Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

What's up everyone? All right? So today is day three of my Small Account Challenge and it is a no trade day. I didn't take any trades, you know, I just didn't see anything that looked quite good enough. And the whole approach with this small account challenge is one trade a day is a small account way. One trade a day keeps the real job away and less is more.

In other words, trade the best, leave the rest. So today, you know, as it turned out, the one that I was watching, I traded it in my main account and I did okay on it. Yeah, it went a little higher than I thought it would, but I just didn't feel confident enough in the setup to take the risk in the small account because in a small account I don't have a big cushion and so I think it's the right move to just not trade. If I don't see anything that looks right now, I'll post this as a question for you.

Leave it down below in the comments. On a day like yesterday, when we had a lot of opportunities, was it the right move to limit myself to just one trade When I probably could have taken three or four, even five? Because now on a day like today, even if I wanted to take five trades, there weren't five a quality setups. So in other words, if I take just one trade a day and limit myself to that on the very best days, I'm cutting myself short and is that a good move? Well, I think it's good for discipline, but I'm interested to hear your thoughts. So it's also the third day of trading in the bus and it's at least 90 degrees in here.

It's extremely warm. I've just shut down my computer. the fan was running on overdrive. I mean, it's um, you know, I'm sitting here in the sun.

I'm baking, so I'm sweating. Uh, but you know it's it's fun, It's it's fine. It's nice to have the fresh air. It was supposed to be kind of overcast today and drizzling, which would have been perfect, but it's it's hot.

So I think the good thing here is that I'm kind of getting, uh, you know, I'm I'm I'm getting pushed out of the bus. uh, earlier in the day just because of the heat. And that's going to stop me from over trading. because I'm not going to sit here dripping sweat on my keyboard trying to over trade it.

You know, 12, 30 in the afternoon when it's 100 degrees in here? I'm just not going to do that. That's ridiculous. So you know something I did earlier in my career. I would trade on a laptop in the morning and then I would close the laptop.

I would unplug it and I would put in a different part of the house and I wouldn't go get that laptop again until the next morning. so I wouldn't. And everything for trading was on that laptop. charts, broker, Everything.

Because over trading is such a big struggle for beginner traders, you know the market's open. I'm going to keep trading. why not and get you into trouble. So uh, you know, learn from my mistakes and do everything you can to maintain some discipline.

And maybe some of these tricks about trading in your car or putting your laptop away will help you. now. Hold up, Hold up. Before we get into that recap, let me remind you, in case you didn't already know, that trading is risky.
Most beginner traders lose money. You should assume that you will lose money trading as well. So with that assumption in mind, do yourself a favor and trade in a simulator before you ever put real money on the line. And I don't want you to try to blindly follow me or assume that my results are typical because they're not all right.

So with that said, I hope you enjoyed the recap questions. Comments: leave them down below. It's a short recap here for day three. Tomorrow is day four.

Hopefully we have one really good setup. All right, we'll see you then. All right everyone. So uh, small account Recap: Day three of the small Account Challenge and I am up.

Zero dollars. Started this morning with five thousand, five hundred, twenty seven dollars and eight cents and I didn't take any trades. I didn't see anything that was obvious and I think it was the right move. I did trade in my big account but and I made money.

But it wasn't a great day. it was very choppy. Uh, the one I was considering in the small account was Dtss and I was watching it for this break of 550 right here. You know the thing is, it was going right into the open right at the open.

We have this. You know you can see it did pop up from 550 up to a high of 580 so 30 cents. but then it dropped back down to 529 which is typical of that first opening range of the first minute or so of the day. Very wild volatile range and I just didn't feel confident enough to take the trade in the big account or in the small account.

So no trades in the small account today. Dtss. Also, you know it was a a nice one yesterday, but then it ended up fading. uh, as you can see kind of all afternoon.

So this pop-up here, I just didn't feel like I could trust it. So one of the things I talked about yesterday was the fact that as it turned out yesterday, there were multiple good a quality setups. But I only took one trade because my approach with a small account is one trade a day. Unfortunately, today there wasn't one trade that I really thought was a quality, so I didn't even get one trade.

You know? So yesterday I might have been able to get two or three a quality trades. Today I got zero and you know that would make up for it if I had taken a couple. But I'm sticking with this rule of one trade a day and I just have to be okay with the fact that some days I won't have any trades because nothing really looks good and that's okay. So today's a no trade day.

Day three of the small count challenge. No progress, but better than going into the red. So I'll be back tomorrow for day four and hopefully we'll see something that looks a little bit better and gives me the opportunity for one good trade to finish up. Uh, the week Friday tomorrow? So that's that's the game plan.
So very short. Uh, recap here of day three, no trades. I'll be back at it first thing tomorrow. All right, I'll see you guys then And that right, There was an entire video with no ads.

I don't monetize my Youtube channel with video ads, which means you guys get to enjoy the content, but do me a favor, please hit that subscribe button and give me a thumbs up and let Youtube know that this channel is the channel to watch if you want to learn about day trading.

Hi, can you explain in one of your small account challenges video , how can you decide not to trade based on what ? Filings, specific patterns, what patterns, volume is decreasing day to day basis… how can beginner trader make this decision by looking to the chart based on what he she sees and not feels, some type of check list what to watch and turn away from this stock if one of the conditions not happening, thanks,

Thanks for putting in a video on a day like this. We all need to know to do the same when we don't see anything good.

