This isn't novel. Britain is heading back to the 1980s, to Thatcherism. Full-on trickle-down economics combined with some populist hand-outs – but they want to gut government. And reductions in taxes will ensure they have to gut government.
They want to spend more on support systems? So they claim. But defunding government won't support this.
"We need to encourage people to work": right, 'cause people out of work want to starve.
The UK is doubling down on bullshit failed ideology of hard-right capitalism.
This won't work. Can't work. Didn't work.
The new British PM is as irrational as Turkey's Erdogan. And markets – wholly capitalist markets – are reacting just as they have to lunacy in Turkey: they're shorting the pound. Britain is so fucked.
Sounds like Trickle Down Economics to me. The rich owner class get extra funds and don’t spend it; they hoard it, save it, and invest it. This extra money never gets spent at small businesses, nor does it end up leading to higher wages. This approach has never shown to be beneficial for anybody besides the richest in society.
Could be their objective, cheaper pounds encourage more tourist coming and more exports for local business. The relax tax also encourage new business venture and inflow of new fund. All sound good on paper so far.
And the lower tax% doesn’t equate lower revenue for gov… imagine if business and people making more profits and income, the lower tax rate can be compensate by bigger revenue, % tax lower but absolute number can be higher. That’s what people don’t get it…

While everyone is focused on BTC, ETH, or any other top alt coin and playing defense, they are missing out on high-quality projects set to launch on CEX. For example, AMZT3S will go mainstream soon, with 10x-20x possible even during this bear market, but only a few people are aware of this.
I'm DCAing in AMZT3S as well. ETH heavier DCA and ALGO. I'm taking your advice and starting Google tomorrow with a 50 dollar purchase and continuing Microsoft and Apple. VTI and VOO on another app and longterm portfolio. Here we go family!
