I had a good day on Friday on Anvs, but I didn't stay very long now. part of being able to.
Well, the nice thing with with trading is that you can pretty much take it wherever you go. So these are my Usb monitors. Um, right here. They're Asus Mb what is the name Mb169 And they're They're about 196 dollars each, which is kind of pricey for just like a monitor, But um, yeah, you know it is what it is.
So anyways, these are Usb monitors, so I plug these in on either side of my laptop the same as I did when I was in Rhode Island. So the day trading in Rhode Island video is on. the Um shows these monitors. So basically I'm trading with three monitors, laptop screen and then two of these and to be able to bring that with me everywhere I go in my carry-on bag is awesome.
I mean these are actually I put these right next to my laptop and it just slips right into the same laptop kind of slot in my backpack. So anyways, the whole idea is at least for me when I'm trading and traveling is not to be sitting in front of the computer for eight hours. I don't want to be sitting from 9am to 4pm. I want to make a little bit of money if I can and then enjoy the rest of the day.
So as it turned out on Friday on Amvs, I traded it and made 29 000 on it through this move from 36 up to 64. it was impressive. I left a lot of money on the table. Later I saw when I checked on my computer or on my phone that you had gotten the squeeze up to almost a hundred dollars and I will tell you now looking back that this uh definitely provided some nice patterns that are straight out of the Momentum classes that I teach on on trading that pullback right there that's picture perfect that was clean and this break right here through a flat top into a halt going up.
That was pretty clean too. So you know I. I probably could have had I stayed around. I probably could have made money, but I don't.
As I said earlier, I don't want to play the coulda woulda shoulda because just it's very easy to be optimistic that you would have made money. But I also could have been the guy who got myself into a pickle. Going long right here. Could have gone long. Five, ten thousand shares right there. and at the low of this pullback been down almost a hundred thousand dollars. That was a ten point pullback from 64 down to a low of 52 right? So I could have easily gotten smoked on that, and then revenge traded super aggressively long back into this breakout, maybe made it back, and then maybe did the same thing again right here on that false breakout and then stopped out down here. So you know I could have just as easily been read on the stock.
And today as Scps continues higher, there was breaking news on this one. I made 2800 bucks on it, I got in a little late and then because I got in late, I had to sell it a little early. Now you've got four halts in a row going up. Great to see great action breaking news at 9 00 a.m Fda approval so that's terrific, but what goes up comes back down so you got to be careful when you chase them.
When I buy high, I have to sell quickly. Buy high, Sell higher. That's ultimately day trading. That is momentum trading.
Buy high and sell higher right? So I get in and I sell higher. There you go so you can see full screen, but unfortunately, unless I have a really good entry off support, I'm not going to be in a position really to to hold for a really big move. So anyways, today on Amvs pre-market we had a head and shoulders pattern and it did a little bit of a bear trap where it actually broke down right before the bell and then it squeezed back up. and so I took a starter as it started to squeeze back up and I knew I was getting in a little high.
but I held it into the open and at the open we got this nice squeeze through 66 all the way up to 70 and then I lost. I was up 35 000 and then I lost about 7 500 off the top right there. going long for the break of 70 and then it came back down and I could have just easily lost 15 000 on that type of trade. I just, uh, was fortunate that I only lost 7 500.
So trying to take the profit off the table here and as I said so on the month of May I was green. the first had a nice start. The first six days I was in a nine-day hot streak from April into May and then a little bit of a red day. Another red day, and then that began a four-day red streak where I had basically a full week where I didn't make money.
Friday through the next. Friday was when I had my next green day, but now green again here on the 24th. So this is going to put me, um, so that's 1.8 million in gross profit on the year and oops, sorry, 5. in gross profit before fees and commissions on the month.
I'm I was at 96 000, Uh, before today's trades And then if I look at my win loss expectation, you can see how I had this draw down. I lost about 30 000 in those, um, five or four red days, but have now recouped it and was still down seven thousand coming into today, but have now gone through that. So that means I'm back through all-time highs on not just the month, but ultimately all-time highs on my account. One of the approaches that I have, um, you know, for better or for worse is that I'm pretty disciplined about cutting losses. So this is my account growth. So yes, I you will see here and there some bigger drawdowns, but generally speaking in terms of percentage-wise I've really never drawn down that far. This right here was the biggest draw down I'd ever had. and it was.
It was still less. It was like maybe eight percent. It was like an eight percent draw down. So I'm I'm pleased with that.
I mean, I'm not happy that I had that big loss, but it's still a relatively small drawdown. I have been kind of topping out here in the last six weeks as the market has slowed down a little bit but still making profit. Just not as much as you know. maybe I would prefer, but still grinding on some some decent numbers.
So you know, as always, you guys have to understand that trading is risky and since most beginner traders do lose money, you have to approach this from the perspective that you have a high likelihood of losing as well. With that in mind, you should practice in a simulator. and what's important is to practice in a simulator that is the exact same software that you'll use when you trade with real money. Because if you practice in a simulator that has like delayed data or you're practicing a simulator that doesn't have level two, then you're not really gaining at least in my opinion, the experience that you need to prove that you really could be profitable with real money.
So trading in the right simulator is important for practicing. and if you can't make money in a simulator, you have no business putting real money you know in your account. So you know. I say all this because you know not to bum you guys out.
but you know it's important that you're aware of the reality of of trading. Now when I show you my gains, it's not because these results are typical. I want to show you that the person you're learning from is actually a profitable trader, right? There's a lot of people out there that put out Youtube videos or you know, make Dvds and things like that and they can't actually back up or substantiate their gains. So it's important for you as a student potential student to know that the person you're learning from actually knows what they're talking about and the only way you know is by seeing those gains.
