Western countries aren't anywhere near overpopulated. We can support our own populations with ease. Overpopulation is more of a developing country problem.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hessel Folkertsma says:

Why do you state overpopulation is a false belief? I think we are very much overpopulated, just look at the amount of raw materials we are consuming and subsequently the amount of waste we are producing as a species. The Earth can’t handle our 💩 anymore…

If your economic progress is dependent on everlasting growth to work, of course you’re always going to think the world needs more people. I would rather see it as a sign that we need to rethink the way conduct economics.

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars HTTYD MrDragon says:

    I like the lightbulb analogy
Tho I think one piece of information is missing:
A few countries are using migration as a tool so they can replace people (like US and some eu countries)
This could make a difference nationally

Hi mark I’m 22 and just received a letter saying that I’m now going to be paying into a pension do you think it’s worth it ?

I've got 2 a third on the way. Plan on having more. So when I say 'I'm helping keep the race alive' . I wasn't joking

    Alex Jones was right

Industrial society , working day and night, and liberal ideology will put us in grave.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Derek Elsner says:

Infinite growth on a planet with finite resources will never end well. Anyone with half a brain cell would know that at some point its not sustainable.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Andre XX says:

Human numbers increase while everything else declines. Guess, what? The planet was not put here for us to outbreed everything else into extinction, unless you think like an economist.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars abdelrhman hassan says:

Do not kill your children for fear of poverty; it is We Who provide for them as well as for you. Killing them is surely a grave sin
    Quran 17:31
It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Marry the one who is fertile and loving, for I will be proud of your great number before the nations on the Day of Resurrection

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars BigHenFor says:

A Low unemployment rate doesn't automatically translate into higher wage growth, or real wage increases. Look at the UK.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TheChosenCactus says:

If any one wants to learn more about this these are population pyramids and show the age and amount of people in a country

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sean McGall says:

I'm sad to hear all this fearful news, I've been away sick which had me distracted from learning, back now, trying to build a base of knowledge and confidence to put my savings to start working for me.

Are you doing one of those projects again where u take a newcomer to finance and get them started? I really enjoy those grounded approaches to realistic growth investing the way u do them!

    Human Capital = Human Batteries

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Juni Lee says:

The govt should implement an incremental tax break for those choosing to have children. It’d incentivise people to have more children which would help sustain the population and the economy.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tiewaz says:

Why would young people want to have children when jobs can't support themselves much less those children? Kids are expensive as hell.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Welten Zerstörer says:

This is why they want to ban abortions. So that the elder people can benefit from it if the younger work and pay the taxes like you said. So yeah imo why should I have kids if I can't still live a luxury lifestyle. But its as well because gen Z women are dumb asf due to these social media platforms and all other dirt in the internet and media they are fed from.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the helpful video, I’m already invested in some healthcare companies and I’m also invested in some electric charger manufacturer companies, and I’m only 13! (I also have some crypto) So, thank you for the helpful video! You are great! Also one more question, how much money should I invest?

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mc Allister says:

As you can see we are already in <August and I feel for those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in space or probably just naïve, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading since it is way profitable than holding. Trading went smooth for me, I started at 1.7 BTC and i have able to raise over 19.2 BTC in just few weeks of implementing trades with signals and insights from Vivienne Ashcroft Signals. I would advise y'all to trade your asset rather than hold for a future you aren't sure about.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Anym says:

we literally have an overpopulation my guy. If we can't have a good economy without a constant, and unsustainable, growth, we have a shitty economy. But knowing billionaires, nothing will change. It's our own fault for this constant greed. We, as the human race, have completely forgotten we don't live in a perfect little simulation where our environment will just get edited to fit our needs. We have a planet to take care of, resources to split, mouths to feed houses to build, and nature to literally give us the air we breath, and short-term profits will hurt the long-term health of our one and only home, as we have already seen in the last few decades from the last few centuries. That's the problem with us as human. We're animals, yet we don't do self-balancing. Animals live, and die, yet we have tried to constantly beat death

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tony Camilleri says:

Having children will inevitably distract us from realizing what this life is all about.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars عمار says:

Blame feminists and women in work places and going career crazy. I’m a strong believer of women at home. 🤷‍♂️

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Anthony O'Hern says:

All of this is true and valid, except that we are overpopulated, and I'd rather have an economic problem than an environmental problem. Money is renewable, but if we kill the earth we're all dead.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ally Joy says:

    Amazing content as always!!

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars PotatoesAndGravy says:

Dont worry, for every one child you dont have, Elon Musk will have two.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Roughster says:

Maybe it’s not movies but the fact we treat people like crap and nothing but cogs in a wheel. No health care, hustle culture without benefits. Why raise kids when you are barely scraping by and one paycheck from financial disaster?
