News came out after market close that TSLA not being included in the S&P500 (and that Softbank likely behind stock and call buying pump that drove price vertical before stock split)… perhaps should have waited until price hit 20-day MA ($327) before looking to buy for long-term…

Buying when smart moneys leaving. I’m not touching it at all, but I hope you get some$$$. Smart money just played along with retail money as retail continued to buy over valued stocks. The stocks you bought were likely those of the smart money. But retail money may just see this as a discount and dump in more money, but it won’t be mine.
Conner you’re a wise man, I can say that because I’m doing exactly the same thing, coincidentally I also have 6 share. 😂 I’m nibbling away hoping the price continues to drop (even though I’m losing in the short term) and buying one or two shares as it goes. But if not, whatever, I’ll just hold what I have until hell freezes over.

Energy sector is a better longer term investment heck it was the most undervalued sector before the corona virus panic. If it goes back up to pre corona virus panic under valued levels that is 50% or greater return…keep it simple XLE, XOP, FCG and IEZ. Gasoline cars are still the kings of the road no one honestly wants to recharge over and over. Maybe the technology will get there someday. What we are seeing is HYPE and psychology. But alas ..Im just a CFP and Stock broker of over 25 years – what do I know.

The market shift we saw yesterday was a Hedge Fund correction since they longed FAANG stocks and shorted cruise ship companies, gaming stock and other. Yesterday they reversed their position. If you have good knowledge like the successful you can survive what is coming…and you can thrive.

Tesla had a new low today. I wouldn't consider this a reverse in trend. Why buy when the stock shows a new low in price the same day? I would much rather keep waiting until I see a solid reverse.
I did a DCF on AAPL and I still can’t get the price I want came up to about $97.00 for my strategy, I’m always amazed at traders who can make money consistently day to day trading. I just can’t get around a good price mindset. Maybe I’m doing something wrong or calculations are off but eh, tomorrow hope it drops so I can buy.
