What's up everybody welcome back to the channel. Today's video is gon na, be one the update for the stimulus check for the first one, the ones that have already kind of come through and also I want to go on to the second stimulus a bit, and where are we right now with the second stimulus Package, alright, first and foremost, stimulus check the first one. It looks like a lot of you have received your checks. So congratulations to you guys.
I'm talk --, i revaruraa Tire mint, SSI, SSDI survivor benefits all of that good stuff. It looks like this past Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You guys have received your checks, whether that was direct, Express I'm. A lot of rep Pease have received their checks, I'm extremely happy for you guys.
It was a very long time. So, first of our most congratulations to them now I have an article here that I want to share. I'm gon na put it right here, for you guys this article is by the hill and it's states that Senate Democrats pump brakes on new stimulus checks, so senator ben cardin, a member of the Senate Finance Committee, said he wants the next round of checks. Coronavirus relief checks to be more focused on households that actually need it, which is big, because there were a lot of families who mean you can't judge and say somebody does what somebody doesn't need it, but there were a lot of families this time around that actually, Probably didn't need two checks.
He said two things were here that I'm gon na quote and again this is from the hill I'd like to take a look at all of the aid we provided and get good economic information on the value for that. From the point of view of our economy, but more importantly, unfairness to people who are really hurt, Cardon said when asked whether he would support another round of checks. So obviously he wants to support another round of checks. But what he's saying is he wants to make sure it's going to people who are actually in need which, in my opinion, I'll get into that later, but I want to kind of just go a little bit more.
He also said we wanted to get money out quickly. We used the refund checks to do that. We used the PPP to do that. He said referring to the Paycheck protection program for small businesses.
He also said, I think, the next round we've got to be more targeted to those who are really in need, so I hope we could target this a little bit better to those who have been hit hard because they called it. So here's what I get from that - and here is my own opinion, so here's my opinion with that. First and foremost, yes, I'm sure that there were some families who receive checks who necessarily didn't need it, but at the same time, who are you to tell somebody if they do or they don't and what I mean by that is let's say me: for example, I'm In an industry where we are, we are effective, but I'm thankfully still employed. So I'm not you know, unemployed or laid off or anything like that, but I do have people in my family who I support. That have been so. You know. Obviously, I'm gon na take some of that money for myself and give it to the people who are in need to support. Well, let's say I do lose my job.
You know you know within everything like who are you to really say that you don't need it or you know this person? Does it is this person? Doesn't this person is employee makes a hundred plus thousand a year. This person is employed, it makes fifty thousand plus a year. Who are you really the say who needs it? Why are you counting somebody else's pockets? I think the more that they do this and again I'm independent, I'm not a Democrat or a Republican, I'm independent, but the more they do, this, the more the people who need it are waiting in our struggling eye and are suffering the more that they do. All the back and forth and the hold lies and the would ifs and they try to make everything perfect the more people who actually need it are struggling.
That's just my opinion on it. I do get where he's coming from. Do I agree with it? No because again, who are you to say that somebody doesn't need it? You can't look at somebody on paper and then she's gon na go to millions and millions and millions of Americans homes understand if they really need it. Look at our bank accounts.
Looking all that and they're not gon na do that they could. They could barely, and when I mean they, the IRS could barely get two checks out the first round and a very professional and in to me a logical way so trying to do more than that. This time around honestly, is all I need you guys to do really this time around is to really focus on these. Are my opinions just get the money out to the people and get it out faster, stop trying to count other people's pockets? That would be my opinion, just get them the money and the people go off just gone for the same thing.
From last time, the tax returns go off of the tax returns. That's it, but please do not count people's money, because you can barely get the money out to us fast enough. That's just my opinion. Let's worry about.
You know the things that we actually need like, which is the money right now and that's it. You know you never know when somebody can be affected. You know at all. Just you just never know so you can't go off of paper.
You have to really go off of look as a whole, we're all in this together right any other time. They want to say we're all in this together when they want us to wear our masks, we're all in this together. Now, when money is the problem, it's like oh well, we want to focus on people who are a hit-and. Okay, you can have your opinions, but at the same time the people who are suffering now who really need this money are now waiting more because you have your personal opinions on things.
So that's just my opinion guys. What do you guys think about this article? I'll put the links to the description of this article down below not a big fan of the comments he made. My boys are own SSI and they have a direct express card and I'm a payee for them, and they didn't get there first stimulus money. And I didn't file taxes this year. I can't work myself.

Thankx for the updates. Absolutely true the government shouldn't have such assumptions as to whose economically more deserving, like they're all knowing as Jehovah or Jesus. Lots of varying circumstances plus fall out relating to this pandemic has caused a domino effect on many more than they could ever know.

I live way under poverty line at 790 a month I live in public housing (hud) I bought a car ($500) and fixed it $300 plus tags insurance I couldn't afford it before I hope we get another check but have lived this way so long … My son and his wife and 5grandkids have not received any benefits (stimulas or unemployment) what do you suggest they do?
I think he is talking about people like me that get SSDI, SSI, or SS. Because our income hasn't been affected, but in the same breath, we have had to struggle with buying essentials at a higher cost at other places rather than our usual stores because the those stores selves are bare and it causes the prices to go up on items needed. I think they should continue to do what they are doing because every single one of us has been affected by this financially one way or another.
Me and my brother both draw Social Security on a Direct Express Card I'm his payee and we haven't received the first stimulus check so I have given up looking for one
I feel like the people on ANY Disabilities that Already receive income from the government don’t need a stimulus,Their checks are automatically& that’s less money to give to those really in need
I was supposed to get my stimulus check the first one on the 28th to get my payment portal tell me what bank it was registered to or was sent to I have a Rep payee which is a organization she's saying it's not in their account the portal is saying it was deposited on the 28th so I'm not quite sure where it is no one can tell me everything try calling the IRS hotline number and get to speak to a real person so I'm just sitting out here stuck

How can they who need it or don’t need, but because they getting more money out of all these stimulus check, and I don’t really believe they need it. They not suffering. That why they make up all reason not to send out any more money. So of the big business didn’t need it but they didn’t screen their pockets, Just do what’s right for the people, Because God is sitting high and looking down on everything.

I agree with what you said today.people who live paycheck to paycheck severely needed this stimulus. I'm retired and fortunately have social security and the money I got helped my son(I'm his payee representative and he really needed that money) the stimulus helped me buy much needed food and this last 6 wks I was finally able to do that he actually didnt hve to go to a food pantry. B4 retirement I worked off and on as a temporary employee for different agencies now with this pandemic I know most if not all temps will no longer b necessary those individuals will need all the help they can get.
I live on SSI till now I didn’t receive my stimulus direct deposit.we talked with irs internal revenue and they told us that they doesn’t have my information on there system please what I do ?

So true!! I’m still waiting for my direct deposit and I have the same account for years. This is crazy! It’s our tax payer money and they are handing is out to businesses like it’s their money. The people that need it for survival they slap us with $1,200 check and it should repair everything.
Yesterday I looked on the IRS website and it says I should be getting my first stimulus check direct deposit to my bank account on 3 June
So what does this mean about the ones on ssi
I didnt get the 1st stimulus check all because my husband has a ITIN number and I have my social security number we fila jointly yearly so that is ehy I didbt grt my stimulus check so unfair. I rrally pray I get yhe second stimulus check🙏