One way to help with over trading is to set an alarm 🚨 on your cellphone that lets you know it’s time to stop πŸ›‘ trading at a certain time. For example, if you know you have your best trades the first 2 hours of market open, set your alarm to go off 2 hours after market open. When the alarm 🚨 goes off, shut it down, and come back the next day. Personally, I use the sci-fi sounding alarm for this. Once I hear the sci-fi alarm go off, I’m done trading for the day, no exceptions.

Personally, I feel that the one trade a day is a great rule. I get the FOMO so badly but then remind myself that I am still learning and tomorrow is another day. Today was my biggest red day since I started 2 months ago. I knew I was not following my strategy and I knew better yet pushed those buttons regardless. Monday is another day. Thank you for your videos. They inspire me while keeping me grounded.

Hey Ross, love your discipline, the best way for all of us students to learn. It would be good if you took more trades, but only the A+ set ups….ideally in your small account just trade like your students all should

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars toe4miss says:

Most people with small accounts fall under the PDT rule so you should be doing this as well to make the challenge IMO more in line with a small account target traders.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars K Island says:

I think its a pretty cool challenge for you to limit yourself to a single large trade because you have the experience to do such a thing; but for me, I prefer to limit myself to 3-5 smaller trades per day. And with a cash account-I have to further limit my trades to 1/2 of my account so that I can retain buying power for the next day.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kobe_Power says:

that my problem. i gotta learn not to trades some day. instead of forcing a positions when i dont like the way the market it.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Aaron Warren says:

Maybe you can have a rule like, "If the market as a whole is decreasing, then limit small-account to one trade a day; or maybe if the particular stock you're interested to trading is decreasing, then limit it to one day.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Creative Thinking says:

My vote is to stay with 1 a day. It's realistic and proves people can actually make a living with one good setup a day.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kyle Griffiths says:

some of us don't have the capital to trade as many times as we want. stupid t+2. i hate it. even with my 10k account im still missing opportunities because i dont have the discipline to trade 5 k one day and 5 k the next. i cant pass up a dip or discount or any other opportunities for that matter. with how overly shorted the hedge funds had the market, it feels like every day for the past 3 weeks there has been some short squeeze or momentum play.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kelvin NYG says:

if you have a small account, is probably because youre a newbie, so one a day no matter what. Because a hot day can be a red day for a newbie.
if youre a pro, then id say you have the ability to actually execute a 2nd good trade on a day so yeah i would take another quality trade on a hot day

I have question I really hope you answer it, your warrior program cost about 300$/month. If I subscribe to your program, will I make more than 300$/month. I know the comparison is wrong, but this is an important factor to subscribe to your program. Also, I am willing to take the program seriously because that what I want to become in the future a day trader for living.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars BigLenz80 says:

Those trades may look good, but could also go in the opposite direction. It sounds like the fear of missing out on what could be. I think the one good trade for a small account is great for beginners like me. With less the 25k I’d only be able to trade 3 times a week in the US market anyway.

My thoughts are Ross needs to install AC in one of those beautiful windows behind him, of course plus bigger inverter maybe another battery and a little innovation πŸ™‚

Hey Ross can you do a tour of the bus outside and inside if not its ok thanks πŸ™‚ The comedian Fluffy collects them also and I think they are the perfect beach summer vibe cars love them

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars 6Deep6 says:

I think its the right move Ross. The question you are asking if it is the right move or not is a hindsight question and I think we fool ourselves to think that we know the right move in real-time while we study after the fact. The process is the most important part

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Christian Maitner says:

When is overtrading considered overtrading? and if it is in fact overtrading, when is that ok and not ok… these are the golden questions!

Sorry, I missed the course, but I watched the replay and I wonder if I can get the eBook? I checked my email, but no ebook was found. It may be because I missed the live broadcast. 3497 is my one-year rental fund. I can't pay for the study courses. I want to study the ebook by myself. Do I have this opportunity? Thank you.

I noticed the overall sentiment of the market this morning was a bit bearish I should’ve listened to my instincts instead I didn’t and closed the day down 350$…. Today would’ve been a good day no to trade it’s ok live to see another day

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Austin Anderson says:

I’m I missing something, didn’t you have about 1100 dollars for the first two days and started at 2500 bucks and somehow are at 5500 lol?

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars FlySeboFly says:

Good job – sometimes best position is cash position – neutral P&L. Looking forward for new small cap adventures! Keep it up buddy!

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars LetOffSomeSteamBennett says:

You should treat it like you have the PDT rule. 3 trades in 5 days. The big issue with that rule is I think people will tend to hold positions longer in hopes it becomes worth it. Unfortunately that tends to make a trade that quickly turns red becomes a big red because you hope it recovers and you don’t waste a day trade

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Python Optic says:

Hello Ross, you are using DAS trader with CMEG, is that right? What do you think about Taikon and would you maybe have a second to show your screen set up, specifically for the small account. Would love to know what kind of information you prioritize and how you organize it. thank you.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jeff bee says:

the challenge is a "small account challenge"… not a "one trade a day challenge" therefore….
MOST people would assume a "small account challenge" to show how an accomplished trader can take a small account and make it a large account as quickly as possible….
