what time period would you look at to confirm one of the three trading patterns? Would you look at the 1Yr timeline to notice the downtrend pattern or 6 months? An example is like downtrend at the 1Yr but then turns into a horizontal pattern at 3 months. Would you classify this as a horizontal pattern? Thank you.

I’m 15 and I don’t understand all of what you explained, but the horizontal and up going pattern make sense to me
Buy High Sell Low.
I also look for the golden cross to help with confirming the reversal. 50 day over the 200. And I also look for the RSI to cross above the 70 line for a bit, if it's been trading between the 30 and 70 for awhile, then wait for a pullback and enter in. Works most of the time.
