You're gonna die. The question is in your life and in your business, are you gonna live So the punch line is you're gonna die in my second book Life by Design I Actually talked about this concept that many of us we we get stuck in this desire to take action but this fear of what if and in the book I Talked about most human beings are six moves from death and dying and every decision they make. So I say hey, you know you should ask that person out or you should start that new business or you should make that phone call and most people go. oh if I make that phone call, what if somebody rejects me if they reject me I'm not going to feel good if they don't feel good I'm not going to perform well if I don't perform well I'm not going to make any money if I don't make any money I'm not gonna be able to eat in about an eat I'm gonna die and all I said was hey, you might want to make a phone call So here's the challenge.
You ready? You're gonna die. The question is in your life and in your business. are you gonna live. There's just something magical about Eustress about stress about like forcing yourself to get out of your comfort zone and actually get out there and make the phone call.
Do the work, try something new, you're gonna die. The question is, are you going to live and if not now, then when.
I'm not afraid to die or look bad. So I can really live!
That is straight up. The #1 cause of death is iiving, so… you better live.
I have learned a number of things over the years from a full spectrum of people. One of the odd bits [or maybe just odd to me since I am not jewish] is a seemingly simple thing : l'chaim. It can be offered up as a blithe toast, but there can be something deeper: a purposed and joyful defiance of much of the worlds insanity – it does not regard fear in the least, and bears no spite. I distill it into another observation, which is that fear and faith cannot occupy the same space at the same time.
