Hey it has 5 trillion in someone account and if his premiums is not net worth 56 or 28 billion dollar purchase then the insurance will kick in and pay out… but with 5 trillion we can knock out some off the deficit for USA CUURENCY…
You said it, Ricky. It would make Perfect sense to wait to have the money first, before purchasing TD Ameritrade. Purchasing another company with Stocks seems pretty sketchy and pretty messy in the long run. Patience and cash is the way to go.

In Australia, it’s very rare to have a fully cash buyout. It almost always includes issuing at least some additional shares. This is often a great way to do that as it allows the company to grow, rather than needing to wait whilst they build up the cash (and thus don’t have to have too much idle cash) and they can always buy back the stock using a share buyback program anyway if they have excess funds in the future. However, although I’m pretty ignorant on the matter I don’t think they made the right decision as both companies operate in the same business. What’s the point of the acquisition? Just to buy market share? Surely they can find a better way to invest their money so they can expand there business operations rather than buying out a much smaller company that sells basically the same product.
TD AmeriSchwab will be the new name
They bought them out with stock so they are not adding any value with the acquisition to its investors this could be a good opportunity for another firm to counter this offer by offering a cash offer and give a percentage for investors that are already with Td Ameritrade 2% than they hold a stock and short a stock with the merger

Like you said, warren buffet also had over 100B in cash. I’d say that’s worse than a all-stock acquisition. Especially because schwab is only 2x the size of TD, and (TD) is owner 43% by TD bank, which shouldn’t approve the offer if they had to sell out. And like you said, the don’t have the cash to do so. Also investors in TD (like me) get a very solid premium ratio if the deal goes through. I think this is a better long term outlook for both companies.
