Netflix and Amazon prime total waste of money in my opinion, cigarettes and small cigars ask me how I know?

Agree to all, but UK tap water is appalling, literally the only good bottled water here is either evian or highlanders spring or something. People just saing to themselves how good is the other tap water or all other bottled waters and this way they will never get any better imported water. Where I used to live you have that evian, highlander taste to any local spring water even cheap. Just saying I can't stand the taste of any other waters in UK, expensive or not. Keep in mind that 100% deionised or purified filtered water tastes exactly as bad.

Use a basket rather than a trolley or the smaller trolley.

Don't feel embarrassed weighing out a single/ limited amounts of items. Most of us have all been there at some time of our lives.

A weekly meal plan and using or freezing leftovers saves alot too.. combined with these shopping tips you can probably halve your bill… for example you can add cooked green or black lentils to minced steak and it barely alters the taste ,but the meat goes twice as far.. use this tip especially if you are adding sauce for Bolonese etc…you can use bread that's on date to make fish cakes thereby avoiding waste… we all waste so much food… better to use it than waste it

Pre chopped frozen peppers and onions only 99p saves me money. If I buy the fresh ones they go off really quick. I also buy a bulk toilet roll in Costco which goes for about 4-5 months. I will never buy pre chopped meat it is too expensive and nothing is stopping me from chopping my own meat. I also find that if I buy chicken at the butchers it is way cheaper than the supermarket. I buy most stuff in supermarket own brand unless I like the premium brand for taste for example Hienz Mayo and ketchup. I buy bottled water 🙈 I do not like tap water maybe it’s a mind thing. I also noticed that cleaning products and toiletries can be more expensive in the supermarket so I normally go to savers or another store to get those.

My issue is overbuying – coming out with lots of stuff I don’t need and never intended to buy. My two top tips against this are 1. Never go to the supermarket hungry and 2. Take a shopping list.

Something I would add to the list -> premium toilet paper. This stuff is 5x the price of the OK one and you literally flush it down the toilet. Don't buy the cheapest one, that's also extreme but do you really need your toilet paper to smell like roses? The good smell won't transfer, you should wash if that's your argument. xD

Also I did side by side comparison of Morrison's Savers white chocolate for £0.30 and the Morrison's Best white chocolate for £1.40 and it was literally the same chocolate, identical bars, one of them wrapped in plastic and the other in aluminium foil with colour printed paper on top. Don't pay for fancy packaging. 🙂

About coffee. If "you" use a traditional moka and an electric stove, every coffee will taste the same (generally like shit), so you will not be able to find almost any difference between a £3.50 lavazza red pack and a £1.40 Asda pack, save for the fact lavazza is a finer ground.
About buying beans: beans are more expensive, AND you'll have to grind them. If you drink a lot of coffe, grinding beans yourself or using ground coffee will not make a big difference as coffee will not go stale: save yourself time and buy the ready made stuff.
Last but not least, when you buy a good semi-pro coffee machine (e.g. a gaggia around £250-500, depending on what/where you buy it) and buy decent coffee, coffee will taste better compared to what comes out of a moka.

    Tip #11 don't shop at Waitrose 😉
Tip #12 check the price per 100g/100ml

I agree, better to stay away from the deli counter!
