So what the heck is going on with amc stock, and am i selling right so, what's going on team, it's ricky with techwith solutions? Amc was not looking good by any means right at market open it got rejected. But honestly, a lot of the market was pulling on back and that's what i think, i'm continuing to see is as we're seeing major markets pull on back. Amc is tending to follow to some degree right uh. We saw that tesla quickly began to recover.

It hit lows of 638. I don't even want to talk about my short position, so many people get triggered in the idea when it comes down to shorting tesla uh, i mainly focused on it as a day trade when the overall direction is bearish when it's getting rejected by the ema line. It's super simple to short right. I covered my shorts completely.

I don't have any more active short positions in tesla and i hope that it does recover right, but you can't be upset for someone taking advantage of an opportunity when it presents itself right as long as you do. Your part in mitigating risk and the opportunity cost makes sense all power to you. That's exactly what i did with amc as well. Today did i short amc heck? No, i bought an additional 800 shares.

I added 800 shares to my position so right now i hold 3 400 shares of amc. I show you guys my green days. I need to show you guys the red days. It's all part of the process.

I wanted you guys to know that you're not alone. I'm down 12 000 on the day on amc. When it comes down to my short position on uh tesla, i took that on my fidelity account uh. I did pretty well.

I didn't have as large of a short position as i had yesterday, but i did have a little bit over 500 shares, which i quickly covered as it broke below 640. Now, what's my plan with amc, let's be real with it right. Let's talk about the upside and let's talk about the downside, i'm not here to convince you to hold, as i'm not here to convince you to sell one of the things that we are seeing is. We are testing this previous support level that it's had before right.

Around 42 uh it's bound to before, and it has made a full recovery to about 60 right patterns tend to repeat themselves. They don't always have to i'm not here to be like and encourage you to hold uh, while everyone else is pretty much doing the same right. All i'm doing is. I have a dollar amount invested in amc that i can manage and that doesn't make me an emotional mess.

Let me tell you this. If i had as large of a position as i had with you know, uh tesla, with my fidelity account in amc. I would be a little bit more worried and you guys might be asking what the heck. What's the idea behind that, when you have so much more uh more money invested in a position, you become an emotional mess right so when it becomes or begins to pull on back or it doesn't go according to plan, you become irrational and i think that's the The idea that i want you to stray away from it's put yourself in a position to succeed, and it doesn't mean that your trade has to come out in the green, because every trade is not going to work out according to plan.
But as long as you put yourself in a mental state where you can make rational decisions, i think that's what's most important, i tend to make the most rational decisions when i'm not fully invested - and i don't have so much money on the line that i become An emotional mess - and that's all we're ever here to encourage you to do it's not just about amc, but it's about tesla, it's about any stock that you see, value in as either an investment or as a trade take advantage of it. When you see the opportunity present itself so as amc pulled on back yeah, i'm down ten thousand dollars on the day it sucks, but i've been up seventy thousand dollars in the day uh with amc right. So it's it's part of the process. With this specific stock.

Now amc is a different monster. It is so much - and i am saying this - it is so much riskier than any other blue chip stock. A lot of them. A lot of people like to refer to a meme stock, a hive stock whatever it is that you want to call it greater risk, greater reward.

That's the easiest way for me to put it right, i'm not here to discourage you! Nothing like that, i'm just being open-minded. I am here to take advantage of opportunities when they make sense of me and as it pulled on back, i was like hey: how cool would it be if i can buy at these lower levels and ride the recovery with the idea in mind? Is it's all about structure and discipline to some degree right, i'm not going to go in blindly and have no form of risk management. Now, if amc breaks below 40, a share, i'm gon na have to reduce my position. Size.

I'm gon na have to begin to cut losses as it's no longer going according to plan and that's again with structure and discipline. I'm all four right. I was able to buy the dip right around 43 44, but i don't want to ride this all the way back down to sub 40, because it's never been below that, since it's pushed up to highs of 77., so that that uncharted territory is not something that I want to partake in especially not with over 3 000 shares. I'm sure you guys understand why, right so, i'm all for it.