So um, anyways, Scps. That was a nice small trade. Not a not a big one, but halted at 1333 and looking strong. So good job For those of you guys that did well today, those of you guys that were on the red side today, go back and study the trades.
Look at where you got in. did you chase it? Did you not do a good job on a Dip trade? Dial it in every day and every loss can be an opportunity to learn. So losses can be lessons. So with that I thank you guys for tuning in for today's recap Green Day Recap 58 000 of profit on a Nvs in two days of trading, which are at this point the best two days that I've now had. and uh, in quite a while. So the market is starting to heat back up, which is fantastic. Hopefully we see it continue, but I would expect that it'll be a little sporadic that we'll see. you know, a couple little pockets, a couple little good days.
you know, maybe like today, the way we did on these two stocks and then maybe it'll be a little slow on some other days, so just kind of have to, you know, settle in and be here and try to be disciplined on the cold days, Not to trade the junky, poor quality setups and just wait for those good opportunities to come by. That's what's important. Patience. I know we all want to be trading every day.
I'd love to be making 30 000 every single day. but it's not every day that we see these types of moves. We see them frequently, but it's not every day, and certainly not in a colder market. But could I survive off of one of these a month? Certainly.
Would I have the discipline to not trade the other? You know, every other day of the month while I wait for the one, and that that might be? That's that's what's hard. I still struggle with it, but I'm trying to get better so I share it with you because I hope you can try to get better at it as well. And um, yeah, I hope you guys have a great rest of the day and I will see you back here first thing, uh, tomorrow morning. All right, I'll see you all in the morning.
Thanks again for tuning in you.
Ross…. serious question man. Did you ever play the game RUNESCAPE?
Hey Ross, I am a Warrior starter. I have been following you on YouTube for your morning show for the better part of eight months now. I started the warrior starter program and I am enjoying everything. I have been using a SIM for about for five days. I’m trying to pull it all together and understand some things my simple question is I know you use the signal for your charts I know you use lightspeed for your buying and selling. What about A watchlist other than the small-cap one that you provide with a chat? I have been using sink or swim for a while now and they’re just having so many issues like today for example I kept on getting errors on the watchlist. I would put the top 10 of your small-cap leads in my think or swim and I would use them for charts and watchlist. I’ve gotten so used to it. But today they were failing me and they’re also having some other issues. If I want to use your simulator which I believe is sterling, I’m going to use Sterlings charts the way that you have it set up. But where would I put a watchlist? What do you recommend as far as having a watchlist that I can look at real fast for Sterling offer that or watt?
-300k "still a small drawdown". Man I want your problems 😉
Are you live in the mornings, can't find your streams
we not doing live premarket trading anymore?
How can I Join the daily live session of early day trading. I cannot find a link on the channel to join the live session.
I seem to be missing the morning show every morning.
I am learning litte by litte.Thank you Ross
Dude you're my inspiration not to off myself after losing both parents and temporary paralysis in a 4 rollover, terrible car accident…I don't wanna, I shouldn't have brought it up. But aside from the monitors what kind of software do you use?
I hope u read this, when I started looking into trading I knew nothing and I’m from Ukraine so trading there is not common for people, I wanted to learn and take your courses but I wouldn’t have anything left, so I used to watch ur streams and always hit the like button as my support, now after 4 months of watching and learning how u think I just started making money on scalping crypto where I get more leverage (more risk) but more rewards and no limits like pdt. Thanks for the channel
Thank you Ross, you’re a great inspiration
make DVDs? who else had to check the date on this video?
Been missing your live shows in the morning.
Ross …so good….very good….perfect….so Nice 👍
Beautiful work Ross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On ANVS pre market, I Jumped in before the last shoulder was formed and ended up breaking even on the shoulder… lol i guess when i got out, u got in wish i could've rode it with yall but the IWM was telling me to run for the hills lol Glad u Bounced Back, Ro$$! KEEP BALLIN
Thanks Ross for the recap! Glad that your day was green 🙂 Yes, the market is showing some moves 🙂
I'm still in my learning phase, I'm not in any rush to piss away any money I don't need to. I'm using sims everyday to see how my strategy plays out, which is pretty good so far and once I fully get started I will join a group. But what you said about showing people that you're a profitable trader is SO important. There are A TON of conmen out there and you're probably the third or fourth person I've come across that I feel I can trust and learn from out of hundreds. Transparency goes a long way. Definitely going to check out more of your stuff.
Ross that’s incredible! I am so grateful to be learning from you. I’m working hard and you’re a great inspiration. Hopefully Leo told his mom that you basically made a year’s salary in about a half hour’s worth of trading😬😬
YES now I recognize ROSS, I won't be a trader without him.
Do you have the same risk level for every trade or does it vary depending on the trade ?
Ross, do you normally trade pre-market or during normal hours ?
Ross thanks for sharing … I see your tradervue .. I have been using them too based on your using them … first year at day trading … little over 50k net .. (profit 117k loss 65k )my issue is I over trade and gave back nearly 65% .. looks like you give back 30-40% … is there % target you shoot for as the win/loss ?
I love you man… But I have to admit, I almost spit my drink out when you said "DVDs" xD
If I pay for warrior trading do I get to join his live trading sessions everyday ??
When you make money, your recaps comes out very quickly and when it's loss very late and sometimes you don't publish it just like last Thurseday, May 20. 🙂 :):) :):) :):) 🙂
you are right….patience is the key tese days.
Hi Ross!! When are you going to do live trading again or at least premarket live on YouTube?
Hey ross what scanner system do you use ?
Hello, may I ask what so you saw in anvs that sueded you to go w/ it so heavily.
Thank you…
I wonder how many of the 800,000+ of us have gone out and bought two of these thin Asus monitors….I'm going to guess at least 100k 🙂
why choose SCPS? Just because of the breaking news?