I was happy that i was able to buy the dip nearly 1 000 more shares than i had yesterday right. I will add more to my position: if it breaks above ema and based off of previous patterns, we could either wait for the short squeeze if it ever happens, or based off of previous resistance levels right around sixty dollars, a share, it tends to get rejected. I have my reason why i bought today i have my stop-loss right where i'm gon na you know manage my risk and cut losses if it doesn't go according to plan, and i have my exit plan either 60 or above that's, that's the goal. Please please please, all we're ever here to encourage you to do is to implement structure with your trading right with great opportunity comes great responsibility, and i think you can easily see in the comment section who has a plan and who doesn't who's freaking out and who Isn't right, the only people freaking out and that become emotional or irrational and become an emotional mess? Are the people that have no more money to buy at the lower levels they're fully invested and they hate when everyone else is, you know going against them? It's not about anyone else right! It's about you, do what's best for your future self and put yourself in a position to succeed, take into consideration the opportunity cost the risk the reward manage that risk and do your part in setting your future self up for success.
So i wanted to update you guys on my red trade uh and i'm excited to follow up right, so told you guys about my stop-loss told you guys on why i bought more and where i plan to sell. So i'm super excited to follow up, wanted to keep you guys up to date with you guys nothing but the best. Just wondering…. Did you sell anything when it dropped below 40? They are just playing with us to see if they can shake some shares loose. In the end only the strongest 💎 🙌 🦍 will be remaining.

Can someone actually tell me why they think AMC is a good buy right now when it was worth like $3 just months ago? Has something in the company changed fundamentally in a drastic way that gives reason to these recent insane gains?

AMC is a great buy at the moment, but do you have an Idea how well it would do? I just retired and I set aside $200,000 to invest aggressively with. mainly AMC and NIO. Let me know your thoughts y’all.

Below 40 is an arbitrary number, did you sell when it hit 38.76 today? Seems like you fueled the hedge funds by throwing fist full of cash into a burning dumpster fire I call their short position. I’m not selling unless they pay back the shares,AMC has enough money to continue for awhile.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick Nicholas says:

3 days ago I said AMC would hit 41. It's there and then some. AMC is a blue chip? Too funny.

i have had shares of tesla for years now, and i think elon musk (like him or not) is one of the geniuses of our time. but the idea of people shorting it doesn't really bother me. the fact that people get their panties in a knot when others short stocks they like or own is beyond ridiculous!

This is from redit: ((THIS IS BIG!! THE THRESHOLD LIST PRECEEDD GME's RUN UP!! I FIGURED OUT THEY CAN HAVE MULTIPLE 13 DAY CYCLES ON THE THRESHOLD LIST AND THEY MAY HAVE 2 DAYS TO COVER AFTER EVERY CYCLE!!! I decided to go look back at when GME was on the threshold list before their run up. GME was on the list from Dec 8th to Feb 3rd!!! You can check it out here "..sho-link.." You have to check the second page for some of the dates to see GME listed.
What i found was that on Tuesday Dec 22 GME had it's first jump. It closed at $19.46 up 25% from the previous close of $15.53. If we assume Dec 8th was the 5th day out of the 13 day cycle then Friday the 18th was the end of the cycle and they were given 2 days to start covering on Dec 22nd.
After this it bounced around $17-20 until the next run up which was on Jan 13th where it closed at $31.4 up 58% from the previous close of $19.95. If we go with Dec 18th being the 13th day of the first cycle and Dec 22 the start of the second cycle then the 13th day would have been Jan 11th and 2 days later again on the 13th they covered. Remember Christmas and New Years the market was closed.
They then started a 3rd cycle on Jan 13th and the 13th trading day was Feb 1st and the last day on the list was 2 days later on Feb 3rd! But after the second cycle FOMO had kicked in and the smaller hedges were being forced to cover and they ran up to $500 at the peak on Jan 29th. it's likely they covered some of the FTDs along the way up to push the price up and the remaining ones they covered on Feb 3rd when the price was dropping since we couldn't buy. They could have then proceeded to hide any remaining FTDs in options since they were no longer on the list.

Somy belief is that once they hit the 13th day they get 2 days to cover and they only have to cover the FTDs for that cycle but if in those 13 days they get another set they don't cover then a new 13 day cycle starts and it snowballs into the start of the initial squeeze…))

Glad some people share the pain I and many other smaller cap stock holders have to deal with in the latest week. But we have been here before. I do my part in not being fully invested in the US markets. The market I trade in before the US markets (european) is doing okay and I have the advantage of being able to see which bank the buyer and seller is from in the orders on a stock. I start to wonder if this advantage is a bigger part of my success then previously thought.. cuz god damn does it make it way easier if a huge investment bank like goldman sachs is also buying in heavy when you do it on a dip. Anyway glad to have you as a coach Ricky.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rich says:

Hey ,do you have any videos on how you set your stop loss ,is it a percentage below your buy ? And same for you sell ? Or do you set you stop loss and sell based on a mixture of support levels and percentage above and below your buy in.The issue I am having is I set my stop loss 5% below the buy in for instance and below previous support, then im forced to sell on a dip and the stock ultimately recovers.Thanks.

    Noob question.
Why does it get rejected it a certain prices

Is that where people take profits?
The algorithm take over selling and beats the people buying?
Is a price where psychologically people just sells.

    I still dont get it..
